Make sure you cancel your monthly membership proactively when you stop using the facility.
Normally, Id say its on me to manage my monthly subscriptions, however, a trainer reached out to check in with me to see if Id be coming in to for any classes and when I advised that I had relocated and could no longer use the facility, nothing was mentioned about canceling my membership at all. So the team is "supportive" enough to check in when you stop showing up, but not supportive enough to advise the client to cancel membership - wouldnt want to jeopardize the income stream from a continuing recurring charge for a service that isn't in use!

I joined after my one year anniversary of doing Bariatric surgery. I lost 105 lbs in that one year and wanted to start exercising to continue my weight loss journey and at the same time build my muscle to fill in all that saggy skin. I love group workouts and having a coach to instruct and push me, so I thought of giving OTF a try and itβs now 5 months later. In the 5 months that Iβve been a member, my energy has increased, my body shape is changing, and I am getting stronger. I keep getting compliments from my friends and family about how much healthier I look now.
The coaches (Rudy, Heidi, Alyssa, and Lacey) are so energetic and upbeat that they make me want to push myself, especially when I feel that Iβm done and tapped out. I love the encouragement and direction that I get from them. They are so positive and make me feel that I can accomplish anything I set my mind to. The coaches are quick to offer alternatives for me and do a great job of monitoring the floor workouts to give people feedback on form and pacing.
I also love the combination of strength and cardio workouts. I find myself getting stronger and my body shape is changing as a result. Besides the coaching and the workouts, I love the atmosphere, the music, and the community that make OTF Woodridge such an incredible place.

Becoming a member 4 1/2 years ago was the best decision I've made for my health and fitness journey. Having been a member at other gyms previously, I struggled with staying focused during my workouts and would waste so much time picking the right song or figuring out what to do or wondering if my form was correct. I would lose motivation to even want to go until I checked out a class at Orange Theory Fitness Woodridge. A few classes later, I was hooked. I am so happy I chose OTF because I absolutely love the accountability. Staff & coaches are amazing. Members are the friendliest - I have made so many friendships over the years and truly consider them like a second family. The studio is always super clean. The workouts can be challenging but in the best way possible. You will be amazed at what you're able to accomplish.
Memberships don't have a price tag when you find something that really works. Having 60 minutes of uninterrupted time focused on working out with no phones and coaches truly focused on your form and encouraging you to get out of your comfort zone is rewarding within itself.
A large part of why I stayed a loyal member at Woodridge are the exceptional coaches. They genuinely care about you, have a wealth of knowledge, and are always willing to go above and beyond to modify workouts and work with any injuries to help you hit your goals. I love all the coaches here, but big shoutout to Coach Rudy! I'm thankful to have him as a coach and friend. He helped me through some of the toughest times, and I really don't know how I would have gotten through an injury late last year without him. Coaches like Rudy are one of a kind and are a large part of what keeps the members coming back.
If you are on the fence about trying out a class, just do it - the only regret you will have is not signing up sooner. Woodridge will become a second home and you'll really understand the meaning of More Life.

My favorite orange theory location! Always clean, bathrooms are always clean and stocked up. Front desk people are always kind to me whenever I forget my heart monitor (Iβm sorry I always forget my heart monitor!) I feel comfortable and welcomed at this gym everyday. Alyssa and Heidi are usually my coaches and they are wonderful. Alyssa is very clear with her directions, teaches me the proper ways to exercise and is very motivational. Heidi is very helpful with modifying and teaching new exercises and sheβs very kind. The classes are fun and totally worth the price. Personally, I canβt just go to a gym and work out, I need the coaches teaching me what to do and at a good pace. I honestly canβt believe how much my strength, mental health, and mobility improved after coming here, Thanks Woodridge location! Itβs going to be 1 year for me here in June, and itβs my longest consecutive time going to a gym consistently lol.

I started Orange Theory to change up my normal workout routine, which I was feeling a bit bored with it. My only complaint is it I didn't start Orange Theory sooner. Everyone is so friendly and encouraging. Truly love it!

But my wife convinced me to give this a try and 3 months later I can easily say this was a life changing decision. It's a no-nonsense, 60 minute in and out thing. No guessing about what to do next. Just listen to the coach, do your best and get on with the rest of life's demands. It is why my wife joined in right after I did. If you are number driven like I am, the live monitoring, graphs and data keep you on track.

