This is an amazing exercise classes, both my husband and myself absolutely love doing the Tai Chi classes. Kazzeri is so welcoming and has a beautiful heart. Both my husband and I felt a difference after a week in mind, body and soul. Helped with over active thinking, belly bloating, great for clearing stress in the body, feeling of peace after classes. It is a special connection they teach you to have with yourself and I would recommend this to everyone!

After just 3 months, my quality of life is now the best it’s ever been. The improvement with anxiety started within the first couple of weeks. I came in for help with my spouse who had been suffering with a neurological disorder that disconnected the body and brain. At the time my anxiety was starting to turn into body twitching and headaches. After the first class I felt relaxed, restored, and full of energy. The best part was that I learned that it was from energy that I created during the class. Now fast forward to just 90 days later tension headaches are gone and twitching is reduced to rarely. My spouse is condition has improved exponentially that deserves its own review! Master Christina is amazing teacher and healer! Master Jo’s workshops are truly life changing! If you over stressed, overworked, have an anxiety, unable to perform good at your other gym because you felt it’s pushy, or it required too much of you, Brain and Body Yoga is for you. It’s completely different type of yoga for me at least. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

This place it’s absolutely amazing! You come in and your life changes completely. I go to classes almost everyday. Every single class is unique and helps you in so many ways. Master Christina is super sweet and dedicated, and helps you with everything! I really love Energy movement Class with Beatriz, another super sweet and incredible soul! It has been a little over a month since I joined.
For sure it has been a wonderful experience of self awareness both for my body and mind. The positive impact on my health both physiological and mentally have been tremendous. The usual aches and pains that over the years I have been experiencing has significantly dissipated. No longer do I have to accept the chronic pains I felt, which I thought were brought on by my aging body. Instead, I am empowered to do what I can for my body to heal. Thank you Master Christina!

It’s not the typical yoga place you’d expect!!! It’s a place where you’ll awaken all aspects of your existence, physical, mental, emotional, spiritual… it’s awakening your body, healing your chakras and calming the mind with vibration energy through movement. What I love about the classes is that no two classes are the same, and you’ll move in ways you never thought you would … I love the Wooden Pillow class, and it’s not the kind of pillow you’d sleep on, but oh boy it feels so good. I also love the Tai Chi classes. Especially the Outdoor Tai Chi class on Wednesdays. It’s a great mind and body connection through movement and tuning into the energy we have and it’s all around us. I have been taking online private sessions for about a year with Master Christina. I have been feeling a lot better, I sleep a lot better and my mind is calmer and more peaceful. My body is more flexible and lighter.
Overall I feel much physically and mentally stronger and I can hold Sleeping Tiger pose for 30 minutes, which for me is a great accomplishment. I love the sessions, I love the challenge and I look forward to them.

I began going to Body and Brain Yoga in January 2021 for overall mental and physical health. It has made a world of difference in my work, home, and personal life. Master Christina is awesome! Just what I needed during a time of hopelessness in my life. Master Christina is the best, very friendly, compassionate, and helpful she is helping me to get through my anxiety disorder and so far so good. I always feel my best after a private class and the best part everything I learn I can practice at home. 2 classes in and I’m learning a lot. When I sign up for taking Yoga four years ago, I thought I'm going to get some stretching and some exercise . But I was so surprised by the wonderful trainer in that place . They are so caring and loving people that with their technique and lots of patience every day made me not only better person, they made every pain that have go away . For example I need a shoulder surgery because it was so painful ,and my hip the same goes away . Forever I thank my trainer master Christina . Everyday I look forward to go to see her even that now that is so cold that we have class outside . Forever I thank her.

