I got the new client free trial of three classes and only went to one class. Obviously wasn’t a fan of the structure of the boot camp class so didn’t even want to go back to use the other two passes. First, the instructor was teaching two classes at the same time. Secondly, the workout was 3 sets of so many reps of the same exercises. The class is an hour long so made the workout seem repetitive and long, something I could have done at home, not at a bootcamp class. Lastly, cleaning your equipment is the norm of gyms but members were mopping the floor which in my opinion should be a staff task.

Bulldog is a great gym. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and supported. It's like 16 or 17 years for me at Bulldog. The people are great. The workouts are varied and thus never dull. One thing that I know scares some people away from CrossFit is "it's crazy hard". It can be, but it is all scalable to what works for you. I'm nearing 72. Can't do what I once could, but I do what I can do. And I keep coming. You should too. ;-)

Been going here for a year and some change now, WAY better than Spero(which I left as the classes were skewed towards the older crowd). The classes leave you on the floor and the coaches are great. There's no judgement here unlike other gyms as I tend to finish the fastest and lift the heaviest weights. I would recommend to the highest degree. Parking is plentiful and I never have an issue. My only complaint is that I wish it was closer but is that even a complaint really? Female owned and she's awesome. Love it here

Bulldog Bootcamp Fitness is the real deal! I first started going last summer but had to take a break due to some shoulder issues. I finally made it back this past Saturday, and I was reminded why I love this place so much. The workouts are tough but rewarding, and the instructors push you in the best way possible. It’s the perfect mix of challenge and motivation, and no matter where you are in your fitness journey, you’ll leave feeling accomplished. Can’t wait to keep coming back and pushing myself even further! Highly recommend!

CrossFit is really fun!
This is my happy place.
Combines strength and cardio so it helps prevent osteoporosis,high blood pressure and high cholesterol and many other pathologies.
This place is really chill and family friendly with motivating coaches to help work on correct technique of gymnastics and lifting .
Also not overpriced like other gyms, so more people can access this healthy lifestyle ….

Starting Crossfit as a beginner has been an amazing experience, largely thanks to the coaches. Their guidance is clear and motivating, making the challenging workouts manageable and enjoyable. Even in the busier Bootcamp classes, there's enough space and equipment for everyone. The programming is the main reason to go to bulldog. Most CrossFit gyms have a very simple program per day. Usually it’s strength and then a short 5-10 min metcon. For me, I’m looking for a harder more challenging workout and this cf box provides it. Along with a strong group of members who come to most every class. 5am offers a herowod on tuesdays chosen by coach Elisa, Saturdays are like a power hour with unique workouts from coach Noah, grueling emoms and metcons that you have a hard time finishing. Sundays come in for oly in the morning and work on your lifts, one at a time. Then hit sunday funday, a full hour to finish a hard workout, dreamt up by a few of bulldogs coaches. If you’re looking to get fit, there’s plenty of options.

Bulldog Bootcamp has been kicking my butt (in a good way) since 4/2021. I needed someone to tell me what to do, and Bulldog delivered. I started here in 2012. It is the best community of adult athletes that I have ever had the privilege of being around. Bulldog is an inclusive and encouraging gym where all members have fun. I love Bulldog. Since day one, all the coaches were super friendly and willing to teach. The environment is great and the members are also open to give suggestions and help. The facility is super spacious and we have all the right equipment. No issues with scheduling. Going now 5 times per week at least and no plans to stop.

Love dropping into this box. They communicate well and the drop in rate is extremely reasonable. I really enjoyed that some days you did two strength workouts vs just one , coupled with a conditioning piece. Whenever I visit (and don't sleep in) I drop in here. AND their T-shirts are super comfy. Everyone was welcoming and accommodating.

I love this place and I hated working out period but this place has changed my mind completely. I have met some great people and coaches. I joined a few months ago and I have already noticed the improvement in my mood and strength. I was shy at first too but they make you feel really welcoming even when teaching big classes. I look forward to my growth and excited for the many changes coming with being a member :)

I love Bulldog! I joined a little over a year ago after moving to the area. The workouts are by FAR better than I was used to coming from the city and I quickly saw strength improvements. The BEST part of this gym are all of the amazing friendships I have built in such a short amount of time, and it really feels like a second family every time I walk there. If you want an amazing workout with amazing company.....LOOK NO FURTHER!