I think the workouts at Orangetheory are great! It is a nice combination of cardio and strength training and I enjoy the variety of the workouts. As a former athlete, I also think it is nice not having to think much and having someone tell you what to do. I personally enjoy having a coach to help guide and encourage me through the workout. The coaches at this location are wonderful, with each one having something different to bring to the workout. I am so glad I made the choice to join Orangetheory!

I hate working out. I never like running on a treadmill. I love orange theory! First few months I had to drag myself there, once I got there the workouts felt great and the hour flies by. Month 4 and Iβm 10 lbs lighter, feel great, and love going almost 6 x a week. The Woodridge coaches are motivating and attentive. There are many classes throughout the day to allow for my schedule as well. I recommend this place if you need to exercise but hate going to a gym.

I signed up for a class and was told that it "was recommended" I arrive 20 min early to speak with coaches prior to class, as it was my first one. I have a 5 week old at home, was breastfeeding prior to class, and arrived 13 minutes prior to class starting instead of 20 min due to feeding my newborn. I was then told, after I drove all the way to woodridge from other side of bolingbrook, that I could not participate because I did not arrive the 20 minutes early. I explained that I had a newborn and apologized, and still was turned away. If it is MANDATORY that you arrive 20 minutes early or you will not be allowed to participate, that needs to be effectively communicated to new customers. Will not be returning.

most of the trainers are really nice and great, but there is one that is grumpy and he teaches often and it's hard to avoid him because my schedule coincides when he teaches. very clean facility, love the open space, and overall like it. it's also impossible to get a response from the manager or his assistant but the rest of the staff is great as well1

My first experience was all that I needed it to be to get me hooked. When I walked into the gym I was promptly greeted by name from Matt, who I am assuming might be a manger? Regardless, the open friendliness when I first walked in set the tone for this locations staff and it didnβt fall short at all. Nick the trainer for the class was very thorough on going over the rowing machine ( I had never done this before)along with all the other items being used for the workout. During the workout he was motivating & helpful but didnβt single me out being my first workout to make me feel everyoneβs watching. Needles to say, Iβm a member now.

It's structured and organized. I know I will get a full workout, unlike other gyms where I have to share equipment and wait for others to be done with the machine or weights I need. The coaches are always there for encouragement and to correct any form/technique issues.

I attended my first Orange Theory class on Monday, September 9. Despite feeling under the weather, I LOVED the class. I was able to push myself and work hard all while getting a great workout. My favorite part was the treadmill block- 30 minutes seemed daunting, but it was broken up into short segments that made me push myself each time.

Hello, Just a disclaimer, I am not a group setting, group class workout type of individual; therefore, I was a little skeptical about taking this class. Walking in I was greeted by Brittany, I believe the manager of the Woodridge location and she is just a gem. Very empathic, understanding, knowledgeable and genuine are the best words I can describe Brittany and she was the make it or break it of me staying to participate in the class. She honestly is amazing. After taking Heidi's 90-minute "Go-Row", I am truly astonished and I am not a fan of cardio. The class definitely challenges every part of your body and mental capacity, which is excellent for any class. I will definitely be returning within the next two weeks. CLK

Very well staffed, great coaches! Encouraging atomsphere and challenging exercises and modified exercises for those like me who are gimpy but want to keep exercising. Matt has been on top of problems and really good about fixing account issues. I highly recommend this studio in particular and definitely giving this exercise company a whirl if you have never been.

Love this Orange Theory! I have to say since being a member for a year I have seen great results. I am extremely fit from changing my work outs from running to weight training and running. I feel like even on your worst workout day you still exceed what you would do at other gyms. This location is also one of the best I have been to. Other OT's are smaller and some times you are on top of each other (not fun). This one has enough equipment and space to work out comfortably. Also, the trainers are wonderful but I think there are some great trainers at all the OTs. I highly recommend this gym and really can not believe there is a one star on here.

The idea that I know there's always a treadmill and floor exercise is great but I like that there's a different work out plan every time I go and that each session can still hit every part of my body. I also enjoy the challenges there are every month or even the themes. My biggest issue at my last gym was that I was getting bored. Here at OTF you guys keep it entertaining and emit a great culture for this location

OT has been such a great experience thus far! My little cousin has been a member for years and always talks so highly of this place! Not to mention, her body is looking stellar!
I decided to give it a go and absolutely LOVE IT! I've been a member at lifetime fitness and Xsport and mostly just lift weights. It has been a struggle this past year to find motivation to go workout or give it your best effort. The coaches at OT are awesome and push you the entire hour. Usually the class is half hour dedicated to endurance (treadmill/row) other half is strength training. The music is also bumpin and the OT clubs have some awesome themes going on each week.
