Plenty of weight machines, main floor and upstairs!! Pool with aerobics classes if you like water aerobics…great workout for those with arthritis! Business hours are easy to workout even for the busiest schedule. Monthly membership is cost effective and works great for our family! 4 stars given only because the women’s locker room needs to be monitored for post pool classes. Apparently some women don’t know how to dry off in the shower room and decide to bring it into the locker room!

Personally, the best gym I’ve ever attended. Close to home, not expensive, a very homey type of feeling being here with everyone being so nice and friendly, the workers here are very inviting and always ready to help, and lastly, for any workout you may have in mind, this place has just the spot for ya’!!! Only thing I have a small problem with is cleanliness of showers, and they should take you around and explain use of equipment, but if you ask they are friendly and will help. Place has huge potential. Staff is great. Place seems to be OK. One think that i mind very much is this : you have showers that have no shower curtains and you do not have any privacy while taking a shower, there is probably a bunch of old pervers(i saw one walking around naked which i dont f... care as long as you dont interfere with me) who's just staring at you and waiting for opportunity...i experienced it tonight. Old guy came in right across my shower and started to talk to me for absolutely no reason, i came there minding my own business. I took my time and i was swimming, i really enjoyed it btw, finished with it and i was on my way out.... He has been coming in and out pool area while i was swimming...seemed to me like he was stalking me...unacceptable behavior!

If you are a student athlete steer clear of this gym as one you are only “allowed” to go certain days and times but then when you get it pre-approved with Mark, the owner, he takes everything back as he stated the previous day. These student athletes never cause any issues and simply want to workout and be healthier. We have been using this gym for 2 years with no issues until yesterday. Never again will we recommend this gym and will be sure to tell all of the collinsville athletes to steer clear as well.

Over the last year I have noticed an increase in "sprucing up" efforts, as one would do if they were prepping a location for sale. Absent are measures to get rid of the "gnats" or whatever they are that hang out in the mens showers. Theyve been there long enough to be observed by management or to not be judged as occasional visitors. Some of the lockers have been repaired with screws and bolts that are clearly the wrong size and present an "injury possibility" to someone unaware of their presence. Another modification they could attend to is layer upon layer of paint on some of the sufaces in the mens shower/spa area. This speaks "inattention" to the observer and undermines other efforts. They could do their patrons a service by installing towel spin driers like the "Y" has at their locations. I have been a member intermittently since their opening. It seems to me that although theyve been around for decades, theyre still learning how to treat customers and maintain a business location. These are weak areas that I would attend to immediately if it were my business. Other than those I would say iits a pretty nice place overall.
