Solid no-frills gym in the heart of Lincoln Park. Dropped about $25 for a day pass to check it out. Equipment's a bit dated, and the space isn't huge, but it gets the job done. Staff was friendly, and the crowd was chillβno meathead vibes. If you're looking for a basic spot to lift without the boutique prices, this place fits the bill.

Super affordable bare bones operation that is geared toward the no nonsense types. Also the homemade signage in there is incredible

The Lincoln Park Fitness Center is a great place to work out. The facility is always clean and the equipment is up to date. Plus, the trainees are friendly and knowledgeable. It's really become my go-to fitness center.

I have a magnetic key on my card which gives me access 4 a.m. to 11 p.m. Good for me as I can go directly from my bus stop.

I worked out here 5-6 times a week for nearly 5 years. You really can't beat the value for the area. The gym is quite small, but it's never crowded, at least not in the morning. It has basically everything you need if you're looking for results.

Sort of the only gym in the area. Its a smaller space, the owner keeps his cute dog around pretty often. But the free weights do show their age and the space is real limited. But the workers are friendly, it has a nice variety of equipment, so overall not bad at all!

Small place and the equipment is a little cramped; however, it's rarely crowded and has a surprising amount of equipment for the space.

I left my apartment in which i was rooming with someone. They will not let me simply cancel my membership. They are adding all of these additional steps/trying to make me come in. equipment isn't plentiful for the amount of money that you would be paying (i think its like 39 bucks a month or something). Beware, bring your business elsewhere.

Small gym, never crowded, nice place to get a lift in or some cardio if you're in town for the weekend. I have yet to try the group fitness classes. There is definitely a lack of friendliness from the staff and people who go here don't have normal gym etiquette. Ex: not taking weights off the barbells, using weights you're using without asking... sort of annoying.

Excellent value for a no frills workout spot. Clean, good equipment including treadmills, ellipticals, squat racks and barbells. Clientele are mostly young professionals, no juice heads, no divas. Owner's there most of the time, his name is Jim and he's a good guy. And again: excellent pricing.

It's pretty basic, but it has everything you need to get a decent workout. Cardio, weights, machines...it's all there. No towel service, no locker rooms, no BS. It seems like a place Rocky would train. Pricing is competitive too.
Pros:
- All equipment necessary to get your workout
- Price
- Location
- Staff is cool and unpretentious
Cons:
- Hours - Only open until 6pm on the weekends
- Atmosphere, Yep, it looks like a 70's basement
- No big chested blonde girl to greet you
