Ironborne Fitness is a veteran owned personal training business in Niles, IL. With over 16 years of practice and continued education in kinesiology, biomechanics, and athletic training, the company objective is to help athlete’s and adults learn how torque and joint rotation increase performance and decrease pain. I assist a variety of clients aging from 8 to 90! With exceptional service, disciplined work ethic, and experience beyond the status quo, there is no fitness goal out of reach. I give people the results they need by implementing compound strength movements, joint mobility, and tendon elasticity. These combined the right way with type 2 fibers lead to increased force production, less injuries, more muscle, and a better life.

Brian is amazing! If you’re looking for a knowledgeable trainer who actually knows what they’re doing he’s your guy. My daughter recently started seeing him and every week she’s more and more excited to go train. She absolutely loves training with him and learning new things. I signed her up with Brian because I saw the amazing things he was doing with his other clients at the gym and honestly I couldn’t have chose anyone better! I am looking forward to everything my daughter will accomplish and learn while working with him.

Brian is an amazing trainer. When I first came to him over two years ago, I had lifelong lower back pain and always felt weak in that area. I'd done months of physical therapy before, but no one had ever explained the root of my issue. In my first session, Brian pinpointed that I had no hip mobility, a weak core, and didn't realize my problems stemmed from a lack of mobility in my hips and ankles, combined with a weak core. Within a few months, Brian had me Romanian deadlifting a couple of hundred pounds. I was the same guy who used to think twice before bending over to pick something up off the floor.
Brian transformed a desk-bound engineer into a self-proclaimed athlete. It wasn’t just the demanding workouts, the incredible strength gains, or the confidence in my physical abilities—it was the understanding of my own body that set Brian apart from all the other trainers I'd been to. Now, I've been lifting for years and consider myself a lifelong athlete. My body talks to me, and Brian taught me to understand it. He empowered me. If you get the chance to train with Brian, I highly recommend taking it with both hands. Even though he can be annoying with his Marine jokes—who knows, you may be into those jokes—training with him is a game-changer. Seriously, you'll be lifting heavy and laughing hard in no time!
Thank you, Brian, for everything you've done. I'll be forever grateful for the transformation and the knowledge you've given me. It would not be an understatement to say you've truly changed my life for the better.

Went to see Brian with a bad shoulder. I was in pain for three years due to inflammation. This guy fixed me up in a few months. Unbelievably knowledgeable and extremely motivating. If you can't figure it out, he will. Go see him now!

Brian has been my personal trainer for 4 years and I highly recommend him. If you are looking for a trainer that pushes you to your potential and makes you stronger, then Brian is the trainer for you.
