HORRIBLE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Classes constantly cancelled with little or no notice. High turnover of instructors. No communication between instructors and management. Will charge your card on file without authorization for services not provided and then refuse to return messages, calls, or emails for weeks or months at a time. Had to open a case with my credit card company. Absolutely shady and unprofessional. There are way better places in the area. My daughter has already learned more in two weeks at her new school than she did in months of classes here (a significant percentage of which ended up being canceled anyway.)

Communication between instructors and management is poor. There were several instances where instructors were late which left parents in the dark as to whether there was class or not, one of our children was not on the schedule when we usually have both children swimming at the same class time, and then management cancelled a class without assisting us with scheduling another day. I liked what the instructors taught, but the way things were run was such a headache. I would not recommend to anyone.

Both instructors: Elias and Skyler are open, dedicated and creative in their aspiration to help and improve my swimming skills. Elias suggested, demonstrated and motivated me to try a variety of techniques. Skyler offered and participated in creation of a training plan with the specific sequence of exercises to achieve my goals. I have obvious improvement and directions to further progress!

As a new adult swimming learner, I am glad they started in my gym lake view fitness. I love British swim school staff especially Amanda, the best support any company could ask for, she reaches by text, call or an email. She responds and clarifies all your doubts. Very positive. Instructors are amazing. I tried Michelle and Elias. Both are good. I strongly recommend British swim school and one day when I become a swimmer all credit goes to British swim school.

Took lessons here for about a month, and lessons have been amazing. I've been terrified of the water, and the instructor was very patient with me the whole time. I was able to float after the very first class, and it was a big accomplishment for myself. I look forward to the upcoming classes :)

What a total waste of time and money for the classes they offer! Stay away from it as much as you can. Your kid's movement will be restricted by the instructor all the time during the classes, he/she won't be able to learn the REAL SWIMMING. Besides, communication with them is a real disaster as they never answer your call plus frequent rescheduling of the classes. We left after 1.5 months' enrollment for our son, and we felt it was the best choice we made.

This was the worst customer service experience I had evenf encountered. There's no business address for British Swim School, and no one ansered the phone. I registered a 4 wks session, even before class start, they already charged me 2x in 4 days. So I called them and told them I would cancel the class and request a full refund. Not sure why VHPD to have 3rd party to mange swimming progrom with such bad RAP. thanks,

I don't recommend this school for the reasons below: 1. very poor customer service: when you try to reach them by phone, no one answers it -- the only way to speak with them is to wait a call back which can be several hours, days, and even weeks; 2. frequent cancellation and rescheduling of classes, often you receive a message at 9am saying "today's class at 6pm is cancelled, can we do 3pm instead?" the only reason they give is lack of staff; 3. no clear leveling up during your enrollment. it seems they want you to stay at the level as long as possible (maybe it's a good way in terms of making money). and often you find your kid doing the same thing over and over again under the instructor repeatedly over a couple of months. I know a couple who enrolled their son at this school and after 1 year's classes, their son finally learned back float, but nothing else. So, if you want to save money and time, please find other places.

Often classes cancellation , changed instructors all times, one of the excuses was lack of staff - Whole experience was staff so frustating. I enrolled my kid over there for 8 weeks swim classes. Overall Awful experience!!! Never recommend to any one!

We enrolled our son in Libertyville Swim Lessons in June. However, during the enrollment process, we were never informed that the class times would change when he levels up. Additionally, no one mentioned that we would need to attend some classes in Vernon Hills, even though we enrolled specifically at the Libertyville location, which is a 30-minute drive from our house.

My experience with British Swim School was highly unsatisfactory. The lack of communication regarding class time changes and the inconvenience of attending classes at a different location made the whole experience frustrating. Furthermore, the issues with the lack of staff, last-minute class cancellations, uncomfortable swimming conditions, and the constant changing of instructors only added to our disappointment. No-one picks up the phone when you call their number.. a tons of problem. The overall environment at the school was disorganized and unsettling for my child's education.

Based on our experience, I would not recommend this school to anyone. It is essential for schools to provide clear communication and consistent services to their students and parents, and unfortunately, British Swim School failed to deliver on these aspects.
