Fitness Werx takes a holistic approach to changing and healing the body starting with treatment of injuries and imbalances by going to the source of pain and tightness using Muscle Activation Techniques. For those wanting to exercise (strength/weight loss/health), once the body is ready, we use a less-is-more approach to stimulating the body's adaptation response with an appropriate level of stress to induce the changes that not only meet your goals but fit within your needs (body/age/tolerance). Whether you come to heal from an injury (MAT/MATRx) or want to get back to exercise as a healthy way to restore health we also help you to address the metal and emotional components because the outside is always a reflection of what we hold inside!

I find many times I need a deeper healing, than a massage. As we grow older, I feel the desire to be in perfect alignment. I have an active lifestyle where I use all different muscle groups.
I discovered MAT about 10 years ago and now Iβm hooked.
Many times, in life you get more than you bargained for. If you get the chance to meet Neil Hansen, you will understand my drift. He always shares from the depths of his soul about the spiritual aspect as to what the pain means, or your mind set can release. This is his way of sharing the meaning of the symptom or to hear a different twist on how his heart and soul has evolved and what works in his perspective.

I have been working out with Lewis for a couple of years now and I feel great. I am 74 and have arthritis and Lewis keeps me moving. The exercises are customized to me and as challenging as I want to do them. It is a great place to work out in.
