Every single exercise bike has faulty/broken gears (the ones at the front of the gym) both the regular and recumbent. The pedals just rotate so apparently that passes as working equipment?

First of all, I don’t even know how this gym passes safety inspections to stay open. The whole locker room reeks of sewage. There’s a broken mirror in the bathroom with crime scene tape over it(how does that even happen). And worst of all, when I open my locker. I saw a roach crawl under my backpack trying to hide. Disgusting. When I told the manager he had an attitude and asked me “which locker?”. Ummmm, idk but if there 1 there’s probably at least 1000 when it comes to roaches. So it’s time to call an exterminator and drop the attitude. What a dump.

Since LA Fitness took over XSport, the overall quality has noticeably declined. The equipment is often broken or poorly maintained, and cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Hours were reduced, the spa was closed, and certain classes that used to be included with premium memberships now require an additional $100/month — on top of already high membership fees.
What’s most concerning is the lack of communication. No email or official notice was sent to inform members of these changes, and when concerns were raised, management responded by simply renaming the fee-based classes so they no longer appear in our signed contracts and you are forced to pay extra $100 in order to participate.
I also had a very negative interaction with a corporate person named Bill, who refused to provide his last name. His dismissive and unprofessional behavior made it clear that member satisfaction is not his priority.
With so many other gym options in the Schaumburg area, I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. A gym should be a place where members feel valued and supported — unfortunately, LA Fitness has shown that revenue takes priority over customer experience. I do not recommend this place!

Я спокойно начала просить его через переводчик на своем телефоне, чтобы он вышел хотя бы на 3 минуты, чтобы я могла быстро раздеться и уйти, не таская с собой все свои большие сумки. Но он даже не успев выслушать, что я говорю, сразу начал махать на меня рукой, со словами « нет нет, я буду тут делать и никуда не уйду!»
Я попыталась поговорить с работницей зала, с ним была женщина, которая в принципе также отреагировала и попросила меня уйти с вещами в сауну и раздеваться там.
Я пошла к офис-менеджеру на ресепшене, объяснив ей ситуацию, что мне нужно 2-3 минуты, чтобы мужчина вышел и дал мне время раздеться и уйти уже далее с вещами, чтобы я там уже могла сделать все свои дела! Но и от нее получила ответ, что им в принципе все равно на дискомфорт их посетителей, так как время их приходящего работника, им важнее и они не могут отвлекать его от работы!
Все женщины находящиеся в раздевалке и также желающие спокойно принять душ и посетить сауну, не в одежде, Были также неприятно удивлены. Очень жаль, что сотрудникам данного фитнес зала, мнение приходящего к ним работника, оказывается важнее, чем честь и комфорт, их клиентов, которые оплачивают свое времяпровождения в таком зале!

My experience hasn’t been great, and I think it stems from the management and their lack of standards.

When I signed up I was up front with what I can and cannot do, they have bumper plates and bars I asked before signing up that yes it’s okay to drop them.

Because of this I signed up, however, the manager Andrew to express his displeasure did it in a passive aggressive way. As a member this feels bad and it shows what your priorities are, not being up front and honest with people. Set a better bar for yourself.

Pros:
1. The people who check you in are the best they have the best attitude and are friendly.
2. Sauna is good

Cons:

1. Equipment is old and worn down, machines are always out of service.
2. The men’s locker room is the worst environment, it’s so dirty, they all have this white stain on the doors it’s unusual, there’s old clothes in the lockers, it smells like poo.
3. The showers smell like mold and I wouldn’t suggest going barefoot.
4. That same bad smell from the showers shows up in the steam room, don’t go in there, it feels like an unsafe hazardous environment for your body.
5. There are leaks around the gym when it rains

