It's not Crowded, which is nice; it's very spacious, room to breathe. The members are getting their workouts in, and their courteous; the staff was nice; it's a Gym, it's not dirty, it's and older gym, dumbbells only go up too a hundred which is not that big of a deal. Lots of machines, plenty of treadmills, Wracks, Benches, Barbells are in good shape. The environment was good, the members and staff, that got it 5⭐; the bathrooms were clean, they've got showers, lockers. It's a good gym.

I’ve been coming to this gym since 2019 and not once have the machines been updated. Not only that but it prides itself on being 24/7 but what’s the point if it’s unsafe at night? This is my 5th incident with a homeless person. And it’s not the regular homeless person that minds their business either, it’s the crazy, angry, violent ones. They have a boxing ring and new window decals but refuse to have a night attendant. They won’t place one until it’s too late and they’re getting sued because someone got attacked/raped.
Just last week I went into the message room, I was the only person there, or I assumed because my car was the only one on the lot and ofc there was someone sleeping in there. Didn’t report it because it was scary but im tired because it a problem that could easily be avoided if we had a night attendant.
Tonight, I got to the gym around 2:50ish am bc it’s my day off and I fell asleep and thought “oh what the hell, I’ll just go”, I get there and there’s lots of ppl, which is good because I don’t wanna be alone at 2am. I recognize the cars because it’s other people that go there most nights too, GREAT!

There was a person walking across the lot, fine whatever, I turn to park and as I’m turning this person turns to face me and has a crazed look in his eyes and STEPS CLOSER and reaches his arm out towards my passenger door. He wanted to open it! I just leave at that point. I watch him, watching me peel away. And ofc this person starts running towards the dark army alley for cover. I finish my turn and just keep going. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was heading towards the parked cars to try and open them.

It’s really gonna take someone getting hurt for them to do something about it. If they can afford a ring, decor, window decals and hella instructors, they can afford a night attendant.

Plus, all the money they make and can’t bother to leave towels and spray bottles for night customers.

Adam and his staff over at Crest Hill are AMAZING! They keep the gym clean and always make me feel welcome when coming to the gym. Customer service is hard to deal with especially when people are causing issues for them, but the staff handle it the best they can even when people do not follow the rules at the gym. I appreciate the whole staff at Crest Hill so much!

If I can give 0 stars I would. Such a terrible experience with manager Adam who was beyond rude at Crest hill location regarding a misunderstanding about age limit of children who can be present at this gym. Although interestingly, I’ve seen adults with underage children at this gym on numerous occasions who were not asked or told to leave so I didn’t think this was actually an issue or wasn’t enforced by any staff present. Yet he decided to rudely tell us we needed to leave. Leaving wasn’t the issue, but he was very unprofessional and simply should have left it at that. No, he decides to be very argumentative and despite us trying to be understanding about certain rules and were getting ready to leave he continued to harass and disrespect my sister stating she was being aggressive when she was trying to be understanding and leave without an issue yet he kept aggressively arguing with her. How do you treat anyone let alone customers like that who did not yell or be rude yet you, the manager have no self control at all or semblance of professionalism. Please people, just go somewhere else. This is not worth the headache.

I joined CFX a year ago Countryside location. Love late location always clean especially the bathrooms live the staff always friendly and cheerful. I moved to Romeoville 2 weeks ago and have been coming to CFX in Cresthill there no staff around every day I’m at the location the girls bathroom can tell you that no one has even touched it. Facility needs to be clean and tidy. If only the owner can do an inspection so they can see what I see. I give you a 3 star because you do have more variety of machines, bigger location and 24 hrs. Countryside is still my favorite even if it’s smaller I feel at home with everyone.

This facility is among one of the best that I have seen. There is a substantial amount of free weight equipment that is not accessible at many gyms. What this gym has that others do not is an option for 24/7 access. This is convenient for many as those who work midnights can stop in whenever they want if they have the membership. I had a couple guest passes and my friends were more interrogated instead of welcomed. Not a great way to get members. The manager I think, not sure, was really offensive, I think he was trying to sell training and providing diet tips. But to explain to potential clients they don’t know anything is again just a bad approach in how to sell that. The facility is nice, the staff is bad, not welcoming, clearly not trained in how to handle interactions. So glad Vasa Fitness is open so I can cancel this place. 👍🏽

PURE EXTORTION
I called to cancel my membership 6 years ago, and they refused to cancel via phone. I went into the gym in person with another person who was cancelling as well. I gave them my cancellation in writing. No further deduction was made from my bank account.

Now - 6 YEARS LATER - I received an email stating that I was going to be sent to collections for 4 months of dues that were unpaid from 2014. I called them, and they have no record of my cancellation. I was told that they have a new owner who is trying to recoup some of his recent losses due to Covid by going after old accounts. I explained what happened, but they say that they don't have any record of the cancellation - even though the person I went in with's account was cancelled, plus I was on auto-pay so why wouldn't they have kept charging me? IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE. I had to settle and pay them 20% of what they say was owed to ensure it wasn't going to collections, but it is not the money, it is the principle. This is a bad policy and a bad decision by a money-grubbing new owner. Pure EXTORTION.

Punctuality is important in a business. Having said that I have been going in at 5 a.m. for quite some time and it seems like the lady who opens the doors on weekdays has a nearly impossible time opening at 5a.m. I have watched her habitually show up anywhere from 2-10minutes late everyday. It's not just me waiting either, 10 regulars or so every morning wait for her to open the gym late every day. If you want an early a.m. gym, find a new one in my opinion.
