Had a great experience with the representative who helped my boyfriend and me sign up on 11/2—she was wonderful and very helpful! However, during our visit on 11/14, we encountered another staff member who was rude to my boyfriend, which was disappointing. Overall, it’s been a mixed experience so far!

Dark, dank. Excessive condescending signage. Condescending and confusing policies (..this is a privilege.. , threaten immediate membership termination for using the wrong door at the wrong time) Drawn out inconvenient cancellation. Have to physically go in to cancel. Can’t just pay off remainder of contract and be done.

It is a gym and you can work out there. It’s just the least pleasant experience I’ve had at a gym so far.

I got a membership here and tried to cancel because my home in morton burned down. Ended up moving out of town and they told me to payout for the rest of the year because I didn't move far enough away. Who the hell goes 30 minutes out of their way to go to a gym?

Edit: it's been a year since I've been to this gym and I've made multiple attempts to cancel my membership. DO NOT TAKE A MEMBERSHIP WITH THIS GYM.

It's a great little gym, especially if you get the 24hr access. The main issues, why I am forced to leave a negative review, is the EXTREMELY shady customer service.

Their policy states that if you move outside of 50miles from the gym, you can cancel. I have been trying for 5 months now to get in touch with someone to cancel my contact. Either no one answers the call, or you get the "I'll have a manager call you back" then no one does. Their "contact us" option on the website is broken. They have not responded to any of my emails. I went as far as paying out the remainder of my year contract, but they decided to automatically renew me and are charging me still.

They scam you by locking you into a contract then never talking to you again making it impossible to cancel your membership. Do not under any circumstances trust these people. They have the worst business practices. Absolutely shameful.

They discriminated against my father, who lost some mobility but could still work out. They put up passive aggressive signs all over. One of the workers parks in half of a handicap space. There is also a barefoot child running around the lobby in the mornings despite the passive aggressive sighs.

I was a member a few years back, great place and was well kept, clean and maintained. Lots of classes we loved the pool jacuzzi and sauna. I considered becoming a member again but I saw the prices and needed to go with another gym.

This is the best gym in town! Major major major improvements since the new owner took over. Tons of really good equipment. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Lots of rogue barbells which happen to be my favorite. Tons of bumper plates. Lots of racks, and if machines are your thing there are just about every machine I have ever seen and tons that I haven't.
There is a shake bar up front that I haven't tried yet, but they look good. Tons of choices.

They also have a hot tub, a sauna, and a pool. Racketball court, CrossFit type equipment, a spinning room and a lot more. I highly recommend checking out this place.

For a "gym only" experience/membership, Impact is a good gym. They have a wide variety of machines, free weights, and cardio equipment. The gym is not an open concept and feels a little clunky and put together - a bit of a maze - but the bonus of that is that you can get a little privacy if you want it. The sauna is a nice touch to finish your workout. Unfortunately the whirlpools were not functional the entire duration of our 3-month membership.

We chose Impact because of the add-ons. For us, we were not looking for "gym only." We purchased the Elite Membership (which includes classes) and childcare. Unfortunately, these adds ons were not worth the additional price. Classes are few and far between, and they are scheduled in a way that they are incompatible with childcare. We never got to take one.

Childcare was a major disappointment and huge point of frustration for me. Though they "offer childcare" 8am-noon, they will only allow you to take the first available slot, which is almost always 8am. The 8am slot didn't work for our family, and since I needed 9am or later, I was told "no" to childcare far more often than I was told yes. Even though I had already paid for the service. They also don't make sure childcare is always staffed. If their one childcare employee is on vacation or has time off for whatever reason, they just shut it down. The few times we snagged a slot, the kids enjoyed it. But it really didn't happen often since we couldn't do 8am.

For our busy family, Impact was not a good fit. We were disappointed in how inconvenient it was to use the add-ons, and we felt a little taken advantage of when we found out that we couldn't do classes and childcare together (it's truly one or the other - wish they would have explained that before we paid for both).