For how much they charge the place is not maintained at all. The machines are broken with parts missing. The safety belts are frayed. Cardio machines don't work. The new machines are basically old repurposed ones. There is horrible stuck on dust everywhere. The flooring permanently stinks. And on weekends at 6 pm they start announcing the gym is closing in one hour. And the announcement goes on every 15 minutes. God bless that girl but she must know that she has an annoying voice. A new membership and they said $99 initiation and then $55 yearly fees. So you have to commit to $149 upfront and the $20 per month for just this location. The gym timings are very short. The classes are sub par.. the yoga is horrible... dont even try. The others aren't worth the time honestly. You can pay an additional $80 for strength classes if you want to. Even their front door is malfunctioning at this point. HVAC doesn't work on and off. They have no paper towels or regular towels. Just wipes and air dryer. The trainers are not dedicated. Atleast the one that was assigned to me.

So I don’t normally write a lot of reviews on the gyms I go to, but I had to write about my experience here. I travel a lot for work, so I do have a few memberships based on what states have certain gyms, that I but I’ve been coming to this gym since the Xsport days. Sorry to say but I hadn’t been to this location consistently since last year when it was still owned by Xsport. Came a few months ago and nothing changed much. When I tell you this gym was dirty, smelled horrid, and nothing worked, is an understatement. Hot tub and sauna was closed for months on end.

I’m not sure what LA has been doing but I came in yesterday and it was 10 times better. The men’s room OMG didn’t smell like piss and shit and the sauna looks brand new. I rang up a drank, and the lady at the desk was very kind. Even though she was working with myself, and another lady at the same time, she multitasked very well. I was told by another member that she was the manager. And they had all new management as well. I didn’t say anything to her about my wonderful experience but I will when I come back later this week. Kudos to LA for out with the old and in with the new. Reading the reviews recently made me hesitant to come visit again but I’m glad I did.

This is probably the worst gym I’ve went to. All the other gyms near by and the other LA Fitnesses are really good. But this one specially for some reason there’s always something that doesn’t work. Like now I almost passes out because of the heat inside the gym. There’s no fan working no ac working and when you ask the front desk people they say they’re waiting on parts. Even in the summer the heat wasn’t working.

I’ve been coming to this gym for a little over a year and it’s been great. The staff is super helpful and friendly and I’ve been able to see really good progress thanks to my trainer Jason. I’ve gotten stronger, more confident, and have actually started to enjoy working out, which is something I never thought I’d say. If you’re looking for a trainer who listens and will have your best interest, Jason is the trainer for you.

Used to go here 2 years ago and went on break for college, cancelled my membership. After the LA fitness acquisition, LA fitness started randomly charging my card for months, $40 a month and about $240 in total, without my consent or knowledge. This company is fraudulent and makes so many shortcuts that it puts every other MLM, pyramid scheme, or money laundering company to shame. Let me save you all time while looking through all these reviews. XSport was once great, hence why even tho in recent times, there’s so many bad reviews, the average is still so high. So many old 4 and 5 star reviews from an age now forgotten. LA fitness was the downfall of this place and I genuinely would not be surprised if this XSport does foreclose in the near future due to LA fitness cutting so many corners in terms of regular maintenance, sanitary procedures, customer service, staff work hours, closing certain facilities, oh and did I mention that there used to be 3 different pricings? $15, $25, $40. It was great! But now they upcharged the everliving hell out of it so now there’s only two options, $30 and $40, installment fee of $100, annual fee of $60. Money hungry company cutting every single corner possible. A lame excuse for listed “amenities” all of them are either in disgusting and in dangerous conditions or completely closed off (like the underground garage) or both. LA fitness is one of the worst companies to ever exist and should be investigated by the SEC, BBB, and possibly even the FBI. There is something that goes on in the inner workings of the acquired locations that is so off about them. They even have different policies and rules associated with the acquired gyms, compared to their own LA fitness gyms. If this isn’t the sketchiest company you’ve ever seen, I’m not sure what could top that.

I’m very glad that there are finally enough benches in the dumbbell area.

