Sam is the fitness coach that I need in my life. Attending sessions over Zoom helps keep me accountable to show up and I am always greeted by her friendly face. Before I started working with Sam, I didn’t consider myself an active person. Frankly, the last time I was enrolled in a sport, in 8th grade track, I fell over while doing the hurdles…during a meet…in both the 100 m and 200 m events. So, I have found that the shame-free culture she fosters in sessions works well for me. And now, five months later, I sometimes run up the stairs two at a time to my fourth floor walk up. Without incident.

Sam is a thoughtful and empowering trainer who knows how to motivate her clients to believe in their abilities and get stronger. After I had my son, I was looking for a trainer who could help me rebuild my core and improve my balance: she created an individualized approach that met me where I was and helped me work towards my goals. Sam is energetic, funny, and encouraging — the only person I know who can motivate me to do mountain climbers at 7 AM on a workday. I 1000% recommend Sam to help anyone to meet their fitness goals.

I originally started with Sam with the nutrition focus in mind because my pandemic snacking was out of control, but I quickly grew to love the workouts too.
Sam is able to encourage and motivate better than anyone I know. She knows her clients' strengths and makes it so easy to push yourself to do better and improve while still having fun.
I am amazed at the progress I have made (especially with push-ups!) in the time that I have been working with Sam at ie Fitness!

One of the best fitness decisions I’ve ever made has been building muscle and getting toned with Sam. She makes sure you stay on your goals and is honest and friendly with feedback about how to improve. Wasn’t that long ago that the simplest things would wear me out. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Too bad I can only give five stars, because Sam is a 6/5 trainer. Sessions are tailored to my goals, she checks in on how the session went and takes feedback into account for future sessions. Since starting with Sam, I've gotten stronger, more flexible and stable, and generally increased my confidence in my own body.

Sam is doing such incredible things with ieFitness. I was diagnosed just a year ago with critically high blood pressure. I was told by my doctor that I need to lose weight and start taking BP Medication that I would most likely never stop taking. Sam took the time to talk me through nutrition, my eating habits, and my goals. That, coupled with training with her and taking some of her excellent Strong Nation classes, led me to better health. I dropped 40lbs, I learned how to listen to my body, and my doctor told me to stop taking half of my originally prescribed medication. With Sam, it's not about creating a certain type of body, it's about creating healthy bodies and giving you the tools to create lasting change for your health and wellness!

This is worth the investment! My mental health benefits as much as my physical health does from spending a couple of hours a week doing something that is just for me. As a working parent, it’s so difficult to prioritize self care, particularly when there’s commute time to the gym to factor into the equation. One of the great things about zoom training with Sam is how convenient it is to reap all of the benefits of working out with a knowledgeable trainer offering personalized programming and real time encouragement and feedback about form without having to spend the time and energy adding an extra outing into an already packed day. And I have a core again! I thought I bid it farewell sometime during my third pregnancy, but it’s back! Thrilled.
