This is the best martial arts studio that I have been to. Masters Kurtz are so patient and kind, while teaching discipline and respect. They are able to teach multiple levels at the same time, while making sure each level is getting what they need out of their class. My husband recently achieved his first degree black belt, and my daughter will be achieving her yellow belt. This is truly a loving, family environment.

Amazing academy! Great instructors. Great people. Positive reinforcement, discipline, and physical training all in one great package. Head and shoulders above any martial arts program I have ever been involved in. Master Kurtz is 7th dan in TKD and teaches Hapkido on occasion. Absolutely worth the cost to attend. You can't go wrong joining this academy!

We attended a class to observe a family member's child in a Tae Kwon Do class. Two of my own children had reached a First Degree Black Belt level in a Chicago school (Master Kwan) and I was always impressed with the professionalism in that school. I did not expect to see the high degree of professionalism and care to detail in a small town school. Master Kurtz "blew me away" with his multi-tasking while teaching a large class. His attention to the individual needs of each student, all at different belt levels, was unbelievable. He made a new student feel at ease and also gave more advanced students individual attention and responsibility to help the others. We particularly admired his attention to showing respect, and that he recognized each student's achievements.