There are still many machines that have worn out weight labels so it’s hard to know what weight you’re actually using.

I did personal training with Jason and he was really great. I felt like I learned a lot and accomplished a lot in each session. He did a great job of teaching me exercises that I could do with that I had at home and also made sure I knew how to use the equipment in the gym. I would definitely recommend him as a trainer.

The gym itself isn’t the newest. Also, I would avoid the pool. But there were a lot of really nice and supportive people on staff as well as around the gym. I really liked that.

Today marks yet another day where I realized they reduced their hours. At this point it's just pointless ever coming back here. I'm going to try for a refund because this is just ridiculous. Is it really that expensive to hire 2 employees work off hours? I don't understand the need for such horrible hours.

XSPORT was 365 7 days a week. Since LA bought out the company and took over this building they've changed their hours 4 times and have these stupid hours we have to constantly work around. What happened to convenience? A gym should be opened on off hours. It's at a point now where you'll never have a good time to workout without it being crammed. I guess Planet Fitness it is. LA increased the cost by 4x (650+ / year) and they reduced the hours to the point where it's just robbery. Nothing has changed inside either. What a joke. Literally robbery.

Back in Oct 2020, I called to ask for a refund for a time when the gym was closed and to cancel the membership. Customer service representative told me that they can't do refund but thay can give me credit for next 2 months and then my membership will be canceled in Dec 2020. I checked my bank statements and found out thay keep charging me after that for the next 10 months. I called them and they checked my check-ins and saw that i didn't go to the gym from Dec 2020 and they told me that they couldn't refund my money back.

My only negative is they only have 1 smith machine that goes low enough to do glute bridges and the same lady body guards the smith machine for an hour plus doing an entire circuit workout and won’t let anyone else use it. So try to come in super early and use it before she arrives. I was at the gym today and she was guarding it for an hour & a half. I assume for longer but that was as long as I could wait. Very irritating.

Formerly known as XSport Fitness (Capital Fitness), this gym was once the Mecca of Illinois fitness culture - a place where bodybuilders and fitness enthusiasts came together to grind toward their goals. The golden era of XSport came to an abrupt end when the Cartwright regime sold the business to what is now LA Fitness.

I remember the good old days: walking in, grabbing a fresh towel from the front desk, getting in a solid workout, then maxing out at the juice bar with one of their iconic PB-Protein shakes. Afterward, I’d hop on one of the lobby computers to catch up on emails before heading out. It was more than a gym, it was an experience.

Now? It’s a completely different story. Since being taken over by LA Fitness, they’ve ripped out the computers, removed the paper towel dispensers, and stripped away the features that made the place unique.

You’d think a company like LA Fitness would improve the facility and update the equipment to elevate the member experience. Instead, you’re left with moldy bathrooms that reek of urine and mildew, broken or unusable machines, and a general lack of care. Removing paper towel dispensers isn’t a smart cost-saving move…it’s a step backward.

This place is long overdue for a serious update and a return to the standards that once made it great.

Machines are breaking down, and they are not being fixed. If I would have known this, I wouldn't have rejoined.
I rejoined back in November, because Luke the manager, said the price would be going up. My membership was not up until January 2025. He assured me he would tack the 2 months on, which he said he did. Come to find out Luke is no longer there and I did not get the additional 2 months. I think they are perpetrating fraud. I will talk to my lawyer about this.
Also, the gym has gone downhill since. It is dirty and machines broken. I will get a new gym when my membership is up. The gym I am talking about is Schaumburg, IL, at Golf and Meacham.
It was tons better when it was X-SPORT.

