Was a nice gym but they closed their doors. I just signed up 5 months ago and paid the yearly fee and then I was paying the monthly fee. Talked to the only location still open (Orland Park) and they said charter fitness bought out avolve. So avolve ,or now charter, took our money and closed their doors. Bad business.

I’ve been to a couple of gym’s in the past. But Avolve Fitness is one of the cleanest and organized gyms I’ve been in. Crest Hill location is a little small and sometimes can get a little cramped, but they still have all the equipment to complete your workout.

I was looking between multiple gyms around my area to go to. Finally found Avolve. 24 hours which other gyms did not have. It is not super packed like all the other gyms. Always clean with disinfectants available. Plenty to do with parking and enough space. Everything you look for in a gym you can easily find here without being packed.

This gym is the bomb everytime I go it is never overwhelmingly busy and always see everyone clean their equipment when they are done. I wish they would let us use the hydro massages even after the staff leaves just because I can only go at night and that’s when staff leaves so I pay for something I cannot use. Other than that I really am happy with my experience here 😊

Really great gym. They have wipes and disinfectant for members to clean equipment before and after they use it which is great. Plus they have a great crew that goes around cleaning the place throughout the day. I have a workout class scheduled on Thursday which I’m really looking forward to. There’s this front desk associate that’s a really swell guy and I’m planning on asking for his workouts because I can tell it’s been working for him.

Very impressed with how far this gym has come. Great price for a membership and it is open 24 hours with a key card entry. They remodeled the inside of the gym, the weights and equipment is new/state of the art, and the staff here is great! The manager Cassie is great and a phenomenal trainer too. Definitely book a training session with Cassie!

I tried this gym when it was Workout Anytime and I was not impressed. Now that there is a new gym in its place, I decided to give them a try. I cannot express how happy I am to have made that decision. A world of difference from the membership pricing, atmosphere and staff. Not to mention their personal training pricing! Marcus at Crest Hill is THE guy. My past experience with personal training from high end gyms to personal gyms to mediocre gyms has truly put a damper on wanting to ever pay for personal training again. I promise you won’t be disappointed! Thanks Marcus!

If <⭐️ was an option, I’d give that...Avoid this location! The “manager” is rude and condescending with substandard customer service skills. Ineffective at handling issues such as cancelling memberships and resolving billing issues. Went in to the Crest Hill facility to cancel membership and almost two months later, I am still being billed. Was treated very poorly by the “manager” of Crest Hill’s facility for what was his error. It was confirmed for me by another facility that the account was in fact not cancelled properly at the time I requested. So between the money I am awaiting a refund for and the poor treatment received from this so-called manager of Crest Hill, I would not recommend investing a penny into this gym. Too many other establishments that know how to treat customers and accurately complete transactions. After having this individual raise his voice at me, speak over me and tell me that I am “going to hear him out” as he rambles on about how this is not his bank account and it is not his fault or problem—when it is his fault...then leaving me sitting on hold for an extensive amount of time after I requested the number for the corporate office, I can only warn that this isn’t a place that you want to be in any contractual agreement with or allow any financial ties with. Perhaps under direction of a new manager it would be acceptable.

love this place. I've been coming here since November when it was Workout Anytime and the current Manager Jeremy was my trainer. Fast forward and now with a new name it is still a great place to workout. Clean. affordable and a great staff. Always greeted with a smile. There is always equipment open and you don't have to wait to get your workout in. Great to get in and get your stuff done and go home. If I wanted to sit on a leather sofa I'd stay home. like any gym it's what YOU make of it they give you the equipment

This facility deserves a No star review. I am a current member of this poorly run gym. I have been charged hundreds of dollars at this point for services I've never received after they changed Owners and lost staff. I also happen to know that they allow staff to "TRAIN" people who have no qualifications to do so. This place will rob you and you risk injury. Staff is rude and refuses to give Manager information. Zero stars.

