I’ve been on and off the workout wagon my whole adult life, losing motivation, and struggling to get myself back in. This gym has changed that for me! I am motivated, dedicated and have results. The workouts are planned for you, and the coaches are standing by to guide you. There are games/events/challenges that are available to sign up for, to challenge yourself and for friendly competition. It’s all workout levels, ages, etc. Everyone there is a friend. Better yet CKF family!

I’ve been a member of CKF McHenry for 7+ months and I can’t believe I’m just now getting around to leaving a review. Prior to joining CKF, I worked out from home for 20+ years because of my long work commute to save time. I recently moved to McHenry and decided it was time to join a gym and insert myself into a new community. I had seen several of my friends loving on this place on Facebook so I decided to give it a try. First workout in and I was hooked. At 47, I’ve never been in this great of shape. I have made so many new and supportive friends just like I had hoped. Everyone here wants everyone to win. The trainers are extremely dedicated to making sure you are safe, learning the right things and are having fun. Joining here was one of the best decisions I have ever made! I look forward to my workouts everyday! There is something different everyday, music is great and they challenge me in all the right ways.

I've been attending the McHenry location since their opening in May. I started working out for the first time last year at another gym in town that closed down unexpectedly. I am a bit "gym shy" so I was really bummed after I had gotten comfortable at the other gym. I spent the last few months trying to decide what I was going to do. I needed something close to home and in my budget but that still offered the type of workouts that I need. I came across Cross Kicks leading up to their grand opening and after speaking with one of the owners, who was very nice and informative, I decided to sign up! After spending the last 8 weeks attending the gym, I have been extremely pleased. The trainers are extremely nice and attentive. They will adjust the workouts to your skill level but also push you a little harder when they know you can do it. I also enjoy the "no class times", makes it much easier when you're schedule is a bit all over the place, you're not racing against the clock to show up on time. I am looking forward to seeing my results in the future with this gym! 5/5!

This is not your typical gym environment! I love coming here because it’s a one for all type of place. They create the daily workouts for you that are challenging enough for all levels. The coaching and guidance is done in a supportive,encouraging way. Where to begin! This gym is a total life changing gym! I started CKF back in Oct 2023 and right when I walked in everyone was super friendly. I have always been a shy/insecure person at a gym. I thought I would feel intimidated and nope Coach Devin was so friendly and helpful walked me through boxing rounds until I got comfortable. The encouragement in not only the coaches but the people working out makes you feel like you can do anything! I decided to join the “90 day challenge” and wow was that an experience! I set goals with Coach Devin in my head I thought there’s no way I would ever weigh lower than my pre baby weight. I started to see the scale go down, felt stronger as well, improved my eating habits! I was eating more than I would eat pre 90 day. On day 90 I met the goals and did that feel great!! This mother of 3 boys can do it! Can’t wait to start the next challenge! I can go on and on of how much I love working out at CKF! Highly recommend!

I’ve tried a variety of other places from standard gyms to classes, but there’s none that compare to CKF!
I love that the workouts are set up for you and there’s no set ‘class’ time. It’s a full body workout that really provides results.

If you’re looking for a good variety of workouts, supportive trainers and great company- this is the place to go. It’s like one big family - everyone wanting to support each other and have fun at the same time. No set class times which is nice too. They really put in a lot of effort to help their members meet their goals as well. They provide challenges, premade meals “on the go”, gear, etc. I believe your first class is free - so definitely take advantage of that and then never look back! 💪🏻

Great workout community. I started with their Max Burn challenge. In 8 weeks I lost 20lbs, my heart rate recovery went from not recovering in the allotted time to recovering in 1min 26sec. Also received an message from my IPhone watch that my resting heart rate was trending lower. Went from 70bps to 63bps on average. Highly recommend their program.

Went in for the intro on Saturday and everyone there was just amazing and so helpful. It's a fantastic setup and clearly will bring results if you stick to it. The only drawback and the reason I can't join is the hours - they are closed right in the middle of the day which is my only opportunity to run out to a gym. The price is also very high if you're on a tight budget.

This place is awesome! Everything you need, training, all the equipment, and helpful staff. It's a circuit training-type setup, and you can come in at any time and start the workouts they have set up for the day. The staff are all trainers, and you get the personal attention you need here while working out. LOVE THIS GYM!!! CKF McHenry really makes working out fun as you feel the positive vibe right when you walk in. It is led by Devin Sarno who is always close giving just the right amount of encouragement. First and foremost, Devin and team are incredible! They are extremely knowledgable and attentive. They are also very encouraging and motivating, which is huge because the workouts here are intense! This is not your standard gym and I mean that in the best of ways. You don’t have to worry about waiting for equipment. You don’t have to worry about the “gym bro” crowd, and their hours make it very easy to fit a session into your busy schedule.

New favorite gym. I like the structure of group workouts, and not needing to come up with my own workouts. However, I also like the flexibility of open gyms, being able to start workouts at any time, and having a big variety in workout equipment and types of exercises to do. This gym is the best of both worlds. Add in a friendly and knowledgeable staff and a fun environment, and I'm sold.

Side note: This seems like a great gym for beginners, but I've been an athlete my whole life and tried all kinds of different gyms. Cross Kicks is equally effective for people with any level of workout experience.