Just started coming to this gym a month ago since my XSPORT in South Barrington is permanently closed. This is FAR BETTER than XSPORT… The staff is nice, the women’s locker room is clean, and I actively see them cleaning the sauna, vacuuming the gym, etc… there’s tons of cardio equipment! The only thing to be mindful of is the fact that this gym gets BUSY between 4:15pm-8pm… so busy that you have to wait for machines quite a bit. They also have classes here… I haven’t taken any. The pool, hot tub, and basketball court that look nice but I’ve never used them. They have more than enough dumbbells of all diff weights and as a female at this gym I’m totally comfortable. No creeps or odd people staring at you. There’s also quite a lot of other women that also lift and use machines like I do. For $15/month you can’t beat it!

I have not entered the bathroom even once and it has never smelled fresh. The steam is so hot that you cannot even stay for five minutes. Also, the bathroom smells like feet. The customer service is terrible. You are rarely greeted or wished a nice workout at the front desk. The guest I brought along paid $20 for a one-hour workout. Not once have I brought a guest here and the manager hasn't even allowed my guest to have a trial workout. He said I can't bring guests because I have a basic membership, which makes sense, but I've been a member for two years and have paid $34+, but have never brought any guests. At least I thought they would let my guest enter for free just for a day. I'm glad I changed my membership to basic, because it's not worth paying more for broken machines, a raining ceiling, dusty machines, and a rude manager. Poor customer service. I would not recommend this branch.

My experience with Xsport Schaumburg has been disappointing due to their poor customer service. My occurrences are consistently happening with Mohammad and Hope. As soon as I walk in, I've been consistently welcomed with an attitude. I've encountered multiple instances where one staff member tells me one thing, only to have another person contradict it entirely. This led to Manager Hope to come in and be rude instead of stepping up and fixing the problem. Mohammad is also one of top 5 rudest and unprofessional employees i've come across. When an employee makes the workout environment uncomfortable, it says alot about the employee. This inconsistency is frustrating and unprofessional. It's clear that the employees here don't enjoy their work which creates an unwelcoming atmosphere. The lack of respect and enthusiasm from the staff has really diminished my experience. I hope management takes these issues seriously and makes necessary improvements.

This gym has too many machines out of service and if it rains it is worse because the ceiling leaks. The place is dirty and messy. The bathrooms never have soap or toilet paper. The trash is always full, and there are pieces of toilet paper all over the floor. I have mixed feelings about this place. Most of the staff is very friendly and welcoming. There is only one staff member who seems to jump to want to deny us of what we as members pay for, but other than her, the rest of the staff is amazing. It is a great and convenient location. On the other hand, the cleanliness of the place, especially the pool are could be improved. There's often gum and tissue paper all over the edge of both the pool and the hot tub. Some of the machines could use some repair. To be honest, the only reason I haven't canceled is because most of the staff are so helpful and willing to help.

UPDATE :
It has been over 2 months since my post. The reply was to contact the member service. Still nothing was done about the tanning lamp replacement. How hard is it to maintenance the tanning beds?? That's the proof that they don't care and don't listen to their customers.

I have been a customer for over 15 years now and I feel that no one really cares about this club anymore. I pay extra to use their spa services which a lot of the time are not available due to being 'out of order' for several months now. I have been reporting issues to the front desk but it seems like they are being totally ignored. I feel like there is no maintenance at all. Dirty rooms with paper towels all over the floor, tanning beds (which btw I clean myself) have only half of the bulbs working, the rest is out (or should say been out for months).
Overall this location needs to start listening to its customers and work on some improvements and maintenance otherwise people will go elsewhere.

* The location is optimal and convenient
* Parking has never been an issue for me
* It has a basketball court and a swimming pool
* Most of the staff is nice and greet everyone

Cons:
* So much of the workout equipment is in rough shape and feels borderline unsafe
* Although most staff is professional, they have at least one personal trainer that hits on all the women, even when working with a client
* The bathrooms are always wet and it's not because the staff just swept
* Some members are leaving clothes overnight and the locker room smells rank
* They need to add cameras in the parking garage and stairways and prosecute people that are defacing property, writing graffiti, etc.
* If you cancel, they will harass, call and email you everyday telling you that you have an outstanding balance on your account that keeps getting higher. How to get it to stop is a mystery - they told me to forward my cancelation email to another specific email(even though they should already have it) but the harassment continues.

