The establishment where the classes are carried out is well taken care of, and the staff is super friendly.

While the kids take their class and the joy learning, there may be other gym goers on the other lanes, or areas, but this does not distract the kids nor take away from a positive experience.

The BSS instructors are amazing. They definitely have a great eye for all skill levels and they always find a good way to read the room and plan a good strategy for each student.

These classes are not only for kids, but anyone of any level. If you didn’t know where to go for a comprehensive and friendly swimming class, I’d recommend you’d give them a try.

Beyond the actual class and the facilities, they use an app service that we use to manage students, classes, schedules, notifications, communications, and information. This app is super easy to use and super convenient.

Wonderful teachers and staff and the BEST customer service (DuPage) I have ever dealt with! My kids learned so much in a short time and their AYCS/birthday promos are awesome!! Highly recommend 👌

Glendale Brittish Swim School at LA Fitness is the perfect fit for our little one. Beth Ann and Rene are the two teachers that make this event so special. We are currently working with Beth Ann who has shown care and understanding with our son and other students. She always has a positive attitude and a happy spirt which puts our son in a good mood to start class. Rene worked with our little one when we first started with swim class. He was able to make our son feel comfortable and hel him move up to the next level with ease. We are so greatful for Rene and the way he still makes sure to say hi to our little one when we come in. I would say we could ask for better teachers then these two.

My daughter has been taking swim lessons with British Swim School inside LA Fitness, Glendale Heights for many months. The first few months was a little unpredictable as there was a revolving door of instructors & sometimes classes were canceled due to lack of instructors but the recent months have been very productive, my daughter has learned a lot more than she did in Bear Paddle, has progressed more in various swim techniques & loves going to swim classes. The instructors are great, it's nice to have one dedicated lane for class & not restricted to just 5-6 ft of the pool like other places. The instructors are using every minute of the class to teach & the last 5 minutes for the kids to cool down & play. Instructors are gentle with their instructions, giving them encouragement & feedback throughout the class.
It's easy to reschedule classes through text & the staff is responsive, lack of an onsite office is no barrier to get info. Price is comparable to other places nearby. You can also go to other British Swim school locations if you need to. Extra free lessons on the student's birth month is also great!
The only issue is that the kids have to change in tents by the pool & not allowed in the shower or changing rooms due to LA Fitness patrons complaining about kids using them (or atleast that's what I was told). It would be nice to have kids shower & change after class, gymn patrons are nude or semi nude & everyone has to go through the locker room anyways so I don't see the point in not letting kids take showers there. But overall my daughter & I are happy with her progression in class.

Amazing and patient instructors. Started my toddler with swimming lessons. She hated water on her face and now she jumps in a pool, dunks her face in the water all by herself, in almost 2 months, 2 days per week

My son has been going here for just over 3 years and loves it here! The instructors are great with children! The guidance they give to the students to help them improve is great with the small class size. The techniques taught are fantastic and easy for the children to learn and understand. My son has moved up from learning to float to now training to be on the swim team on the pre-swim-team! The swim meets they host often are also great for my son to measure his skills and of course motivating to continue working on improving his skills!

The girls started swimming at the age of four at the local park district. I think they learned more how to slide down the waterslide than they learned to swim. We made a switch in schools...
Now the girls are 7 years old and fearless SWIMMERS after swimming with the British Swim School of DuPage!

My kids have taken swim classes with several places over the years. This program by far exceeds any program out there. The teachers are AMAZING. My kids finally feel confident around the water. I would highly recommend this program to anyone who has young children. They not only teach your child to swim, they teach them how to survive and get to a safe place if they ever fall in.
