My kids don't go to this location, but my niece does. My SIL and BIL decided to host my niece's third birthday here.

We misread the time frame and arrived about an hour before we should have. We had everything with us: the cake, decorations, etc.

They let us know that we were too early but could take some of the stuff (like the cake so it wouldn't melt) until it was time.

While it was our mistake the team did EVERYTHING and ANYTHING to still accommodate us to the best of their ability. The hustled with setting up tables and decorations, the encouraged the folks that finished a class to not linger, and reassured us they had it covered.

We were able to get in there 30 minutes before the actual start time and get our stuff set up.

Communication was on point. Everyone was soooo friendly and helpful. I was beyond impressed with the entire staff. Things could have gotten ugly, but not once was there any condescension or impoliteness towards us for the screw up.

The party was wonderful. The kids swam. Ate pizza. Just completely enjoyed themselves.

If they're even half as awesome in classes, etc: you're in good hands, 100%.

We recently came to Goldfish and my son loves it so far! The front desk has been AMAZING to work with and I cannot compliment them enough!!!! We had multiple scheduling issues because of our busy schedules and we were able to find something that works for us as a family! We’ve been very happy here with 2 girls (5, 7) making progress and learning skills. We bring our youngest (3) to family swim with his sisters. Our child has attended Goldfish swim school for over 6 years, and has gone from a splashing toddler to a very strong and confident swimmer, mastering nearly all of the strokes and he's only 8 years old! The teachers are patient and caring, taking the time to get to know each student so they can learn at their own pace, as well as gently teaching focus and caring for one another. We have had an excellent experience here. My child was afraid to swim. We were assigned Coach Brooke. What an amazing instructor! She meets the kids at their level, and challenges them comfortably. We have seen great improvements and my daughter looks forward to seeing her every week. We truly appreciate her. She is a lovely person and we are lucky to have been assigned to her.

Additionally, I have witnessed the rest of the staff be incredibly caring and kind with the students. Some kids really struggle with the fear of water. I was so impressed with how they handled the situation. Just the upmost respect and patience was demonstrated.

It's been a while since I have taken lessons here as a small child but my experience has been great here! The staff are all friendly and bubbly, which helps calms the nerves of children. Great lessons so far! My son loves the instructor, Maddie, who is absolutely made to work with children, and he's making lots of progress after only a month! Class is expensive but high quality. I'm hoping with his quick progress we won't need lessons for long. Facility is clean and really well set up- love the blow drying station and tons of changing rooms. Scheduling is easy and flexible. I feel like my son is very safe between the swim instructor, manager, and life guard all closely watching at all times.

Friendly and clean pool. I have used Goldfish (other locations) for my older kids but this one is the best. My little guy loves coming to lessons and cannot wait to get in the pool. It is nice to have plenty of space to change in and out of the swim suits, dry off, and even blow dry your hair. It might be -9° outside but the pool is nice and warm. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to get swim lessons started for your kids.

My son came to goldfish scared of the water after an incident at the public pool when he was 1. While teaching him the skills to swim, the instructor at Goldfish helped with his confidence in and out of the water. We absolutely love Goldfish! My daughter has been attending this location since she was about 8 months old. They were patient and great with her as she has transitioned through different levels.

We did take a little break because she wasn’t progressing as much as I would like but we started attending lessons again a couple months ago and my daughter has already moved up and is swimming on her own (which is literally the coolest thing ever - shout out to Miss Elizabeth).

We truly loved our experience at the St. Charles Goldfish. The staff could not have been warmer and kinder. The have extensive knowledge of child development and swimming technicalities. Both kids (3 & 5) built strong foundational skills and tremendous confidence over the course of our year and a half there. The coaches knew every child by name and provided very specific and consistent feedback to both the children and the families at every lesson. Their talk became my children’s inner talk, as they gave themselves and each other specific pointers in the bath or at the pool. They had incredible consistency with staff, so the kids really connected with their coaches. Highly, highly recommend the Jump Start clinics as well!

May be a wonderful place, but I wouldn't know. I recently moved to the area and wanted my children to continue their swim lessons, so I started with Goldfish as I had heard good things from friends at other locations. I've called 6 times (at different hours of the day, all within operating hours). Not once was the phone answered. Not once was my message returned. Moving on.

Update...
Almost a year later my wife signed our son up. The instructors are great! They are really good with my toddler who gives them a run for their money. Changing my initial review from one star to four stars. Still taking the one because they made it so difficult for our children to have started originally. Otherwise, no complaints and very happy.

We had the BEST experience with Goldfish Swim School! The instructors were absolutley incredible and my children looked forward to their classes each week! They were very flexbile and understanding if we ever needed to do a makeup lesson and always made time for us. My children could swim the length of the pool in just a short time, which is incredible as they didn't know how to swim AT ALL when they first started. I had a bad experience with the stuff in there, I went on a Monday with my daughter the first class it was gonna be free, then her next classes was gonna be on Wednesdays at 6:30 and I show up on Wednesday at 6:30 and there is no class for my daughter age, then I come back home, I got a call on Saturday saying I have a balance of $100 and I ask why and they said the classes your daughter as take and a $25 membership so I said no she has only take one class and the lady is all confused and ended up saying whenever you come to the class please come to the front desk and we can fixed, so I call today to see what’s going on and the lady is all confused saying ok then is only $25 for the first class even I mention like 4 times that I was told that first class it was free, I just don’t have time for all that tbh, they need to be more organized.
