It took a long time to find my spot, but this place feels like home. The people here are encouraging of other athletes and the coaches give you the attention you need … even if you’re not in need. Tom, Bailey, and Molly are all expert coaches. I feel well watched and my needs are being met by all three. The programming is done in a way that can be easily scaled to my level. I know I’m making gains and look forward to increased strength and mobility. I’m really enjoying my time at Fox River Strength and Conditioning.

Thanks to this gym I've never felt stronger! The workouts push me to be the best I can be, but if something is too hard I can always scale it down to something that suits me better. The coaches are so helpful and there for you cheering you on. Everyone I've met there has been so kind to me, I feel like a part of the gym family. Very happy with the results and the facility! It's just so much fun!

What started as a one-time workout, turned into a week, turned into a month, and then turned into 8 months of taking 4-6 classes a week and getting into some of the best shape I’ve been in since my early twenties.
Whether you are a novice, who is doubtful if CrossFit really is for you (like I was), or an advanced athlete, FRSC will be a great home for you. The owner Tom does a great job with his programming and provides scales so that all athletes can thrive. Shout out to Bailey who is an excellent coach, human, and athlete. The gym facility is awesome, very well equipped, and the cleanest CF gym I’ve ever seen. The culture is inclusive, supportive, and fun, with just the right level of competitiveness (if you’re looking for that).
Overall, highly recommend this gym and sad it’s not located closer to where I live.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that this place is saving me. A gym like this -- filled with some incredibly strong humans -- could be intimidating, but instead is inclusive and filled with encouragement, patience and always-appropriate challenge. THE BEST WAY TO WORKOUT!
Tom, Bailey and Molly are all amazing coaches that want to help you succeed and achieve your goals. Since I’ve started I’ve gained a ton of strength. I went from never lifting a barbell, to setting new PRs. Crossfit is an amazing way to get in shape, lose fat, gain muscle all while keeping you challenged on a day to day basis. Another huge plus is the close knit community inside FRSC. I’m forever grateful to be part of this amazing place!

Building strength has been a priority for me as a woman, but especially now as I’m hitting middle age. When my gym closed in the fall, I began looking for a new “home.” I’ve been so pleased with what I’ve found at FRSC. The community was immediately welcoming. And I felt inspired by the dedication and strength of the other members. The programming is great – smart, challenging, yet offers scaling. The coaches in the morning, both Tom and Bailey, are highly skilled and encouraging. Additionally, I’ve appreciated the extra strength programming and the InBody analysis to measure baseline fitness and track progress. I’m excited about the progress I’ve made and continue to feel supported to reach higher fitness goals than I thought I could.

After 9 years the owner of my “go to” Fox Valley CrossFit facility closed. Every week for 9 years I had my routine with a great group of people. I was really challenged on what to do. A good friend recommended FRSC so I looked into it and decided to give it a shot. What a great decision! The regulars there welcomed me and made me comfortable. The workouts are organized and clearly walked through. The coaching and help is constructive and always in line with my capabilities. Thank you Tom for creating a supportive, growth focused community. My routine is back!

Always playing sad music not sure who’s in control of it. We need upbeat music to get us in the workout mood. Also, a staff member almost ran my boyfriend and I over with her car. Definitely need to have an inservice about being carful in the parking lot.

When our coaches say any workout or move can be adapted, they mean it and they stand by it! Professional, very knowledgeable, and always supportive, no matter what limitations or restrictions are in play. They take excellent care of us. I have always felt safe here -- clean, spacious, plenty of equipment, terrific all-ages community. After decades in commercial gyms, I'm very happy at FRSC, and I wish I'd joined sooner.

Best gym in the area! I was nervous going to a CrossFit gym for the first time, as I had only gone to the traditional "swipe the card" type gyms. Tom and everyone at the gym were very welcoming and encouraging. The workouts are fun, challenging, and 100% suitable for anyone and everyone. Tom focuses on functional movements and correct form helping you improve strength, endurance, and range of motion. The best part is the community. Everyone has different skill levels and abilities, making it hard for some to workout together. But here, no matter what your experience level is, everyone does the same workout, but the workouts are tailored to your individual skill level. This gives the sense of community and togetherness, but still allowing for all skill levels. I would recommend to anyone!

I have been a member for 3 years and look forward to many more years. FRSC is more than just a “gym”. When I tell people I do CrossFit their first reaction is “I could never do that” and, my answer is “that’s the beauty of CrossFit everything can be scaled so yes you can”.
I admit being intimidated when I first joined, but I’m so happy I had. Once you get over the initial fear and just try it you won’t regret it. Owner/Coach Tom programs the workouts so you don’t have to think of a game plan. He always starts the class with a warm up session tailored to the specific workout of the day. Strong focus on form and technique so you stay injury free. The community is supportive and friendly. The gym is very clean and has plenty of space. If you’re looking to turn up your workouts or want to try it for the first time I highly recommend you join us here at FRSC 🦊

I’ve tried a handful of gyms in the area but Fox River Strength & Conditioning is easily my favorite. The gym is huge and well maintained. The community is my favorite part. You have everyone from almost every walk of life and everyone is so supportive and welcoming. It’s also one of the only gyms in the area that follows its own programming. Tom, the owner of the affiliate, does the programming and is very knowledgeable about progressive overload and corrective exercise. I’ve been training my entire life but since starting at FRSC 6 months ago I’ve progressed SO much! CrossFit can be a bit intimidating but I promise you’ll love it! The first week is free and the first month is discounted so you can try it out.

