This location is done so wrong! Some of the equipment is outdated, they never have enough paper towels to wipe down the equipment and the bathrooms are always nasty! The only reason I come to this location is because is down the street from my house but the most of the time I have to go to the location in Tinley Park because it’s much better there. This location needs major work and assistance from other location to help bring up to speed.

Started doing training sessions here, my trainer vonna is amazing! Very sweet woman. It is always clean, including the locker room. They have sanitation stations placed throughout the facility and they've had them prior to Covid. Equipment was removed to accommodate distancing, mask are required and they take your temperature upon entering. The staff is friendly. I can get in for a good workout and feel that they are adhering to the Covid safety standards. It's actually one of the only places still operating and it gives me something positive to do. It's definitely a stress reliever.

UPDATE 9/2022: The above review was based on management under the former manager, Paul's leadership. Since Paul left about a year and a half ago, this facility has had about five managers. Paul was a manager in this industry for many years and it showed. The five managers hired since have no experience in this industry and it shows as well. Clearly that's a problem and would naturally have a negative impact on the facility. Five managers in a year and a half says it all. It isn't as well kept as when it was under Paul, definitely not as clean. It seems when it comes to cleaning, refills of sanitation products, etc., the overall standard is to do just enough to get by and barely that. They have been out of hand sanitizer for at least a couple of months. The women's bathroom has four sinks and three of the soap dispensers had been empty for almost a week. Between the locker room and bathroom, there are three paper towel dispenses and two the three were empty. It always something with this facility. I'm told that cleaning is done daily, but rarely do you see a cleaning person. These are basic things that shouldn't be a problem for any public facility. I am looking for another club now. It's disappointing because it was a nice facility.

I have been going to this gym for over a year and have met so many amazing people but today your employee Kendall was threatening me with a taser as I was leaving the building. This is every embarrassing for the business. I do advise we consider our staff members especially when it becomes necessary for police to be contacted. Not a good look for everyone entering and exiting the facility. If we are going to continue to allow this behavior let me know so I can cancel my membership. :)

PLEASE BEWARE! These guys are fraudulent! They signed me up for a personal training session for 12 months contract with an option to opt-out in the first 30 days without any penalties. A VERY friendly sales guy attended to me and signed me up after receiving a verbal approval from his so-called manager in my presence. This approval was given in lieu of my negotiation for 2-3 months contract, which according to them, was way higher. So, I signed up based on the 30 days opt-out option. I asked the sales guy why it wasn’t stated on the contract, and he said it was not the norm/standard, but they would honor it and he will also be around anytime to attend to me. I didn’t read much into it since his manager gave him the approval in my presence, and he also seemed like a honest guy.
Around 3 weeks after signing up, I told them I would like to opt-out before 30 days elapsed, they passed me round from one person to another until 30 days passed. When I complained to a stone-faced guy who also introduced himself as manager, he told me he doesn't know the whereabout of the sales guy that signed me up, and it wasn't stated in the contract. He mocked me to my face. Meanwhile, the friendly sales guy who signed me up had suddenly vanished into thin air. I really feel duped and still fighting my way out of this scam. When I think about it all, it appears, the sales guy's friendliness was just a ploy to get people to sign up on terms they wouldn't honor, then get him redeployed to other locations to do the same. The love I once I had for this gym that I thought would be my all-time work-out place has faded away. Please learn from this and avoid this place!
I will make sure I post this on their reviews for other locations, so others don’t fall prey of same situation. Also, once I find a better gym in the neighborhood, I will drop the name here for others that have been scammed at Esporta.

Overall it’s a typical gym, clean, everyone is friendly. However, the customer service/assistance is trash. No problems are ever resolved regardless of who you speak to about it. Gotta give these guys a huge thumbs up. They do a real good job keeping the gym clean and making sure the weights are picked up. Its sad that there are club members who don't practice proper gym etiquette and expect someone else to put the weights back for them. It's such a safety hazard. If they we're to get injured they would be the first ones trying to sue. Management here refuses to be negligible and keep everything in top notch condition.

The gym in itself is amazing! Great variety of equipment, great atmosphere to work out in. However the customer service in the morning is horrible! I’ve been paying for my membership for about 6 to 7 months now and I’m finally attending the gym regularly. I left a lock on my locker in the ladies locker room I came in this morning on 11/20/19 to find my lock was not there. I told the young lady & the man that was at the front desk. He responds; oh yeah that was me. I cut it off. I said my lock was there all last week and it wasn’t removed he said I was on vacation I cut locks off every morning. Neither of them were apologetic about the situation in fact they were as a matter of fact you can’t have a lock. I wasn’t aware, seeing that wasn’t explained to me when signing up for my membership and there are NO SIGNS posted in the locker room stating no locks on lockers. I’m calling later today to speak with a manager because I love the gym but the customer service however is completely unacceptable!!!!

My first experience at this location was less than pleasant ONLY because of Danielle (front desk receptionist). She did not greet me upon entering (not a big deal).. Long and short, after entering my information in the system, she snuck a picture of me. When I asked if I needed a picture to complete registration, she advised I did not. Shortly thereafter, I asked another employee if photos are required and when told yes, I politely walked up to Danielle and asked if she had taken a picture. She said "yes"; so I asked why she took my picture without my permission. She blatantly lied and replied "I told you I was about to take your picture." After going back and forth with her, I told her she's not a nice person, advised I am going to write a review, contact her manager Bradley and contact Corporate. She nastily replied: "Thank you!"...
