Just Lift Fitness is a **HIDDEN GEM** of a gym in Clarendon Hills! The coaches are ALL super talented, encouraging and very personable. They truly get to know YOU as an individual and your abilities and work you out from a baseline level to best and better -FORWARD to BALANCE & STRENGTH. I’ve had a fantastic experience at Just Lift Fitness! All of the coaches are knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely care about helping you hit your goals. I’ve been working primarily with Alli, and she’s been incredible—always checking in to make sure I’m staying on track with my workouts, diet, and overall progress. Her guidance has made a huge difference in keeping me motivated and accountable.
The new building is also a big plus—it’s super clean, well-equipped, and has a great atmosphere that makes you want to show up and put in the work. The only downside is the cost—yes, it’s on the expensive side—but in my opinion, the level of personalized coaching and the quality of the gym make it worth it.
Highly recommend to anyone serious about getting results and being part of a supportive fitness community!

As a former high school athlete, I know the benefits of lifting weights. The how you do it to stay safe, show incredible progress, and have fun doing it is what is most unique about Just Lift Fitness. After <12-months of leaving the gym and telling myself I could get motivated and push myself, I reached out to the amazing Coach John and said, "I need to get back into this incredible community." I’m so glad I learned about Just Lift Fitness ! Admittedly, I was long overdue for a fitness “re-start” and JLF was the perfect choice. Dedicated, patient, knowledgeable and encouraging trainers create great (challenging) workouts for their small groups. The gym space is well-equipped and inviting and the JLF app helps keep you accountable and informed of progress, virtual workouts and stats. Scheduling is very manageable through the MindBody app as well. JLF is comprehensive with nutritional advice and they explain its importance in the big picture. The workout space is very clean and bright and you have many options to choose from your time to get your workout in. All the instructors are awesome and encouraging and demanding (in a good way) to make you work harder for that one hour that you have. It's a tough workout but results come pretty quickly.

This is Kelly 🙌🏻 I just completed the Just Lift Fitness 6 weeks challenge! It was challenging and rewarding! I lost a tiny bit of weight bc I increased muscle mass 💪🏻 to replace it! Body fat % went down! All coaches were encouraging, tough, fun, paid attention to form, and helped me modify as needed. I am 56 and I had not worked out consistently in a while! I did this challenge with my 29 year old daughter. Such great fun having eachother to keep us accountable! I highly encourage you to get out there and do it! I cannot say enough positive things about Just Lift Fitness! I took a 6-week challenge at this gym. I was provided with nutrition information. The exercises in the small group class are challenging but the coaches are watching all of us to ensure we have proper form. Prior to this challenge I had knee and shoulder pain. The coaches were always prepared for class and they altered some exercises specifically for me to ensure I would not aggravate my current conditions. Over a 6-week period, I gained muscle, I lost weight and I lost4.7% body fat and I no longer have knee or shoulder pain. I also enjoy working out. Thanks to JLF and their coaches, I have a new outlook on exerting and will continue to exercise the rest of my life. Thank you JLF and Coaches.

When my grandson was 25 pounds by 8 months old I knew I needed to do something to strengthen my back and get in better shape to enjoy him. I found strength conditioning at Just Lift but I also found so much positivity, an amazing community, structure and an overall joy in getting fitter and eating better. Can’t say enough about Shae and her perfect level of holding me accountable. I hated it the first week (and you probably will too) but if you can hang in until your 4th or 5th workout I guarantee you will see results and feel great! I just completed my first 6 week challenge with Just Lift and I am loving it! The groups are at max 4 clients at a time, so you get plenty of one on one attention from the coaches to help with form cues, corrections, support, etc.! They make sure you are lifting enough to challenge yourself, but injure yourself. The work outs are engaging and hard work—the kind that make you feel proud and accomplished as you exit their gym. And all the coaches are really knowledgeable, awesome people who are always willing to help you. I planned on just doing this until my wedding, but I love it and the people so much, I’m not sure I’ll be able to stop! Highly recommend.

I joined a year ago after having two babies in three years and feeling like I needed help finding my health again post-partum. I've been pushed more than I thought possible - in the best way! A year into my Just Lift journey - I'm down 10lbs overall, down 11% body fat and up 7lbs of muscle. Before JLF I would never have been confident to approach heavy lifting - and now I find myself competing with myself every time I walk through the door. After living a pretty sedentary lifestyle and working a desk job for several years, and reaching a higher age, Just Lift Fitness has been what I needed to shift back into a more active lifestyle. Other trainees range from people like me to athletes prepping for their next event. They serve all genders and many ages. It is a very welcoming community.
It has been almost two months since I began working with them, two times each week, and I already see improvements in my strength and energy levels. They also helped me be more conscious of eating balanced meals and meeting my daily fat, carb, and protein requirements to build and retain muscle.
The environment is fun and supportive, with all of the coaches and fellow clients. Their coaches give positive, productive feedback to help each of us achieve optimal performance in the movements. This also helps each of us avoid injury. Coaches modify the weight, or movement, to meet each person’s needs. The workouts are different and challenging each time, which is great!
I look forward to continuing with the Just Lift Fitness team! I highly recommend them!

I was so out of shape and not very coordinated when I began my 6 week program. Every class I went to I was greeted by name by all the trainers, and was introduced to everyone in my class that I had not yet met. The environment here is so positive and motivating with hands on support. I love that the class sizes are small so they can really make sure you’re doing things safely and giving it your all. Not once did I feel incapable, even after an injury (outside of the gym), they made sure I was doing well and gave me modifications as needed. Everyone here becomes more like your friends than just your trainers. After my 6 week challenge, I feel so much stronger and see the difference in my body. If you’re on the fence about starting at JL fitness.. just take that leap. You will not regret it!

