This is the best gym ever! I've been going here for over a year and I thoroughly enjoy it. The trainers are wonderful and knowledgeable and the workouts can be adapted to all kinds of bodies and skill levels. The vibe from everyone attending is also spot on. My kid also has tons of fun while I work out, so it's a win-win!!
Seriously, best gym ever. Don't doubt it!

Brush Park is more than just a gym, it's a community and a safe haven for bodies and minds. The staff is diligent and focused on correct form while also entertaining friendly chatter before/after class depending on the needs of the member(s). Not having to commit to an annual membership via the pay-per-class model is freeing, and the equipment and quality instruction are worth every penny. I bike 25 minutes from my neighborhood to come to this gym because there's truly nothing like it anywhere else!

I have been coming to Brush Park for about 3 months now, and I cannot say enough good things about the gym. I had kids and pretty much forgot about myself for a few years, so coming back into the gym was really intimidating for me. As soon as I took my first class, I knew that it would not be the case here. Everyone is so kind and supportive. The trainers tailor workouts to my ability but are also not afraid to challenge me. The members and trainers are really great at celebrating everyone and always point out and celebrate my small victories. I can already tell how much stronger I am getting in just a few months. It is definitely the friendliest gym I have ever been to. Once you take a class, everyone knows your name and multiple facts about you. The childcare is also amazing. My daughter asks to come and work out too.

Before attending Brush Park, I had never in my 34 years of existence gone into a gym. June 2025 I decided to at least try, telling myself I could go once and then back out if I was humiliated. I was not optimistic. I am fat and have lasting pain from an old injury, and I was ready to be embarrassed and never go back again.
But in terms of where to go, Brush Park seemed like the only choice—as a nonbinary person, I’ve always noticed the way they celebrate diversity and are a proud, queer gym. I figured I would at least be okay in that aspect. And, well, I go all the time now, so it turns out Brush Park was the right choice. :)
The instructors at Brush Park have done EVERYTHING to make me feel included. I get helpful feedback, and they check in on me—without making me feel like a burden. (I still apologize too much, and every time they give me a look, like, “Are you serious?”) Although I started from the absolute bottom, I am getting there! I will forever remember the horror I felt when I watched a group of people do a bear crawl like it was nothing. Absolutely surreal, lol. But now I’m down there, too, crawling around!
The kindness extends throughout every person at BP—even the people who attend classes will call out to me when I come in, and I’ve started meeting so many of my neighbors and community members I would have never known. There are people who are incredibly fit and lots of beginners like me, and the instructors make workouts we can all do with variations for the Adonises. There is no shame, just encouragement and investment in your success.
I have gone from just a regular rat to a gym rat over the summer, and I couldn’t have done it without the support of the lovely people at Brush Park. Special shoutout to Linnea, but truly everyone there is an angel. I am so grateful to be folded into the BP community and recommend it to everyone who wants to workout and laugh and push themselves further.

Brush Park is a unique place in that people of all skill levels can participate in great classes. I’ve always felt welcome. My kids are sad when we don’t go. And truth be told, I am too. Because I’m getting stronger as part of a lovely community.

Absolutely love this gym! I've been coming to Brush Park for over two years now and cannot recommend it highly enough. The classes are kept small, which allows the excellent coaches to provide individual attention to everyone throughout class. I was pretty novice when it came to weight-lifting, and feel so much more confident now in my ability to lift heavy things and work hard. The community is excellent, everyone is truly so kind who goes to this gym. It's so refreshing to have such a positive, supportive atmosphere to workout in.

BPG is the best gym I have ever gone to! Regardless of whether you are a super buff health nut or an out of shape mom nervous about working out in public (ahem, me), you will feel safe, supported, and confident here! Community and inclusion is the backbone of everything they do and that is what makes this space so incredible. The coaches are all highly trained and knowledgeable about how the body works and lead small group classes that are challenging and attainable. Every workout is customized to the needs participants and the encouragement will keep you going back! I highly recommend Brush Park Gym!

This place is amazing. I've never felt more welcome. My family came for a workout and child care and it was the easiest experience. The woman working in the kid play area is exceptionally great with kids. And the work out was fun and challenging. I'm way more sore today than I expected to be. Adrienne was such a delight. Recommend this place to anyone.

I signed up for a monthly membership after 1 class. The teachers and members are so welcoming, and I never felt like I didn't belong despite being a total gym newbie. So very glad you're here, Brush Park!

I'm beyond grateful that I found this gym. For the past few years, I've had significant lower back pain -- the result of hitting my mid 30s, a pandemic spent at home, and a desk job. I tried physical therapy, yoga and pilates -- all of it helped, but only marginally. A friend suggested I try weight lifting instead.
Coach Adrienne's classes are thoughtfully constructed with a blend of mobility, different types of strength building, and cardio. Every class is challenging -- just the right amount. It turns out that's exactly what I needed. After six weeks of going classes at Brush Park, my back pain was completely gone. Three months in, I feel SO STRONG in my body and excited to try the sports and other forms of movement I used to love--before my back pain and my own self-conception started limiting me.
The other thing about this gym that has been incredibly supportive is that the coaches (and other clients!!) are incredibly body-positive. I haven't heard a whisper of diet culture since I started -- not even a "earn your dessert" kind of casual quip (that sh*t drives me up a wall; please eat your g*dmn dessert). The only things we celebrate are working hard, getting stronger, and female pop singers. I love it here.

Do yourself a favor and find a way to enjoy Brush Park Gym! Our family has participated in fitness classes, storytelling events, and just recently hosted our second grader’s birthday party here. This is a special place - bright, clean, welcoming, and oozing with positivity and wellness. Adrienne, Steve, Maggie, and Rashad are excellent with adults and kids. This is a gem, come over and experience it for yourself.

Adrienne Farrell and the entire Brush Park Gymnasium team go above and beyond to make sure each family feels welcome, safe, and supported at this new neighborhood resource. They go above and beyond when it comes to childcare and attention during the training sessions. Our family will be headed to Brush Park as much as we can in the years ahead. So glad they are here to be a part of our community.

I love this gym. My daughter had such a wonderful experience here. As a working mom it is nearly impossible to find a space that we can both to and have a great time--and Mama can actually get a workout in! WHAT?!

Our daughter attended a day camp here when CPS had a school improvement in-service day and she couldn't stop talking about it the rest of the day! She loved the activities, especially the rock climbing wall, and kept asking when she could go back. The instructors were so patient and had lots of fun things to do. She can't wait for her next visit!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Brush Park Gym. The facility is so nicely done and the staff is super friendly. And if you have kids at home. . . Bring them!! They will love the kids play/workout area. The kid zone looked like so much fun, made me want to skip my workout and just go play!!

I loved my workout, and the whole space is exceptionally beautiful and clean and bright. Almost too pretty to sweat in. The play area is absolutely amazing for kids, with a climbing wall and play structure, a fun wall to make a marble run, a colorful mural, even a perfect outdoor play space with swings and a spot to safely watch the train. So family friendly and such an amazing resource for the neighborhood! Kids and parents will go nuts for this space and all that happens here, though it's a beautiful gym for those without kiddos too!