Not one to leave reviews but after coming here for over 3 years it’s time. The $49 annual “maintenance fee” is what finally got me. As the price for the membership goes up the quality goes down. Machines often don’t have pins to workout with so you have to go searching other machines and take those or skip that lift if you can’t find any. Either paper towels, toilet paper or soap will be out every time you come here. Don’t expect filtered water, the one filtered station has been broken for over 7 months and the manager claimed he “ordered parts” for it (2 months ago) when I asked. It’s always a sauna in the gym so expect a good sweat at least. All cardio machines always have a few broken. Only reason I’m leaving a star is because of the multi location option for the membership other than that, just go to another location or branch.

I recently joined Gym and have been thoroughly impressed with the experience so far. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Iron Mike at the front desk. His customer service is outstanding – he’s always friendly, approachable, and ready to help with any questions or concerns. His positive attitude sets the tone for a great workout session every time.

The gym itself is top-notch. It’s well-maintained, with a clean and organized layout that makes it easy to find and use the equipment. The men’s bathroom, in particular, is spotless, which is a pleasant surprise. It’s clear that cleanliness and hygiene are a priority here.

I go to Planet Fitness 5x week and somehow this place is worse..The vibes are all off, every “nightmare” gym meme comes alive here.. Blowhard members, pushy staff, every machine is busy, bags all over the floor. I tried the 6 day pass bc i was looking to upgrade from PF and this place has a bench and basketball court so figured id give it a shot. Turns out you need to be a member to use the courts. Hope informed me that i could join for $1 and try out the courts and then cancel within the 6 days. I tried doing exactly that and when I went to cancel within my 6 days i was informed by another staff member that I need to go through “one billing cycle” before i could cancel. Went to cancel today and got hit w 10 dollar cancellation fee. My 6 day “free pass” costed me around 40 bucks and i never even really used the facilities. All in all i feel pretty duped/ bait and switched, but not suprised- Gyms and fitness industry don’t get these “shady” reputations for no reason… It’s an industry issue as a whole that this place is unfortunately perpetuates

The worst environment to do a workout, there is no AC, the bathrooms are always dirty and smell bad, the gym is always a mess, mirrors dirty, the underground parking lot always smells like weed and the trash can never seems to be taken out. This is regarding the Schaumburg office. I don’t know about other reps in that office but the guy name “Hope” can’t be trusted!! He kind of forced me to get the “one on one session” which cost me about $560. I declined because I don’t need to and he’s not happy about it. The contract that I signed is not the same one that I told him to. I went back the next day to cancel it. He also said that I can’t use the “free 7 days pass” that I registered online to get it. Hope, you need to get retrain dude!!

Although the gym has several options of workout equipment, the machines always seem to be out of order. I can look past that. But the locker room, HORRIBLE!!!! Always a mess! This morning 4 out of the 5 stalls had no toilet paper. There are two paper towel dispensers. One was empty. The other one that barely even works was about empty. Garbage over flowing. It doesn’t look like the floors, showers or anything there has been cleaned in who knows how long there. Clearly ownership and the people that work there take no pride in having a clean gym. I wish this was a one off but it’s a constant! There are plenty of gyms in the area. If this doesn’t start to improve I can see several members leaving. Sorry

The trainers at this gym are superb. Angelina was fantastic to work with. She has a deep knowledge and broad range of exercises. Her attention to detail is keen. She can really focus on the minor adjustments necessary to perfect a motion. One of the best things she taught me was to go slow and get it right. No need for heavy weights.

When I started with her my goal was to have a handful of exercises I can do when I travel. She more than delivered. Many of the exercises are easy to do at a hotel and are fun. The treadmill is no longer a bore. Lighter weights with higher and slower reps are my effective go-to. She also reminds me to stretch.

