Extremely disappointed. I scheduled a tour for 4:30pm and confirmed it the day of through text message and no one showed up (I was supposed to meet with Jordan). I waited for 20 minutes and called twice with no answer. Don’t waste your time with this place.

Don’t recommend! Never ever going there! After my 3rd request of my agreement nobody send it to me. I remember what I signed but I was charged much more & after 1 year they continue charging me. The stuff very unpleasant. He insisted I don’t understand different between words: monthly & by weekly. That is how they make money on their clients. Very disappointing.

I had an appointment to sign up and do a tour of the gym and even got a text message to confirm if I was coming in. Got to the gym to only to wait in the front lobby for 30 minutes and someone working out let me in the gym but I waited for another 30 minutes for someone anyone from the staff to show up but no one did.

I will report this place I wasted my gas and time to come here for no reason. Place is small anyways

Very disappointed yesterday the way I was treated by an individual who said he is the store manager very rude person yelling at me just because I was very serious about what I was looking for in a new gym. First when I arrived it he didn’t introduce himself so I don’t know his name . I told him I wanted a tour of the gym then he was like then let’s go I said I have more questions o ask about membership and how much then he did say 20 dollars every week . Then he asked me what nationality I was so I responded to him why he was asking me that he got upset like he didn’t like I didn’t answer him then he got rude to me start getting loud when I told him he was unprofessional and being just like 7 minutes with him he was very rude yelling at me so that’s when I ask for the store manager … he reply he was and no one will help me . I was surprised how anytime Fitness can have a person like him working there . I called the cops on him because he was out of line yelling so Lou did it in front of everyone like he owned the gym. Disgusting never thought my morning w end like that. I’m trying reach out the owner to talk to him but no luck . They can check the cameras if they want he was a savage so disrespectful. I rather stay where I’m currently.then he told the cops he refuses my business after he was the one treating like so disrespectful when all I wanted was just to enjoy a new gym. By the way I had a video but since i have so many pic didn’t saved on my phone luck for him.

Completely unreliable staff. Even when I was trying to sign up for a membership
over a year ago, I had gone in three separate times and there was no staff in office. I should have known at that point to not even sign up for a membership, but I did anyways. Overall the gym is nice, clean enough. Doesn't make up for the fact that the staff members are NEVER in the gym and completely unreliable. Fast forward to this previous January, I decided to terminate my membership due to being busy with school and work. After calling several times and getting no answer, I went in to the gym to have my membership canceled. I spoke with an employee and he let me know that my membership will be terminated THAT DAY and handed in my key fob. Since I had gone in to cancel my membership (January 2023), I have continued to be charged 34.99 per month, even after my membership was "cancelled". These past few days I have called a total of 5 times trying to figure out why I am still being charged, got one message that asked me to call at 10am on Monday, which I did, and again no staff replied. I have contacted my bank to dispute all charges. I got scammed out of 315 dollars which I may or may not get back.

Amazing gym! Super clean and have so many great options for weights. Not super crowded and a lot of space to spread out. Only downside as a powerlifter is there’s no standard power bar. But overall great gym!

Even on a Sunday morning, the gym was clean and well organized. Although it's not a huge space, they have a wide variety of equipment. Everything you really need to get in a great workout. I've been to a few different AF locations and this is one of the best.

This is the first anytime fitness I have visited and I enjoyed my experience. It’s a smaller gym, but they have a variety of machines and equipment to choose from.

The staff, cleanliness, and programs are all high tier I would definitely recommend. The only thing this gym is lacking in is amount of gym equipment. If there are three or more people wanting to use the same type of station at the same time, at least one of them will have to wait. This, however was not a problem for me, since the gym was never overcrowded in my experience.

I enjoy the brand as well. The idea that you can go anytime either to work around your schedule as you please or go when there are less people it can work for anyone.

The reason I gave this 5 stars instead of 4 is because I think they’re better than the competition the area. I would much rather have a membership here than other cheap gyms in the area.

Also, I took advantage of their free week trial so I am not familiar with their pricing. If I were to say what I think a membership here was worth I would say $40/one month or $15/month annually.

Great gym! Absolutely love when the owner of an anytime greets you as you enter. Really shows they care! Also, this gym has pretty much every piece of equipment you need to work out. Kept extremely clean too (which I especially appreciate due to covid.)

I was looking for a second gym to sign up for, and this location (along with a new Planet Fitness) are walking distance from my place, so I decided to sign up for the free 7-day trial on their website.

I received an email for the free 7-day trial and was told to print it and bring it in to activate the trial. So I took time out of my Saturday to go to the Anytime Fitness on 135th Street, only to be told that to activate the free 7-day trial I would have to pay $39.99, and that the 39.99 would be refunded at the end of the trial (probably after I have to jump through a bunch of hoops that I have zero desire to do). My issue with this process is that the website and the email that was sent did not mention anything about a $39.99 fee. Someone needs to tell the marketing folks at Anytime Fitness what the meaning of free is. It does not mean charge my credit card $39.99 to use a free 7-day trial. While the email fine print did not mention a $39.99 fee, it did state that you could only use the trial during "staffed hours" as it is a 24-hour facility. So if I can only use it during staffed hours, why are they trying to charge me a $39.99 fee for a temporary key fob? A key fob would not be needed if I'm only allowed to use the facility when staff was there. Such a confusing process for a "free" trial. Here's a thought: If you're going to offer a free 7-day trial, do that. Stop trying to trick people. I go to the gym a minimum 4 days a week and have several friends who do the same. It's safe to say I will never go to Anytime Fitness because of this nonsense and I will be sure to tell anyone who is willing to listen to do the same. I don't appreciate having my time wasted. If the website or email stated that a $39.99 fee would be required to use a free trial, I never would have wasted my time going there. I definitely won't be wasting my time there again.

Overall, a clean and comfortable facility to workout in. Never overcrowded. Missing a few key machines that other gyms have but I can get the job done with what's there.
24 hour access works great for me since I need to work out later in the evening and that's not possible with many of the larger gyms. Everyone there is very polite. Not loaded with a bunch of unruly swearing kids that I've dealt with in other gyms. Friendly staff. I'm not familiar with any of the group classes, tanning rooms, etc. so my review is only based on the exercise and workout equipment.

The "go to" gym. There are limited memberships and parking for members. Children are not allowed; minimizes the distractions. Everyone is friendly and the gym is clean.

Dear Brian, WHY DO YOU NEED TWO SEPARATE GYM MEMBERSHIPS LMAO your entire post was invalid after I read that.

I've never had any problems with this location, or any location actually. Always clean. Always left alone. Always good vibes. Plus showers, tanning, a hydromassage bed, and shock absorbing treadmills (I have tendonitis and cannot run on "regular" treadmills or pavements). Some of the younger kids (and some older, tsk tsk) like to leave weights and benches in weird places during unstaffed hours, but I just put them back. Literally the biggest problem I ever had with them. Through my experience at Anytime Fitness, I was able to have a safe place to begin my journey to being a healthy again; somewhere I felt comfortable. I started going last winter, and this winter I'm 70 lbs lighter, and stronger than I have ever been; even when I played volleyball for 8 years straight. Oh, and I can do inversions too; something I was never able to do in my yoga practice. I was nervous to begin, but now it's like a second home. No judgemental glares or interruptions. Just people working to be their best self. Would recommend 10/10.

Been my gym of choice for 18 months. Love the 24/7 accessibility, real Olympic platforms with high quality half racks, good equipment selection. Management is friendly and kind, and Mike can usually be found cleaning treadmills or vacuuming the floors. The facility is always clean, towels and wipes stocked, bathrooms impeccable.
