Horrible, upstairs has 3 benches! I was in the area and just wanted a quick lift. Majority equipment is all back equipment. People take forever or leave their stuff and not come back. When I visit my sister from Toronto, I always use this LA Fitness 6420 W Fullerton Ave,. I really enjoy the group sessions, Zumba, cardio, pool, and jacuzzi. Jorge zumba cass was great today. The front desk team is great — a big thank you to Karen, who is always so helpful and makes me feel welcome every time!
On my last visit, I was pleasantly surprised by the renovations — everything looks even better!

This gym is completely 🗑️ for some reason it’s machines are always broken and have a sign saying “schedule for fix”, the workers there look like they don’t even wanna be there at all and only treat you nice if they know you or seen you for a long time and half their treadmills don’t even work I’m paying $50 monthly now plus everyone else and they can’t even get new machines or improve their gym at all besides new lighting that no one needed.

I've been an xsport member on and off for over 10 years. In April 2021 my kid wanted to join a gym xsport being 2 minutes away from our apartment it was convenient so we joined.

The workout equipment most don't fully work or make a loud sound when s working out. In the lockroom most of the lockers don't work they're busted or don't aline to place a lock so if I bring a gym bag I have to carry it from machine to machine so inconvenient. The bathrooms are disgusting I remember the days at xsport that the bathrooms were delightful and now I make sure to go to the bathroom before I leave my place.

In reading the reviews it seems I'm going to have a hard time canceling my membership. I wish they'd take the money they collect monthly and yearly and invest in updating the gyms equipment. And the gym smells like corn chips and sweaty feet. Please do better xsport.

This is a great gym, and I have seen how the managers and workers try their best...

The problem is the lack of cleaning and order culture of people who come here...

Real example: There are signs saying: "...NO WEIGHTS ALLOWED AFTER THIS AREA...", and, anyways people take weights to that area...

Whether they would have to place cameras everywhere, even inside bathrooms where people do mess, and set strict rules, in order to kick out the vandals and messy ones, AND/OR, get membership prices so high that they can cover with employees the mess people do...

My biggest upset is dumbbells - has anyone seen 15lb?.. all scattered around, such a mess. You need to walk around entire 2nd floor looking for dumbbells. People just leaving mess after them. I think it’s simple - you take things - workout - PUT IT BACK.
One gentleman (might be an employee - i saw him training others) keeps using barbells as a tripod - or as a stand for his water bottle… insane…
Women don’t wash their hands after using restroom… they don’t even know how to flush… don’t close stalls while doing their business… absolutely disgusting…😖🤢

I had a disappointing experience at this gym. While I was working out, one of my earbuds fell and got stuck under a machine. I asked the staff for help, but they simply said there was nothing they could do, without offering any real assistance or alternative.

I understand there may be safety protocols, but the lack of willingness to even try to help or show some empathy was really frustrating. It felt like they just didn’t care.

I’ve generally had a good impression of this gym, but this kind of response leaves a lot to be desired in terms of customer service.

Very bad customer service I got overcharged for a shake and lady was so rude talking about “no it’s not 5 dollars it’s 6 dollars acting defensive very bad customer service. Gym equipment is out dated and half of it is broken. Weights are scattered and members seem not to care to re-rack weights. Hopefully staff can help with re-racking and enforcing members to do the same. Front desk staff is super unfriendly. They seem to always be on there personal phones and will not knowledge you. My big complaint is there were absolutely no barbell collars in the entire facility. This gym gets a 4.1 from me, and here is why. The facility and equipment are dated, and the free weights are often misplaced and hard to find. However, since L.A. fitness has taken over, previously Xsport, I often see staff members walking the gym cleaning and organizing weights. The maintenance turnaround on broken equipment has increased significantly, and faulty equipment is often repaired and operable the next day. Pool, suana, steam room, and hot tub repairs are done in a timely fashion as well. In short, this LA fitness is a great local facility for gym rats and hard hustlers looking to get to work.

I cancelled my membership yesterday after only having it for 2 weeks. The customer service at this location is lacking drastically. Every employee has a different answer for any question you ask.
But my biggest concern was cleanliness. There is mold all around the pool liner and floor tiles. The women’s locker room is dirty and also has mold. The sauna in the women’s locker room has been broken for a week and the steam room is disgusting. I spoke to one of the managers about my concerns and he let me know they do not have a cleaning company and the cleaning is done by 3 managers they have on staff. Which obviously makes sense, why the gym is as run down and dirty as it is. After he said that there was no doubt that XSport was not the gym for me. I requested a refund through corporate.

I had a safety concern that I wanted to address to the GM of this location but he wasn't available so the Asst Mgr decided to "hear" me out. Needless to say, the assistant manager was extremely unprofessional. I have never felt so ignored by a staff member of a company. I filed a corporate complaint 2 weeks ago and to this date no one has returned my call. I guess the next call will have to be the Health Department. This location needs to be shut down immediately. There are a-lot of SAFETY violations and liabilities waiting to happen.

I have been a loyal xsport member for years now. However due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to cancel my membership as this location was no longer convenient for me. I went in the morning to speak with a manager about cancelling my membership and everything seemed to be going well. I asked the manager if additional charges would be made to my account and he assured me that there would not be. About an hour later I receive a confirmation email stating my membership has been cancelled and attached to it is a cancellation request. The cancellation request states that I am aware that a $10 cancellation fee will be charged to my account and that I agree to them charging my account this cancellation fee. The manager forged my signature to make it seem like I had authorized this when I was NEVER once made aware of this fee. And in fact I was told the complete opposite! I was told that no additional charges would be made to my account. It’s not even the $10 that’s upsetting it’s the dishonesty and lack of care.

I recently reached my fitness goals with the help of Bryant ( consultation) and Romero (personal training). Based on my experience I’d recommend Xsport Fitness at Bricktown to anyone! Great professionals there. Bryant came up with a plan that addressed all my objectives after first carefully listening and asking relevant questions. Aside of any plan details, he also presented me with strong general guidelines easy to follow and remember. Training sessions with Romero were a living proof that an effective workout DOES NOT have to be a torture, quite contrary. I achieved all my goals just as planned, within the time projected. I lost weight and I gained muscle mass/tone just as aimed for and expected. For the length of the program I also enlisted group fitness classes which Xsport Fitness offers in a great variety. Group fitness instructors there are also very encouraging, welcoming and friendly.

New equipment this week!!!!! Yes! I was looking for the machines that I usually use. I haven't been able to go to the gym in a week and a half due to EYE surgery that I had to have. I realized that half the gym had all new equipment.... Funny enough THAT I WAS ABLE TO SEE THAT. GRATEFUL

This gym is absolutely one of my favorite places in the whole world. The equipment is slowly but surely getting replaced/fixed. The walls have just been painted, and the ac problems have been addressed The front staff and sense of community at brickyard are unmatched! They know their regular customers by name and often stop to have personalized conversations with people. My trainer is extremely personable, helpful, and extremely kind. I wouldn’t ever let anyone else train me.

Didn’t have an ID from Illinois so they denied me access with my guess pass. Tried to tell me $20 for the day and the membership is $20 a month with no down payment….

One of the front clerks mentioned that a personal trainer was not available at that time but my cousin and I said no problem he was going to do weights/ core bits and i was going to mind my business on the bikes. And they let us be. Appreciate them.

The big Hispanic lady with the blonde highlights followed me into the men's bathroom and waited for me to come out the stalls she wierd that was unnecessary you just violated peoples privacy just to say my membership wasn't mine best believe I will be contacting corporate!