If you get the chance, seek out Angelina. She is an excellent instructor!

Shady, Bait and switch tactics. Staff members lie, and run you around in circles like an airline with promises they never intend making good on. Majority of the locations are run down and many machines are brokern...2/6 stair climbers actually functioned... :( Wrongfully charged for a corporate ran promotion. After chasing down multiple times for an answer/resolution--I was told it would be credited March 11 to my card after I never should have been charged. Fast forward 1 week...no credit. Went in on my lunch break seekijg answers to which I got complete silence as they knew they had lied to me in the hopes I would just give up and go away. Go anywhere else. I get reimbursed from work for my membership but I'll happily pay more at another gym. This place is the dollar tree of gyms. Abhorrent behavior from their staff.

Used to go to this gym frequently before 2022. Then I transferred over to a different gym as I moved out of state, upon my temporary return to Illinois. I joined this gym again. Realized that the same issues and a headaches that I had to deal with when I was a member previously I are still the same.

The gym is extremely filthy, people are showing off and never putting the weights back to where they belong. The staff is incompetent, there's never any paper towels and no evening personnel to clean the bathrooms. Disappointed at this gym, canceled my membership.

Forget the gym snobs, George's your weight-lifting cheerleader. Encouragement? He's got gallons. Technique pointers? Delivered with gusto. Results? Well, they're guaranteed to come... eventually, between the motivational roars and questionable exercise choices.

The Good:

Hype Man Extraordinaire: George will have you feeling like you can bench press a house.
Genuine Care: Underneath the theatrics, George wants you to succeed. Just don't expect an easy workout.

Unique Coaching Style: Prepare for passionate (and sometimes nonsensical) advice.

Overall:
George might not be your typical trainer, but he'll get you laughing, maybe a little sore, and definitely moving. Just bring your sense of humor and a thirst for... well, improvement, because George will definitely thirst for results (and maybe a first bump).

Schaumburg location has been ignored and undervalued for about a year. The ellipticals, treadmills and exercise bikes either are missing the tv screens, foot straps or have error messages when trying to use them. The showers are broke, curtains are filthy and swimsuit extractor is leaking. The water bottle fountain has been broke since late last year. The jacuzzi has been out of order for sometime. I wonder if other Xsport locations are experiencing similar issues.

I’ve been an Xsport member for about 15 years and the last 10 years solely at the Schaumburg location.
Here’s a few things I have noticed -
1. The hot tub seems to be out of order more often than it is functioning. And the hot tub jets haven’t worked for most of the time I’ve been a member.
2. The pool is never a consistent temperature. I swim laps regularly and I never know if the water will be warm or cool before I get in.
3. A lot of broken machines that do not get repaired in a timely manner. At one point recently, 3 of the 6 stair-masters were not working at the same time.
4. The class instructors are really fun. I enjoy the weight training classes and feel they really work you hard and makes me want to keep coming back.
5. Most of the front desk staff are very friendly and do take the time to listen to you.
6. I like the convenient 24/7 hours.
7. I do feel for the price of the membership, I am getting a good value. It is the club maintenance that can use some improvement.

I had multiple injuries the last year and he made sure to readjust our training sessions to my capability. I end my sessions feeling accomplished to one step closer to my goals. Today I went to the Gym with my husband like every morning. Usually they ask me to sign up on computer but today they suddenly ask me my ID. I told them I didn't bring ID this morning. They told me have to go home and get it. I told them I'm member 10 years, I know it a policy but before nobody told me show ID, that's why I didn't bring it. Can you let me get in today? They call manager and he is super rude. Me and my husband have to go home. Recently their services very bad, even bathroom and toilet is dirty, sometimes no toilet paper. I have been a member of xport for almost 13 yrs. I have been to almost every export in the northwest suburbs and the Schaumburg location in by far the worst run gym I have ever seen in my life. 3 people sitting at front desk all the time yet every machine is dirty, bathrooms are disgusting, 1/3 of the machines do not work. For two weeks now more than half of the machines have been missing the key to increase the weight. I ask one of several kids at front desk and their response was “we know and are waiting to receive more keys.” This is the equivalent of going to a gas station and them telling you none of their pumps work. The Manager is never around to discuss these issues. This place is a joke. If looking to join a gym save your money and look elsewhere. Only a matter of time before this place goes under with their current management.

