My 3 year old has been going for 6 months now. Coach Ashley runs an amazing, structured class. I fully anticipated complete chaos with a group of 20 preschoolers on gym equipment, but they run real drills and get amazing cooperation from the kiddos.

If you think your kid is too young to be able to make it all the way through a class, I'd challenge you to give this a try.

EDIT: it's been 4 years, and now she's 6 years old and a "Puma in Progress" with coach Kristen working towards the competitive team. I'm still as impressed today as when I wrote the original review. She's had several coaches, but they've ranged from great to extraordinary.

Love this place. I have interacted with Ian, and you can tell that he is passionate about the academy and all the kids there. Also, the amount of team members that they have really shows how strong of a culture they have developed and continue to provide. Highly recommend!

This place is magic. It doesn't matter how tired or upset my kids are, the moment they walk through that door they are happy, bouncy, and full of energy. And if using up the last of those energy reserves means they sleep early and well, so be it. We've been coming here for years and years, and plan to come here for many more to come.

I cannot say enough good things about CGA and their amazing staff! Ian allows my son to come train with their team ocassionally even though he competes for another gym (not in the Champaign area). This act shows the tremendous love of the sport and the support they provide for all of the men's gymnastics programs. I highly recommend trying CGA for all of your gymnastics needs. Two of our grandkids attend classes and thoroughly enjoy them. The teachers/staff are super nice and great with the kids. The facility has some awesome equipment, and the waiting area is big and has wifi.
