WHERE DOES THE TIME GO?!?
When you are in a class with Kathleen, you plank and it's OVER!! She's so serene, so soothing you dont even realize how hard you are pushing yourself!! Wow!! I took part in her 1.5 Flow followed by her 1 Flow...my left side sciatica has lessened and I feel taller and stronger!!
Thank you, Kathleen!!

Can’t say enough good things about this club. I started last July and it has been amazing. As a C-section mom who thought I’d have that “shelf”… I’m proud to say I have a strong core instead. Thanks to Pilates- I get to have my “me time” each morning and get back my mental clarity and strength.
Do the unlimited- it’s worth it for scheduling abilities and breaks down to the best deal. Get ready to work your abs 24-7 in small controlled movements. As a lover of barre workouts, this has a similar vibe without the pressure on your feet the whole time.
The club is clean, inviting and does cute themes and events for holidays. The women that teach and workout alongside you are inspiring (and so strong!)
The workouts are well planned out and cohesive. The instructors are phenomenal- shoutout to Kristin, Dawn Amy and Sara for being fun, even at 6am!

Back after doing the Pilates studio circuit in the Glen Ellyn / Wheaton area. Club Pilates is bar far, the best experience. Instructors are always engaged (and in time), Class offerings are perfect for working folks, and the variety keeps you engaged! I read on the reviews that the work out isn't tough - whether it's a 1.0 or 1.5- the class is what YOU make of it! If it's not hard, tell the instructors and they will help you figure it out! The app makes it super easy, the equipment is clean and in great condition!
I love all the instructors - a special shout out to Kristin though- as she has seen me on my journey to fitness and is a constant face at this location!
Cheers to CP for creating an inclusive environment to everyone - grateful to this locations and glad to be back

Love Pilates! This is my favorite location & my favorite instructors: Ty (most knowledgeable & challenging instructor), Catherine (super sweet & explains each movement well), and Kristin (also has really challenging classes in the best way). Everyone is friendly.

I started pilates three years ago and I never thought I would love it so much. Now I always say, "Even if I don't feel good or I have had a bad day, I always feel better after pilates.". That is the truth. Since I started, my body feels so much better, I am more flexible and have better balance, I have lost weight (also on an healthy diet) and I definitely am stronger. The teachers also really make the classes super fun too! Amy is one of my favorite teachers because her classes are diverse in that we hardly ever do the same thing, she is always very inspiring and happy. Her fabulous instruction and cheerful personality make her classes more fun and they feel less like work. I highly recommend Club Pilates as a great place to go and Amy as one of the best teachers there!! Go for a free intro class and try it out!!! Definitely worth a try even if you think you can't do pilates. Your body will surprise you.

Took my first 2.0 with Leora today at Club Pilates in Glen Ellyn, absolutely loved it! Class is challenging and beneficial, plus she has a great personality, welcoming, and such a fun style of teaching as well as her fashion style. I hope to take more of her classes in the future, especially her 2.0’s!

Adore this spot! Checked out one of their free intro classes and Ty was a great instructor and really taught us a lot about the history and after 30 minutes, I really felt the out. It was a great intro and really gave us a full-fledged experience on what Pilates is like on the reformer. Then the GM came to talk to us about membership options and let us know about a free class coming up and we found out about the passport through Club Pilates that includes global locations and I was thoroughly impressed and it’s not much more than the unlimited!!