During this past winter I had finally made time to join Body and Brain Yoga Tai Chi. I visited the Libertyville location over 15 years ago but did not join at that time. After attending for a few months I have had something amazing happen! I wish I would have joined 15 years ago! Although I consider myself to be in very good shape my body has reminded me of all the stress I have put it through. I have always been very active with such things as swimming, snow skiing, lifting weights, martial arts and so on. I sustained an injury while snow skiing over 20 years ago that has plagued me with pain for many years. I’ve been to the doctor several times, I’ve had x-rays and MRIs and was told there was nothing wrong that they could see. Throughout the years the pain has gotten progressively worse I gave up driving manual transmission vehicles because it was becoming too uncomfortable. Eventually I even had trouble sleeping for more than five hours at a time because the pain would wake me up. So here is the amazing part, after a few months of attending Body Brain Yoga Tai Chi My pain is almost completely gone! I actually felt something click back into place after session a few weeks ago. I had thought to myself over the past few years how I would do anything to get this pain to stop! Even though the pain is nearly gone now, I do not believe that this will be the highlight in this experience. The Staff at Body Brain Yoga Tai Chi are very professional, warm, friendly and knowledgeable. I believe this is one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself.

I have been attending classes at B&B for 6 months and it has been an amazing experience. Everyone is so warm and welcoming, and cares about your growth. After a few months I started 1:1 sessions with Master Christina and the progress I’ve made physically and mentally with her expert guidance has been remarkable. Whatever personal goal you have for body and mind (overcoming stress, building strength, healing, etc.), I truly believe these methods can help you get there. Highly recommend B&B!

I feel like Body & Brain found me at a time in my life when I really needed it, but didn't really know what I needed. I've learned a tremendous amount about how to deal with everyday stressors through yoga, tai chi, meditation, and breathing! Since I learned about joongwan breathing technique I am sleeping 100% better, my digestion has improved, and my overall feelings of well-being are leaps and bounds above what they once were. When you become a member of Body & Brain, you become part of a family with all the Masters and other members. If you are caught up in the hampster wheel of life, do yourself a favor and consider Body & Brain. You will not regret it, I promise!

I was shocked at how helpful this was and how profoundly kind and empathetic the staff/instructors are. Briefly put, I tend to be a very skeptical and cynical person. Anyone who has worked in EMS, Fire, or Law enforcement will immediately understand where I am coming from. Similarly, I need data and verifiable information to trust a new system. Hence, I was enormously pleased when the instructors could not only answer any of my questions in ways that made perfect sense to me and my understanding of the human body, but provide sources for additional research into their system. This is not new age woo or snake oil. The instructors are SME's that genuinely know their business and care deeply about helping people. I was recently diagnosed with a life changing illness. I went from being very physically fit and capable to...not. Everyday is now painful and believe it or not the work I have done here has brought more pain relief than the laundry list of medications I am now on. Cynic ot not I believe in this this system and these people and would highly recommend them. They are far more then a yoga studio, and approach physical and mental health from a nuanced and holistic perspective. If you've made it this far, thanks for reading. I dont normally do reviews but these folks are into something. 5 stars.

The Body & brain yoga center has changed my life completely! I was 20 years old in a world full of anxiety , self doubt and insecurities. I didn't know that what I was feeling wasn't normal and there was a way to cope with all these challenges! Without taking classes at Body & Brain my life would be so much miserable. I was so stressed out and I was angry all the time due to my new position at work. I felt chest pain and I was just not happy. I was looking for meditation classes. I joined Body & Brain 5 months ago. After every class I was able to feel my stress level was lower. My husband is happy because I feel better now and I can smile again. All the instructors are very nice and they are eager to help people. I can’t thank them enough. I hope someday I help other people by healing just like them.

I first learned of Body and Brain when my husband and I were looking for a Tai chi class. We knew nothing of Tai chi except it was supposed to help with cognitive ability. After taking both their Tai chi and yoga class I found what I was looking for. My husband hopes to join me when his schedule allows. I joined body and brain yoga 3 months ago because of health issues, and I heard that yoga will help me out, so one night master Hillary came to the place I work, and mentioned that she teaches yoga, so I decided to give it a try for a month, saw a big difference in my health, and then I stopped for a couple months trying to do it at home with no success, so I decided to come back and I'm so happy I did, because my bladder is getting better, I'm happier and grateful with all the people that teaches, they've helped me a lot!