Best gym I’ve been a part of! The facility is very spacious and organized/clean which makes working out in a group easy. I was nervous going into my first class, but Tom and the community made me feel welcomed and comfortable working out. Tom is very knowledgeable and can help any member with technique, workout scales, or correctional exercises. Now two years later of being a member of the gym, I’ve made lifelong friends and have improved my health. If you want to feel healthier, exercise with friends, and get stronger then FRSC is the place for you!

Looking to get in shape? Have you tried 20x before? When you went to the gym, did you mostly wander around? This box could be a great fit for you. Group workout = good peer influence to push you (if they can do it, so can I); Coached workout = no more coming up with plans on your own; Programmed workout = variety, intentionality; Friends = accountability & fun. I tried other gyms off and on (mostly off) for 20 years with little lasting success. I started CrossFit at this box 12 years ago - and am still here 4-5 days most weeks. It stuck. Try it.

Drop in friendly. Tom is very responsive to emails. He's also a very attentive coach without being a helicopter. Gym is large and well laid-out, as well as being exceptionally clean. 3 different flooring sections for different skills was a very unique and cool feature. Very friendly members. Great signage outside to help you find them if it's your first visit!

A chose Fox River strength of conditichin because I was tired of going to the gym and having people looking at me questioning me on if I know how to use the machines or not or tell me I'm not doing it the right way from my initial consultation with Nancy I felt very comfortable. She walked me through the steps and what they do and what they are about. I was nervous my 1st class but the coaches are phenomenal they scale stuff down For you and don't try to push you beyond your limits. But push you just enough so you get a great workout

Three months in, I'm the fittest I've ever been and the FSRC community has me motivated and engaged!
I'm 46 and had never had any regular exercise regimen until starting CrossFit at North Aurora's FSRC. The patient coaches guided me through the basic motions, and trained me into the right habits that keep me from injury while building up my strength. They scale the workouts down to a level I can always do and build from.
Even though I'd never lifted a barbell before, now I can.
It's fun, challenging and rewarding!
Each class begins with a warmup addressing the exact muscles we'll be focusing on during our workout. The workouts are simple movements with time limits that turn hard work into a game. We all sweat through it together, blowing past whatever limits we thought we had, and end with fist bumps and high fives.
The community has the perfect blend of kindness, camaraderie and humor.
I've been welcomed to the team and feel like I'm part of the club!

I started individual coaching sessions with Blake about 10 weeks ago. After my hip replacement my affected leg was weaker than my other leg. I am bicycle training and 50/50 balance is important. I have noticed significant strength improvements due to the training. Also I have significantly less knee pain due to the training. I have been through multiple courses of physical therapy and none were as effective as this training.

Great facility. Friendly culture. Flexible schedule. Been an enjoyable place to workout for over 7 years. What I really enjoy about the experience is the variety of styles incorporated within their programming. You know it will be tough and yet you’re quickly addicted and wanting more because the results are legitimate.

Great people! Blake is an awesome Personal Trainer, one-on-one. He makes work-outs fun and mixes things up. He will work with you, where you’re at, assessing flexibility and strength. FVSC has a great philosophy, using modified exercises to safely get you to your goals while reducing your risk of injury.

FRSC is taking the right precautions to make everybody feel safe here. They take everybody's temp before class, everybody has their own area to workout in (more than 6ft from others), and their own equipment to use for the class. They also have cleaner available at every station to wipe down all the equipment that was used before leaving.
The coaches here are very knowledgeable in the sport and they push you to be the best version of yourself. The workouts are great, the people are great, and you always leave feeling great! Love it here.

Can’t say enough about this gym or (box) I was a type 2 diabetic my blood sugar was over 400 I was always tired had little mobility and my doctor said that if I didn’t do something I’d be in real trouble and that I was for all intensive purposes in trouble already .
I had always just gone to a conventional gym and kind of did my own thing with little to no results, so I looked around and found FRSC and thought I would give CrossFit a try. I have to say first of all they are a community and every coach and member that I met we’re super supportive and always there to help me everyone there wants you to succeed.
I started training with Zack he really knows his stuff and was patient with someone who had never done anything like that before, he taught me form, posture, correct movements and flexibility, all of which I’m still learning, I gained stamina and strength along with more energy and really started to feel good again.
Now that I have been with them for a few months with a lot of work I feel much better my blood sugar is under 100, I’m eating better and have a new lease on life. I owe it all to FRSC and would encourage anyone who is looking to get fit, get better, or just do more to give them a try you won’t be disappointed.

I have been attending Fox River Strength and Conditioning for about a year. The coaches are terrific and each class helps you become a better version of yourself. An awesome gym. I started crossfit 2 years ago with a year break in between of stopping due to moving. I started going to FRSC 3 months ago and have been breaking and setting amazing personal records.