The only reason I’m giving a two star rating is because I was able to be refunded for the two months I paid for (after emailing corporate twice).
If you meet the following, you won’t have a good experience at Club Pilates:
1.) have a full time job. Especially a 8-5, M-F job.
2.) have experience with exercising. If you consider yourself as a gym rat, you will not benefit from Club Pilates.
I’ve been a gym rat for about 10 years. I studied Kinesiology in college. I love working out. About three months ago I decided I wanted to try some new workouts. So I tried Pilates, and Hot yoga (the yoga is at a completely different establishment outside of club Pilates. It’s not related). My hot yoga membership challenged me in so many way and pushed me past what I could do myself at the gym/leading my own workout. I wish I could say the same for Pilates.
Now with Pilates, I was not challenged at all. The very least i expected was to be able to get my heart rate up in class and to be challenged. My heart for most of the classes never got above 120. That alone says a lot. For some reason the studio is freezing cold. How are you supposed to warm up your muscles when the studio is cold and the workout is not challenging at all. The workouts I create for myself at the gym, have my heart rate going from ~100-170bpm, and burning anywhere between 200-500 calories. At club Pilates I never burned more than 110 calories. The only two classes at club Pilates that sounded like they could be challenging enough was the flow 2, and cardio sculpt. I tried signing up for flow 2, I got in. Six minutes into class I was embarrassed and asked to leave for not having instructor approval. No one ever told me how I can obtain instructor approval. Not even the employee at the front desk could tell me how I can get instructor approval. I had to take time out of my work day to call and ask. That’s when I learned that only one specific teacher can give me that approval. So I managed to get into her class and ask her before class for approval. She said she’s not considering anyone for approval for flow 2 unless that have 30 classes of 1.5 classes under their belt. She then asked me what membership I had, I said I had the four credits a month membership. She told me well it’s going to take you a while to get those 30 classes. It most definitely is not going to take me a while to get those 30 classes under my belt because I’m quitting Pilates now!! I’m paying $109 a month only to do workouts that don’t challenge me or teach me anything new, and to deal with impossible class schedules.
The scheduling for these classes are ridiculous and that alone added so much stress to my life. At the very least, they should allow you to sign up for classes at other locations without having to have the unlimited membership. Several times I had to walk out of my office at work, and call club Pilates to get any kind of customer service. I’ve tried expressing my troubles with scheduling, they tried to help me sign up for classes by verbally offering me classes that all fell into my 8-5 M-F job. I’ve had to leave work early just to make it to a flow 1 or 1.5 class (that doesn’t challenge me) just so I can use up these credits. Don’t even get me started about the waiting lists. I’ve reached my wits end with the waiting lists. It should not be this difficult to use credits that I paid for. People shouldn’t have to book a month in advance.
I really wanted to like Pilates. I see all these videos of body builders trying Pilates and they can’t keep up with the workout. It boggles my mind, what classes are they taking?!? Because the classes I’ve been to are easy. Maybe Pilates is challenging enough for me, I might just need to find the right studio and instructor that will challenge me. But for now I’m done with Pilates.
If you’re reading these reviews, and you have a full time job, and are a gym rat, don’t bother with Pilates. Any benefit of Pilates you can get by lifting weights and going to hot yoga classes. I wouldn’t bother with Pilates, try hot yoga and stick with lifting.

This location had potential but ultimately it was a huge let down. The classes are impossible to get into and the customer service is horrible. Christina, the studio manager is never available and they don’t respond to calls or emails in a timely manner. Take your business elsewhere! I am currently trying to cancel my membership and they are trying to make me provide “proof” that I am moving in order to avoid getting charged for an additional month that I DON’T want ! It is not worth the hype or the money !

I like the classes and atmosphere here. It's beautiful but it's so hard to get a class here and when I try to get here early, the doors are locked and nobody is at the front to let me in, especially when it's freezing outside. I also don't get to keep the credits when classes are always full and it's hard for me to find a class that isn't full. If I had a flexible job, this place be worth it. Right now, it's not flexible to those who might work full time jobs that are far away.

When I was able to get into a class it was good but it was very difficult to schedule classes. Almost all classes have a waitlist (some are even 8+ people long) for two+ weeks out. I called and ask how I could utilize my 4 classes (which cost $100) a month because classes are almost booked all month and the credits do not roll over - the only solution they had was that I schedule a month out which to me is just way too much for a Pilates class.

I joined this location after moving to the glen Ellyn area recently. I've had quite a few health issues attributed to age. Used to really enjoy going to the other location because I feel incredibly uncomfortable here. Lee Ann is the trainer on some of the days and she makes some of the patrons feel unwelcome and uncomfortable as she keeps mentioning "old people". When one woman said "we're only as old as we feel," Lee Ann looked at her and said "you are old." Another issue is the Christmas decorations, including the Christmas tree which was put up on Nov 29, 2021- the same day as Hanukkah this year. As a person of Jewish heritage, I feel unwelcome and excluded in this overly Christian environment. I don't have an issue if there are a few Christmas decorations, but the way this Club Pilates is set up, it feels like they're shoving their faith into my face and I know I'm not the only one who feels put off by this. No point talking to the general manager- she is a scary woman and she swears like a drunken sailor. Terribly run, unwelcoming, rude customer service.