I signed up to this gym because it was great that finally there was a 24 hour gym. When I signed up they told me that after hours the gym would be locked and I had to scan in order for the door to unlock and that this was their measure for keeping people working out secured after hours plus it would not allow non members in but as I have been going to the gym it is always unlocked and I go at 12am or 1am and I am pretty sure that not everyone there is a member. I'm disappointed that they would lie just to get members.
All in all I like that I can workout late at night because it works with my schedule and there is no other 24 hour gym in the area. Until someone opens a gym that is 24 hr and actually does promote security and keep non members out I guess I will continue the membership.

It’s nice place for work its little small have no sona some machines un complete. Juts make you when you sign up take a paper of agreement. Because they told me you can cancel your membership any time so when I trying to cancel my wife they it’s can’t because in system it’s 1 yers agreement. So I am 20$ per month.i learn my lesson...other wise this please of work very professional and nice staff and clean... nice place for work out 👍

First the good. Hours are great, equipment is new, the female staff is very nice.

Now for the bad. Gym is a bit dirty. Water filter hasn't been changed for months. Locks on Lockers for months. Some equipment is to close to each other. Temperature in the gym in winter got as low as 55, then days later it got into the 90's. Seems to have gone downhill since management changed.

Only reasons we stuck around so long were the hours and location being close to home.

Hopefully things get taken care of as it has potential to be a good gym.

this place will cost you 125 dollars roughly for your first 2 months! it was 45 bucks to start, plus 27 for the next month, and then 53 dollars for the year....yeah thats something they should mention outright, but they did not, they make you think its a higher rate for the start and then a regular monthly but its not, and i was not told, when i called and asked them why i got a 53 dollar charge, and then a 27 dollar charge all in the same month, they flatly told me to "check the contract" . HOW CHEAP

not to mention the conditions inside this tiny little gym, there is literally no room, your always in fear for the well being of your fingers and toes when someone is walking around with a weight because everyone is crammed together, its an alright place if your coming in for cardio, but if you like to weight lift, get ready to wait in line behind others who are using the one or two machines they have per muscle group, or never be able to grab the dumbell you need everytime because they have one set for everyone to use.

PROS: good for cardio, new equipment, new facility appearance wise, and you can always bring a guest

CONS: small facility with not enough room, few lift machines and not enough equipment for everyone to use, Sly and sneaky billing, which isnt a problem if youve read above so you already know what to expect.

your better off with charter fitness or planet fitness, ive already paid the friggin extra 100 dollars, so im kind of stuck here, or im losing it, but dont end up like me

Very disappointed. I've had issues with Workout Anytime since day 1. My bf and I decided to join a gym together since I just moved to the area. We called Workout Anytime because they were marketing this great deal for the new year and told us twice by phone that our initial payment would be $24.99 ($19.99 for the first month + $5 sign up fee). Turns out it's nearly $100 to sign up initially. After an hour and because of the confusion, they gave us a discount which put us at $25 each. Fine.

I went in the following week for a "fitness assessment" which was an HOUR sales pitch for personal training during which I was told I "could use some personal training" and "you won't lose any weight without it" and "you've been told wrong by your personal trainers in the past". Then he basically wouldn't let me leave until I agreed to sign up for $400 in personal training per month (I did not sign up). I was pretty horrified after that experience, but decided to go back a few days later to give the gym a real try. I was underwhelmed and realized it was not the gym for me.

I went back 13 days after signing up to cancel my membership (they told me I had 14 days to cancel) and was given a piece of paper and told I needed to mail it in to their corporate office. Not once during this interaction did he say I needed to get it in the mail ASAP because it needed to be post marked by the 14th day. In fact, he said "mail this in when you have a chance." The following day I was in a car accident that totaled my car so I didn't get the letter in the mail until two days later.

Now I get three to four phone calls per day demanding I pay for February and March plus the annual fee because I didn't cancel within the 14 days. I've talked to at least two people who said they would take care of it, but today received an email from ABC Financial saying they would send it to collections if I didn't pay.

So if you want a gym that body shames you into buying personal training and harasses you for canceling your membership, this is definitely the one.

Very happy with this gym! It has a big gym feel without the big gym prices and it is more personable with the staff and trainers willing to help you reach your goals. I love that it is open 24/7 so I can go in and workout whenever I want. The equipment is nice and new and up to date. There is a wide variety of equipment from CrossFit type to free weights and cable machines to cardio. It has everything you need and more!
