I'm 64 years old and never joined a pilates class. I had aches and pains all over so I joined Flex Move when they opened. Andrea and the instructors changed my life! I don't have those aches and pains anymore plus I'm in the best shape I've ever been. Joining Flex Move is an investment in my health. It’s the best decision I've ever made!

Great class, Mobility and Stretch. First time coming and it was a great workout with strengthening and stretching various parts of the body. She kept the class moving at a pretty good pace. I thought I was in fairly good shape, but apparently not. I’ll be back for more and looking forward to seeing my ability improve. I will also try different classes. So happy this is walking distance to my house!

This class is amazing and it’s because of the instructor, Taylor! Taylor is a the total package! She is a professional, que’s the class beautifully, never teaches the routine in the 5 times I have taken her class, begins and ends on time, offers variations on each move to accommodate all levels of experience. I cannot say enough good things about this class, Taylor and the Studio in general. Do not hesitate to join this studio!!

I’ve loved every one of FLX’s classes, both at the reformer studio on Oakton and at their second lovely studio on Brown. There’s a nice variety of classes that can accommodate all skill levels. The instructors have all been fantastic . They’re skilled AND warm and welcoming. I plan to attend many more classes!

I was really disappointed with how this studio handled my situation. I had two back-to-back classes booked (Reformer + Barre) but woke up sick the morning of. I messaged the owner to see if I could reschedule and was told I’d still be charged a $25 cancellation fee per class — on top of the class cost — or that I could just come in with a mask on??? I understand having policies, but encouraging someone who’s sick to still attend just feels really inconsiderate to other clients and instructors. Other than this instance, I actually really enjoyed the classes!

I have been a doing Pilates reformer at Andrea’s Pilates Experience studio for almost 2 years. I started doing Barre and Strength classes here 10 months ago. Every instructor is amazing. I have continued to get physically stronger and more flexible. The community is so positive and uplifting. If you’re just starting out on your fitness journey or if you have a lot of exercise experience you will love this place!

I absolutely adore FLX move and I’ve only been going for a week. Andrea and Taylor were so accommodating when there was a ClassPass problem and still went ahead and gave me a discounted private class for the trouble. I’ve gone to a few group sessions and leave feeling stronger every time!

I’ve been taking Barre Burn at FLX move Brown St for weeks now, and it’s literally my favorite workout! Taylor is honestly one of the best intructors I’ve ever had! She pushes me to go a little further while making sure my form is on point. The students are so friendly and it makes every class feel like we’re all in it together. After every barre burn class, I always leave feeling energized and strong.
If you’re looking for a class that makes you sweat, smile, and feel like yourself, this is it!

Loved Grace, she’s fun, inspiring, encouraging (and gorgeous!) and the space was awesome. We were welcomed as if we had been coming for years, front desk person (wish I got her name!) was a perfect entry point for a new-be and made us feel VERY comfortable. Would definitely go back!

I've visited over 20 different fitness studios in the Chicagoland area and I can easily say that FLX Move is the most welcoming and encouraging one I've been to! The owner Andrea and all the instructors have done a great job in building a strong sense of community here and you always leave class feeling energized, empowered...and wonderfully sore, especially after Barre Burn! :) If you're looking for a great workout taught by knowledgeable instructors alongside supportive company - this is your place!!

I recently attended my third FLX Mobility and Stretch Class with Andrea. Pilates is all new to me so I did not know what to expect. I met with Andrea and an assessment was completed. It was suggested that I try the FLX Mobility and Stretch Class. This class targets all of the areas I need to work on and I feel that I am already making progress. Andrea is an amazing instructor and she is there to help you every step of the way to achieve your goals. My classmates are also amazing!

Andrea and the the team at FLX are incredible at identifying any pain points and helping you stretch out for increased mobility. I've tried each of the class types and even the stretch class is a great, active workout. I feel more limber and I don't wake up achey. Andrea is great at making sure each person is doing every exercise correctly to prevent injury and get the most out of the workout, which is a huge difference I noticed between FLX and other studios/gyms I've been to.
