My daughter is an active participant and has taken Taekwondo classes. If I could give 100 stars I would. Master Kim and lessons are phenomenal and amazing. This school encourages self confidence, honor, respect for others, discipline. My daughter is running to her Taekwondo classes, she became stronger, more active and her smile is bigger when she attending classes.

My son (7) has been attending HK TaeKwonDo for about 5 months and has come a long way from when he first started. He's not only improved in TaeKwonDo but has also became a little more confident and self disciplined. Master Kim has been such an amazing instructor and caters to each students needs. He is very knowledgeable and although he may seem strict at times, he only means well. We also enjoy having Master Choi as an instructor. She comes in a few times a week to assist master Kim.

So if you're looking for a place to enroll your child in for martial arts, go and check out Master Kim at HK. You won't be disappointed!

My daughter (6) and son (4) have been coming here for about a month now. They love the classes and look forward to coming every single time. Master Kim is very nice, caring, funny and makes every class fun for all the kids. You can tell he loves all his students and puts a lot of his time, passion, and dedication in teaching. Not only does he teach techniques, but he also teaches the kids about respect and discipline. My kids get great exercise and have also gained so much confidence with the classes. Not to forget, Master Choi is wonderful with all the students and my kids love her as well. We’re so happy and thankful we found this school. Thank you for all you do, Master Kim and Master Choi!!!

My 3.5-year-old daughter has been attending taekwondo classes with Master Kim for the past few weeks, and I am so impressed with the progress she has made. Not only has she become more physically active, but she is also learning important life skills such as listening and discipline.

The classes are designed to be age-appropriate and the master is amazing with kids. He is patient, kind, and knows exactly how to engage and motivate the children. My daughter loves going to class and always comes back with a huge smile on her face.

Overall, I would highly recommend Hankook Taekwondo to any parent looking for a fun and effective way to teach their child important life skills. The master is fantastic and the program is top-notch. We also love how it’s a part of Rolling Meadows. We hope he’s here to stay for years to come.

This place is very helpful! It teaches very basic taekwondo skills and helps each students. The teacher is very nice and funny, very recommended taekwondo place. If you have any more questions to ask you can always talk to the teacher since he is very polite! My child says she enjoys the place alot and always wants to come to this place and learn more taekwondo! Lol!

My two kids were Master Kim's students before we had to move away. My kids have gone to be National Champions and even make the U.S. National Team. Master Kim had trained my kids and instilled in them the fundamentals they needed to have a strong foundation to be successful both academically at school and in Taekwondo competitions. Absolutely a great Master, teacher, and even better person. If you're in the area and looking for a place, then you're lucky to have Master Kim nearby. If you're not in the area but can afford to make the trip, then I tell you to make that trip, it'll be worth it.