Really love this Club Pilates! Enjoy the instructors, front desk staff, and patrons! Lots of opportunities to challenge your strength, test your balance, and deepen your stretch! Reformers, springboards, chairs, Bosu balls, and TRX trainers offer a wide variety of exercise possibilities that the instructors use throughout various workouts! It's the highlight of my day when I come to class!

This is a fantastic studio with knowledgeable instructors and high quality well maintained equipment. The instructors are really amazing and passionate, they get to know members on an individual basis and always offer alternative exercises if required making most classes accessible to anyone. Me and my 14 year old son take classes along side female retirees and we still get a great workout. The friendly staff is encouraging and flexible with last minute cancelations and rescheduling. Pilates has by far been the most effective, easy, and fun exercise I've ever done, I wish I started it earlier in life. If you are thinking about it you should definitely try an intro class and sign up for a few months. You won't regret it.

Really poor and disappointing experience here compared to Schaumburg. I had been a member at Schaumburg for 6 mos. before moving to Wheaton . Schaumburg explained the "official" cancellation policy but also explained that things come up. They said if you call us by phone on the day of class, we'll cancel for you and give you your credit back. No games, no sob stories needed, just respect.
Schaumburg sees the bigger picture that if you care about your customers more than you care about your policies you will have happier customers who spend more and advocate for you. In the end you are more profitable.
Here at GE I had some teenager make me explain my excuse only to charge me for the class anyway (I called 3 hours prior to class time).
No thanks!! Owners like this ABSOLUTELY don't understand customer experience .
They will probably respond "but we saved a spot in class for you" but so did Schaumburg. The difference is because Schaumburg treats their clients well, there are a lot of them and there is always someone to swoop in and take your place.
This location wont have staying power with this culture
Discerning customers care most about how they are treated, not about Over zealous policies spouted out by teenagers.

If I could rate this Glen Ellyn location
higher than a 5, I definitely would. They are extremely customer focused. They have helped me return safely from a back (L2-5) injury. I have had a complicated journey which started 10 years ago after a bicycle accident. Over the years I tried a wide variety of treatments but was still limited in how much I could exercise due to constant muscular knots/tightness/pain in my back. As a former NCAA swimmer, marathon runner and Ironman triathlete, I enjoy working hard. Six months ago, I decided to try an intro class. The instructor paid close attention to proper form and this helped me realize that Pilates was my best chance at a full recovery. Today I feel much stronger and I am happy to say that Pilates has FINALLY given me freedom from back pain. As with anything in life, you get from the classes what you put into them. The classes have challenged me at multiple levels and the instructors do a great job of tailoring them towards ability levels. It is my dream to return to triathlon shape. So I will continue to work on core strength in hopes that I will make that a reality. Pilates of Glen Ellyn will continue to be a key component in that journey.

I am so excited about the strength and core control I’m gaining from classes at Club Pilates! And I’m having fun working out!
Until I started taking classes at Club Pilates I had never enjoyed exercising.
Due to some physical limitations, I’ve been restricted in what I’m able to do and what I should do, exercise-wise, almost my whole life, but the low-impact classes at Club Pilates are perfect for me! The instructors push me to work hard, while allowing me to modify activities according to my strength and ability. And there’s no judgement from anyone! I love the clean, airy studio, the variety of classes and the skilled instructors. Front desk staff are friendly and welcoming and the Club Pilates app makes it super easy to schedule classes and track my progress. Classes are fun and I always leave feeling great about my workout!

Club Pilates in Glen Ellyn has a wonderful staff and trainers. Everyone is welcoming and the trainers absolutely pay attention to each person. In smaller class sizes it’s almost as if you are having personalized training. Prior to joining Club Pilates, I had invested in two years in private training in classic reformer Pilates at another location due to having significant scoliosis and needing to build strength and learn proper technique to avoid injury. I was hesitant to join the club facility wondering if I might lose any strength or not have the same quality of training that I had had for two years. I am pleased to say it has been outstanding. The ease of scheduling classes and making changes if needed adds to the positive experience and enables me to attend much more frequently than when paying for expensive private training. I am surprised that I am even stronger in the few months that I’ve attended Club Pilates since ending private training. This is due to the variety in the class types and the ability to attend much more often.