Just Lift is Just what I needed! The small groups are great for accountability, support and allow for impactful coaching. You wouldn’t necessarily think it from looking at me, but I have worked out (weight training and cardio) since I got sober in 1995.
I’ve always been able to lose weight and for the most part, keep it off until last year. I got COVID, RSV, Influenza 2 and then had a total knee replacement. I gained back 40 lbs. and the old ways weren’t working.
Just Lift has been a godsend. I am motivated, working on what I need to strengthen as a 69 year old, and I’ve seen results both in terms of core strength and better nutritional choices in a little over a month.
I love the people there, and they love what they do. The hour seems to fly by. It’s a little bit more expensive than some other options, but it's worth it, and so am I. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Just Lift has been such a positive addition to my life the past several months. I needed to kickstart a fitness regiment after years of being out of a routine. It was recommended by my daughter - a talented high school athlete that loved training here with Just Sports.
The staff is truly spectacular (spending the most time with Coach Shea, Cassidy, and John just to name a few). My training sessions are yielding tangible results - feeling way better, getting stronger, eating healthier, losing weight and having fun. The workouts are hard but they customize it while creatively evolving. There are plenty of smiles and laughs to go around. Highly recommended.

Where do I even begin? After finding out about Just Lift while randomly scrolling FB, I reached out on a whim to find out what it was all about. I was burned out from work, ultra stressed, and feeling the worst I had in my life. I did the initial assessment and nutrition consult with Coach Linnea and Coach Cassidy and knew very quickly it was the real deal - but I had no idea all I would accomplish with the help of the coaches, how amazing I would feel, and the RESULTS I would see in such a short period of time. I started out doing personal training and moved into their small group training platform, which I could not have done without Coach Cassidy. Not only have I seen incredible results, but I feel the best I have in my life, am injury free, and have made permanent lifestyle changes thanks to the support I get everyday from the coaches. What I really love about the small group format is that there is a specific lift focus every 8 weeks so you are always challenged and getting stronger in different lifts - which is something I have never seen or heard of before in a fitness studio! The entire team is incredible and there truly is something for everyone / no matter what your age, fitness level, or goals! I could go on and on.

We hired Cassidy and Coach Rachel to lead the Brownies’ kick-off meeting to earn “My Best Self” badge. They were absolutely fantastic! They held the attention of 25 8-year old girls, which let me tell you is no easy feat. It was both educational and fun, and the Girl Scouts probably burned off any junk food they had planned on eating later this Friday night. I definitely recommend hiring Jackie and team for your children’s event; and while I can’t speak to their personal training, I happened to overhear multiple girls telling Cassidy and Coach Rachel that their moms trained at Just Lift and love it there.

I’ve been to many different personal trainers and no one compares to the coaches at Just Lift Fitness. They take the time to get to know you and create plans specifically for you. After a year of sedentary habits following cancer treatment, I joined Just Lift’s six week challenge hoping to jump start my journey to regain healthy habits and improve strength and mobility. Just Lift exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds. I was a little intimidated at the thought of participating in the small group training classes, but the environment is amazing. The coaches, and fellow trainees, are fantastic — warm, supportive, and welcoming no matter your level of fitness. I quickly lost any self-consciousness, and I’ve had great results. I’m stronger and my range of motion has improved! After a few weeks, I started experiencing some lower abdominal and hip pain, The coaches modified certain exercises for me which helped immensely. I’ve since transitioned to using the mobile app and have been equally happy with the resources there. The workouts mirror the small group training classes and are just as challenging. Shout out to my coach Skye for all of her help and support!!! Overall, highly recommend!!!

I had my first session with Linnea. Absolutely one of the best training sessions I’ve had! Not only because she was so encouraging and motivational, also very knowledgeable. I just had a C-section with my first kiddo, she knew how to check for DR, adjusted the exercises in accordance to my postpartum stage, and willing to speak to my physical therapist to get me back on track safely.

They are customized every day, so you never repeat a workout or even feel close to that. JL Fitness is amazing! The facility is so clean, the trainers are incredible, and the entire personal training process is organized, detailed, and professional. JL Fitness has been instrumental in helping me reach my fitness goals. After 4 weeks, I have already seen results and feel so much more confident and strong. Highly recommend!! I have been working out here for almost 2 months and could not be happier. Each coach is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated. They make working out fun yet challenging. The space is intimate, offering both personal training and small group classes, so that you are guaranteed personalized attention at every session. I LOVE Just Lift Fitness for so many reasons. First and foremost, the coaches – EVERY SINGLE ONE – are amazing. They are kind, knowledgeable, and fun. They motivate me to work hard and push myself. If needed, they are able to modify exercises on the fly to accommodate any injuries or limitations. I worked with two other personal trainers for a total of 14 years before coming here and those two guys do not even begin to compare to the coaches at JL. If only I had been working out with trainers like the JL staff all these years! When I started at JL in August 2021, I did one-on-one personal training for three months and switched to a combination of one-on-one and small group training for a period of time. The past few months, I have been doing small group classes 2x/week. The classes are a max of 4 clients per trainer. There may be other one-on-one sessions taking place or another small group at the same time. There is always enough space and equipment for everyone. I also use the app which has workouts for the days I am not at JL. Finally, I love the camaraderie I feel at JL. People talk to each other about life, laugh together, and encourage one another. It is simply the BEST!

I can’t say enough about the coaches, programming, and overall gym atmosphere! The personalized attention and consistent critiquing of my form makes for a very safe and motivating workout. After two months I’ve seen significant changes in my strength, cardio, and body composition. All of the coaches are so knowledgeable and they have created a fun, inclusive, yet challenging gym!
