This is our first year with Eich’s. My daughter is obsessed!!! So far, we love it. Amy is very helpful in getting the kiddos set up. I’m pleased to see the level of skill my daughter developed in such a short amount of time. This has helped her develop confidence to be able to try out for seventh grade volleyball at school.

I think this place is great for the kids. However, the facility is very outdated, and the parking situation is chaotic, especially on Saturdays when they pack back-to-back games. I believe this business has the potential to be much more, but without investing in a modern facility, I don’t see how they will remain relevant in the years to come—especially if a competitor builds a more modern facility.

Busy place. Must be doing pretty good. Most of the coaches seem knowledgeable and friendly. However, I feel 11 kids on each team is too much and limits their playing time during games which is mostly equal for all kids. Plus the third game is always shortened due to time restraints. Additionally with this many kids on each team there is not enough seating space available for parents during games. Parking lot is also overcrowded. I have also gone to the concession stand several times and there is no attendant to help you. I feel at this level (grade 7-9) the kids need Court time to learn and improve. Instead it seems they are cramming as many people in there as possible every hour and we end up paying for our kids to sit and watch half the time. Would like to see some changes...

My child went there for 3 seasons. It's good to get some court time in but that's about it. The coaches don't help any individual player improve, they just do drills. The owners team is every good player there is, and then there's the rest of the players. Not very fun for the other children playing against an all star team. They should try evening up the teams, so the children can enjoy their experience. There are better options for a child to learn in a fun atmosphere.

My family has been going to Eich’s for several years now. They have a great selection of sporting goods and local Plainfield high school gear. If they don’t have what you want for your high school gear, they will order it for you and customize it, they way you want.

We had our daughter play in one of their in-house volleyball leagues this summer and it was a great experience for her since she was just starting out with volleyball and had very little experience playing. It was a great way for her to start out playing volleyball.

Lots of positive things overall for Eich’s and why we continue to use them for our sporting needs.

Extremely disappointed to sloppy work and service this year. Orders were wrong, we had to pay for their mistakes and many were unhappy with logo sizing and product. I had to refund many of the families that ordered from me. Frustrating!!!!

Part of club volleyball for over 3 years. It’s amazing to see her growth throughout the years. She is part of a Team, volleyball is her 2nd family. The Coaches have always been supportive and encouraging, yet they challenge the girls At practices.

The gym smells, equipment is in bad shape...pads are falling off wall, batting cages are in brutal condition, there is almost ZERO room to watch the kids. The cost of the classes is high to average and the facilities aren't worth!! I will not return with my kids!!

Regarding the retail store:
We really liked the friendliness and help, the first time. The second and third time in we were disappointed. Ex. shopping for mouth guards, asked lots of questions (clearly new to the game) & bought 3 packages. The fit was off but never warned of the no return or exchange policy, even if unopened. Additionally we left a message for custom work, called back, waited some more but never heard from anyone. Disappointing.

My daughter has been playing volleyball at Eich's for the past 3 years. She started out playing in-house and now plays for the 12U club team. She has grown and blossomed as a player. The coaches and staff at Eich's have created, fostered, and developed her love and passion for the game. We love Eich's Sports Complex and all the programs they have to offer. I have been playing in-door pickle ball at Eich's for the last 4 years along with about 25 other players. We love it. They have 3 pball courts, and they are always up and waiting for us when it's time to play. The staff could not be more helpful. There are two other pball sport complexs in the area but we always chose to play at Eichs. Keep up the good work.

I have been going to the Eich's Sports Complex for the last 4-5 years. I Coach multiple sports and there facility is top notch. I use there batting cages, training room and gym for our off season baseball training. I was also able to book time with a resident pro to help my players to the next level. I rent the Gym for our Floor Hockey League and it is great, the upstairs bleachers are perfect for viewing our games. I enrolled my kids in the in house Volleyball League which is awesome they loved it, and improved immensely. So much so that they made the teams at the schools. I also hold our year end team parties they have a party for every need and they even help keep the kids focused and entertained. I know that the cost of such a facility is always an issue but I will say I have not found a better place at such a reasonable price anywhere or one that offers so much. Eich's is the complete package and I would highly recommend them to everyone. Coach Kevin

I orders a girls letterman coat on Nov. 13th. I was told that it would come in no later than Dec. 8th but they would call when it came in. Never heard from them so on Dec. 8th I called to find out the status. I was told by the manager that the order had not come in but it would be in in a next day or two and they would call when it did. THEY DID NOT CALL!!!!!

So Dec. 13th I go into the store and talk to the girl that helped me order the coat in Nov and she remembered me and went to look for the coat that it said they had in stock and was not sure why I was not called. It was not there. She contacted the manager and had him call me the next day on Sun the 14th. He told me that he would not be able to follow up till mon. the 15th but he would call me and tell me what the status was on it and follow up with an e-mail. Well guess what they did not call or e-mail on Mon.

So here it is tues the 16th and I call again the manager transferred me right away to the order person who did not pick up the phone and so I left a message. He also did not return my call so I called back. I talked to the manager who told me that the ordering manager just came down and told him to call me and let me know that I would not be getting the coat that I ordered NOVEMBER 13TH!!!!! I would not be in before Christmas. The ordering person could not even be bothered with calling me back to let me know himself. I finally left a message for the owner Tracy Eich and so far she has not returned my call either. I will never buy anything from them again. It pains me to go back and get the money that I put down on the coat back. I WILL NEVER USE THEM FOR ANYTHING EVERY AGAIN!!!!!!!!

If I could rate 0 out of 5 I would. I don't know how Eich's is still in business. They are unorganized, and their staff isn't very knowledgeable on the products they sell. The manager they have is a joke, she didn't take me seriously. I will make sure everyone I know, knows what a disaster Eich's in Plainfield is.
