I signed up for a free hot yoga session& I looked forward to trying it. when I arrived the door was locked, no one answered the phone. The area is dark and appears unsafe. Donβt waste your time.

Weirdest experience trying to take a class here for first time. I went there and the door was locked. I thought maybe I had the wrong door until a regular student came up and said that I had the correct door. I tried calling the phone number and they said it was Naperville Hot Yoga? So I thought I had the wrong number....The other student said she thought they may have moved locations. I am still super confused. I got my refund after emailing burr ridge hot yoga but with ZERO explanation of why I couldn't get in or why I wasted an hour of my day. It comes off to me as blatantly disrespectful and just plain rude.

If you are going to check this place out. DO NOT purchase the Groupon. When you contact them about it they will tell you that you need to send them an email and they will set you up when they can. Then they will complain that they donβt get paid when you use a Groupon. I severely dislike places that make you feel bad for buying a Groupon to check them out. If you donβt want people to buy Groupons donβt make your business available there. They lost a future customer with me.

Great studio - Great teachers - Great clientele. Very clean, very fun place to be, and the studio is beautiful. My wife, Laurie, can't say enough good things when she speaks of Burr Ridge Hot Yoga.
Hope more people find their way to this great Bikram studio. Very welcoming place.

I was a stocky overweight man when I found Bikram Yoga in March of 2010. Although I always thought yoga was for women, damn...... was I ever wrong. It's the hardest thing I do..... every time I do it.
After my first class, I was hooked, and I did it almost every day. In a month and a half, I lost 40lbs and I had more flexibility than I ever thought would be possible for me. After an intense year, my weight dropped another 60lbs! That's right, I'd lost a total of 100lbs in 12 months, and with my stocky frame and yoga, I was very muscular, only now it was defined, and it showed.
I kept up a good practice for 2 years, but then I went through a long divorce, I had bouts of depression, I didn't do Bikram as much as I should have, I was in a major car accident which left me with severe whiplash and some lower back pain, so I went to physical therapy for over a year in place of going to yoga.
Then with all the internet dating and no yoga, I gained 80lbs back, and I have many body aches too. I decided to go back to Bikram Yoga and I committed to try it every day for a month. After 3 - 90 minute classes, all of my body aches were gone, and when the month was up, I was 20lbs lighter.
But again, I stopped practicing because I sold my house and moved, along with some other issues, and my body started hurting again.
Now I have found "Burr Ridge Hot Yoga", formally "Bikram Yoga Burr Ridge", which does still teach the "Bikram" series. I signed up almost 3 weeks ago, my jeans are to big, and once again, after 3 classes, my body aches disappeared.
After my month of the intro special rate of $49 is up, my yearly membership begins, and I plan on sticking with it for a long time. I will get back to where I once was! What are you waiting for?

I had been practicing Bikram yoga for about a year when I moved back from the city to the suburbs and I was delighted to see that Bikram Yoga Burr Ridge was so close to my new home. I was very pleased with the variety of students and instructors at the studio and especially the cleanliness!
My yoga practice has improved tremendously under the guidance of owner, Midge, manager Diane and all of the instructors. I have also found Bikram Yoga Burr Ridge to be a wonderful refuge from the daily stresses and strains of life.
In fact, I enjoy my practice there so much, I spend a lot of time there and I don't feel like I am working out at all. Come see what BYBR is all about and I hope to see you in class!

I'm a complete newbie and feel welcome and comfortable every time I go - very important to me since I'm trying to integrate yoga into my life. My friends that are seasoned yogis are regulars and love the challenge each instructor brings. Studio cleanliness, impeccable.

The instruction at this studio is right on and serious which is great for an intense yogi like me. The amenities are fine and the prices are reasonable. The decorating of the place is all over the place (themes and color schemes)...so it is not as peaceful and centering for me as other studios. Still, a good value.