Finally came into the Libertyville center after learning some about the methods taught at Body and Brain a year ago from a good friend of mine who instructs in Glen Ellen center. Sometimes timing is everything. Have to say this was perfect. I was looking for a method that incorporated many things that I knew about yoga, Tia Chi, Chi Gong and the meridian energy system and brought it into one fun, comprehensive, easy to understand and learn system. Really it's so much more than that but in a few visits I found I was more focused, centered, flexible and just feeling good overall. Essential addition to living a health orientated lifestyle. I would highly suggest giving it a try with an open mind. Great people, Wonderful instructors, and best overall method I have found. I'm hooked.

When I walked in for the first time, I felt a sense of home and peace and knew that I was meant to be here .The power of mind/ body connection is so powerful and so real. It doesn’t matter what worries or stress or tension I walk into class with, it is immediately lifted away the second class starts. It is honestly the best part about my day and if I can, I go to 2 classes a day! For anyone who is looking to heal the heart, body, mind, and truly become one with yourself- look no further. I really enjoy the Body and Brain yoga experience. The stretching and yoga practice is second to none. The energy sensation along with the mind meditation is so energizing. When I leave I really feel like I have exercised my body, mind and soul. There is nothing else like the Dahn yoga method. I can honestly say I have a happier existence just from attending classes. I am a member of Dahn Yoga for 5 years. I joined Dahn Yoga three years ago to help relieve stress. Besides helping with stress it has also helped my physical and emotional health, giving me a greater awareness of who I am and some of the habits I have formed. I love the classes and environment. The center is warm and clean. The meridian stretching classes have helped my flexibility and core strength. The instructors are knowledgeable and compassionate. They have been there to guide me when I have slipped back into my old habits. They truly care about their members. I joined this place when I started having panic attacks and muscle cramps after my daughter died. Some of the stuff we do seems really different. After being there for a while I realized no one judges me and it feels safe to dance around with my eyes closed. I do weekly healings with Master Lee and find it so helpful. I've been doing it for probably about a year and feel so much better. Sometimes I walk in the class with the weight of the world on my shoulders and when class is over I feel so much better. Best of all every single time I go in I get a big hug and I feel so welcome.

I wanted to fight back against the stress, physical tiredness, the aches and pains, and just the mental fatigue that has accumulated in my life. I believe I have FINALLY found exactly what i was looking for in Dahn Yoga. Through both physical training and through meditation, which they have taught me, I can truly feel myself improving all around. I feel stronger, happier, more alive, in a better mood, and the aches and stiffness are gradually becoming less pronounced. I love it! This is not just yoga "stretching" and physical exercise. It's a mind and body healing program. I feel such a sincere love, acceptance, and positive energy every single time I walk through the doors. I have now been a member at the Libertyville Body and Brain for 15 years. In this time I have improved my physical and emotional well-being and learned a lot about taking care of myself.
The center has a clean and peaceful environment. There are classes 7 days a week. I enjoy a supportive community here, and the guidance of so many caring instructors! I’ve become happier, healthier, and more peaceful through the training. I am in better shape now than I was 20 years ago, and I plan to continue my self-improvement as long as I live.

I've been practicing this yoga for almost 4 years now and it has been life changing. When I first walked into this dahn center I was really depressed and desperately looking for something to help me find my self. I had experienced other types of yoga but what made this yoga stand out from the others, for me, was the focus on cultivating mastery of our mind; and this is done not only through classes but through workshops as well. Through the practice and trainings I have gained so much insight about myself and my life. Dahn yoga has given me the tools to create the life that I want. Also, I love the Tai Chi and Brain Wave Vibration classes!