Tried bringing a guest who was on file before, this is the 3rd time they said he isn't on file requested an ID again which is fine. The one time today he forgot it & tried showing a picture, staff said they'll get to us after & they will see what they can do. other people that were first timers as guests were standing next to us, so they didnt want to help us because they had to spit their script & get commission off of someone instead of accommodation us. Lost my keys today n an employee Darrell worked aimlessly to get the lock off locker. It's a disc padlock so pretty impossible. Locksmith came out n wanted to charge me 500 to take it off. This gym keeps going downhill and the new management isn’t really good either. The water fountain has been broken for almost 2 months now and there is a new machine that appears to be out of service every time you walk in the gym. Also the heating system is awful since the gym feels like a sauna and after 2 sets of light exercise you’ll be sweating buckets. Not worth the $14.99 price that they try to shove down your throat.

Worse gym ever. First off, when I first visited, one of their workers told me they have a promo that's only running til the end of the day so if I wanna get on the promo I had to join then. The promo was running for another month, so he lied to get me to join. 2nd, the basketball court is always slippery. It's not fit to play, I've tried playing 3 times, and its a big risk for injury as you slip and slide trying to run. 3rd, it's very crowded during peak hours which is the only time I can go bc of my work schedule.

Looking at your reviews Dhruv Patel I can see that you have a very negative outlook on things and might have high standards. My advice to you buddy, is keep a positive outlook on things I come around midnight and I see hardworking cleaners that are working there butts off. You get what you pay for, and this facility is a bang for the buck. Yes some equipment are broken and yes they do need be fixed asap. This is my home gym and I take pride in it. Been a member here for 8 years and we play basketball 5 years. And the gym floor has been like an ice skating rink. They never clean the floor just this week a kid that works the front desk came back in the gym and cleaned it. He’s not even the janitor. Soooo many people have hurt them selves over the years. Just this week 3 people sprained there ankle and dislocated there knee cap. We have complained so many times over the years. They always say they will do something about it but never do! So adding on- for two months the women's locker room smelt like there was a gas leak. Not sure if it was a bio hazard or a fire hazard.
Currently the heat is not working. It is extremely cold there.
The dust situation is horrible I think it is going to make everyone sick. They need to clean the machines and the floors. Lots of dust in between and under machines. Music did not work in the class for 3 months. Summer time leaks in the ceilings.

Place is very dirty. Lots of dust, smells like school boy socks. They don't vacuum or wipe anything ever. Machines are very worn out. Cardio machines all need to be replaced. On top of this they have increased my membership twice this year. I have the membership that includes the classes and it's now 42 bucks. They assigned me a cheap trainer for my expensive sessions and sat her in front of me to ask feedback and If I wanted more sessions. I had to tell sales guy he needs to do his homework and not waste my time. Bathrooms I can't use. Locker room has a permanent sign saying someone is working so no privacy for women.

I wasn’t having the absolute best experience with Xsport Schaumburg and their staff members, but Adrian made sure everything was handled correctly and resolved all of the issues I was having, AND guided me through the process. I really do not like this gym. Some of the staff are not helpful at all with information regarding memberships/cancellations. Also their cancellation policy is garbage. They make everything difficult for you. You can sign up online and give them your money no problem, but cancelling or freezing? Feels like you have to jump through hoops. Xsport taught me my lesson about signing up with commercial gyms. Do not get a membership here.