I highly recommend this gym! I just completed the 6-week challenge. The work outs are fun and always different; they keep you wanting more. There is a meal plan that you must follow to help you meet your goals; I must say this was way tougher for me than the work outs. However, I managed to follow the plan and successfully lost 22lbs in 6 weeks, now weighing 149. This is healthy weight loss!!! There are several trainers watching to make sure your form is correct, to push you and motivate you. Other people working out here pushes you and motivates you as well. No matter what fitness level you are, this is the place for you. If you are up for the challenge, you will surely reach your goals.

Bulldog Bootcamp & Crossfit is off the chain. I took this challenge because I had trained and ran the Chicago marathon in 2016. My out come was good I finished. But I hurt my leg and was instructed to stay off it for six months. Well a year had passed and I was still having some pain so I decided that I need to do something to get back in shape. Being the tough cookie that I am I decided to take the six week crossfit challenge to get me back in shape and working out. I must say that it is truly a challenge but they provide you will everything you need to succeed. You get a meal plan, a coach and a gym full of people encouraging you and want to see you win. Wendy is on top of her game. She make sure you are aware of where you at and what you need to do weekly. I had my finial weigh-in this pass Saturday April 28th. I started at 183.6 and I ended at 162.6. 21 pounds down and I am excited about it. But one thing is for sure I could not have done it this fast, this healthy without Bulldog Bootcamp & Crossfit and its whole crew.
Thanks Wendy, Mel and the whole crew for pushing me and believing in me. More then anything Not allowing me to quit or give up.

The staff is great! They have groups workouts with multiple coaches to make sure everyone is doing the exercises correctly. They assist with modifications for those that are new to the gym and new to exercising (or just haven't in a while). I love the great workouts they have. Lots of variety.

Took the 6 week challenge. They provided me with a nutrition plan in addition to the fitness regemin. I have made great strides in the both health and fitness with Bulldog and couldn't be happier. It was the best decision I have made in a long time. I went from constantly feeling like garbage, tired and irritable all the time to feeling better, healthier and happier. I'm sleeping better and have made some healthier habits along the way. They gave me the tools I needed to jump start myself in the right direction. I am well on my way to my end game goals.
Edit 3/17/18 Lost over 10 lbs and over 7% body fat. This stuff works and I highly recommend Bulldog Bootcamp & Crossfit!

Great place. Staff and people who work out there are friendly. Staff shows you how all workouts can be scaled to meet your needs, but still be challenging. I've also found the people who work out there to be encouraging and will gladly offer help/advice if you ask.

BE CAREFUL GROUPONERS::I was impressed by the orientation class. I left bragging to all my friends how comfortable I was with the environment and the instructor. The instructor was a girl with the last name Debias. She is the office manager. She made everyone feel welcomed and encouraged. I went to my first real class and the story was completely different. It was obvious I was new, I am not thin if that was the first clue! But yet I was not approached by anyone. I spotted the girl, Debias, and approached her, but she was not the instructor , she was there to work out. She was incredibly friendly though! Anyways, she ended up showing me who the instructor was. I will cut to the point....I felt out of place, the instructor, Major, had no personality. He did not introduce himself, or ask me for my name. He seemed annoyed to have to make a customized workout for me. And after my work out I stood near him not knowing what to do next. After about 10 minutes I asked what to do and he said I could go home. Had I not asked him I would have continued to stand around looking like an idiot. So I worked out for a total of about 18 minutes, and no one said good bye to me or gave me any suggestions.
*I was really hoping to become a regular member at this club since its 3 minutes from my home and I am dedicated to becoming fit. However, I have no motivation to go back to feeling out of place and all alone. It also surprises me that they don't do any follow ups. If I managed a place like this and saw that I have a customer that paid for a month and didn't return after their first visit, I would definitely shoot them an email or call them to encourage them to return or find out why they haven't.
* my last disappointment- when I first contacted the 800 number the owner told me the student discount was about 102 a month with no commitment needed. When I asked the Manager I was informed that its 102 a month with a year commitment. :(
I would recommend this place to those who have already been doing crossfit. But I do not recommend it to someone who's at all out of shape. You will feel out of place and lonely. :(

To get into shape, to learn new exercises, to meet very nice people, all-around fantastic.
I did CrossFit there for about a year. Everyone there is very friendly and cool. If you need extra help, you get it. The folks live the 'fitness lifestyle' there so you get eating and diet tips, exercise advice, and they have a social aspect, too. The staff and the regulars go out for out-of-box events and dinner, drinks. Great group of people.
You'll end up pushing yourself harder in a class than you will alone, and that's a good thing. Give it a shot.