Great place!! It's very clean and well organized with a great choice of equipment to use! The staff is second to none and always helpful if and when you may have a question about anything! I highly recommend coming here if you just want a beautiful place to work out and not watch people taking pictures of themselves in the mirrors.

I have had such a great experience with working out at Impact Fitness. It’s clean, full of great equipment, and offers an intimate space so you can get your workouts in comfortably and efficiently. I have been going here for years and really don’t see my self wanting to go anywhere else. The 24/7 Wolf Pack Pass has allowed me to get a workout in within my own schedule and really love it! I really hate leaving negative reviews. It’s a very nice gym and I love that it has racquetball and a sauna and tons of ways to work out. They recently charged me a late fee because I switched debit cards and forgot to update my information with them. I received a text to update my information or I would be charged a late fee if I didn’t remit payment by the 5th so I called on the 5th before the end of the business day (that’s how that wording works) and they said they can’t change the late fee they applied and gave me a run around as to why. It stinks because they meant to write the 4th instead of the 5th and I lost money due to their mistake. Both people were insincere and wouldn’t listen to my point that it was their mistake while I tried to be kind and as a business it isn’t fair to take money from customers when the business made the mistake. I’m finding a new gym when my contract is up because I feel pretty disrespected and unheard.

This gym has everything that you’re looking for: optional 24 hour access, a pool, saunas, and every piece of equipment you could imagine. They are always updating and everything is very well-maintained. Since I’ve been coming here for the past few years, there has been so much new equipment added. They actually make it a point to do this every year, finding the latest and greatest add ons. I find the price very reasonable and I do utilize the 24 hour access, that is so worth it. This place something for everyone.

After being out of the gym for over a year, the staff and members at this gym have made me feel welcome and made the transition back into working out a pleasant experience. The owners are wonderful people who act quick to fix any issues that the equipment may be having. The wolf pack is a wonderful addition, having the gym open for 24/7 has been absolutely wonderful. Overpriced gym! They want to charge $45 a month for the “gym only” package which is fine, but then they want even more money for 24 hour access. This is not stated anywhere on the website and I was not told this when I signed up. The equipment is outdated and the customer service is horrible. There isn’t a lot of options in the area so you kind of have to deal with it. I moved here from Denver Colorado and this is the most I’ve ever paid for a gym that has outdated equipment. I’ve also never had to pay more money for 24 hour access. I would say they’re hurting for money.

Got a couple membership and then they kicked the other person off 3 days after signing up because of being 17( they check id) when other staff that signed us up had said it’s okay, then went to speak about getting a refund and canceling the year contract and the worker raised her voice when and began yelling no refunds you signed for a year contract. Just signed up today haven’t even gone yet and already know this gym is the best in town. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the gym has everything you can think of and didn’t seem very busy at all. I spoke to the lady who handles the billing and she was extremely rude. She had an attitude and didn’t want to listen. I understand about the contract but the year 2020 has been a challenging year. We had a life changing pandemic and I had a personal tragedy. My father was killed on June 2nd protecting his friend’s Pawn Shop in Saint Louis, Mo. He was a hero recognized by the President of the United States. My mind was not on a gym. I tried to communicate this but the lady was rude and unwilling to listen. Up until this point I loved Impact Fitness.

I've been working out at this location since it was Village Courts. Since ownership changed there has been several upgrades; new equipment, interior design updated, sauna and the staff maintains a clean gym. The one single, biggest flaw with making this a primary gym is it's hours of operation notably the weekend hours. Closing at 6pm on a Saturday and 5pm on Sunday is a joke. I'm actually considering getting a membership at a 24 hour 7 day a week gym in Peoria for this reason alone. Serious iron addicts need a serious gym that understand our needs. Hopefully the gym extends its hours very soon. A final note, there's some truly useless equipment and some that needs to be added.
