The staff here is great, I’ve been a member since 2021 and it’s the nicest/cleanest it’s ever been. Machines are well kept and other members usually keep to themselves. This is easily the best gym in the area

A great atmosphere for working out and getting your exercise in lot of work out equipment then they have the massage chairs which I really like Just a great place all around I highly recommend it and staff is very friendly and accommodating and they even have one on one training with a fitness coach. I am a Planet Fitness Black Card member, and I think the price can't be beaten for what you get. I can bring my spouse, and there are always machines available. The club is clean and a fun environment to achieve your physical fitness goals. Lastly, a Hydro Massage is a perfect treat after a good workout. Great job, PF of Danville!

PF Danville is very clean. Machines are never down or broken, people kind of keep to themselves but are also friendly. The staff is always very nice they always greet you and tell you to have a nice day. This is the only gym in the area that I genuinely am comfortable working out at.

I love the 30 minute circuit, the cross trainers, and the free weights at Planet Fitness. I also very much appreciate that Planet Fitness has a lot of other fitness equipment to keep me from getting bored. Lastly, the staff always greets me with a smile and a friendly word.

I love the staff they are always so welcoming. $ stars is just because someone like me who works 12 hour shifts at different times sometimes more could liek to be able to come when I can and so it not being open 24/7 makes it hard and closing early on the weekends mean I can rarely come then. But its always been clean and I love that I do not feel judged. If we could get longer hours it would great.

New management is taking great strides to make this location better. Staff is more attentive and actually greets you when you arrive. The fitness equipment is cleaner and last time I was in a young man was mopping - that's a nice change. The young kids working still congregate behind the counter and are on their phones a lot, but at least they look up now when I come in and say hello. The tanning bed rooms also appear to have been cleaned and walls wiped down where old tan lotion has been for months and months. Good job Drake!

Nice gym. My only problem is the staff does nothing but sit at the desk and talk all day. Sometimes they'll go workout but they're never friendly or helpful. Then when you have a question they act annoyed that you're interrupting their conversation. Also everyone is really good at sterilizing machines when they're done except the young guys that workout, they never clean the equipment or machines when they're done and the staff is too busy talking to each other to notice. Gross. I don't want to sit in your sweat dude, clean up.

I like the tv's and mass amount of treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes. There for awhile I seen a guy cleaning regularly, but he must have found another job because this location is back to not so clean. I also think that since Covid isn't at it's height gym members don't clean the machines after use. SO many reviews say the staff is friendly and there are unless it's the morning shift and girls are working. I am rarely ever greeted in the morning. The young blonde with glasses and wavy hair always has her back turned to the door and sitting on the counter looking on her phone (like most of the workers do) or talking with other workers every time I have been there whether I'm coming or going. Today I wanted to use the message chair and seen her when I came in, but 15 minutes into my workout I didn't see her. As I was leaving I looked and she was asleep bent over the counter. Not resting, but asleep. Another gym member walking in is what woke her. So I guess you can say the atmosphere is very relaxed in Danville.

Possibly the worst PF I’ve ever been to… either no one’s at the front desk or there’s 10 high schoolers. If there is someone at the desk, they are anything but friendly or helpful. I’ve never seen a worker cleaning here and equipment is all dusty and grimy; have seen the same used paper towel in a corner by a machine for a week. Tanning booths are disgusting and they hand you a spray bottle to clean it yourself. Bathrooms are ok, ‘clean’ doesn’t come to mind. I’ve been to dozens of PF across the nation and this has the most limited hours… closes at 7pm on the weekend? Unacceptable.

Update: They also let people break all the PF rules (or just common courtesy) of throwing weights, not reracking, leaving bags on the floor, training others, recording, and using all the equipment at one time.

I have been a member of Planet Fitness since they opened. I love the atmosphere but this time not so much. The gym obviously was not clean, most of the paper towels were out, and the floors looked as if they were not swept. The kicker for me was going to the restroom and there was no toilet paper. Luckily I had a backup plan. I don’t know what is going on but it needs to be addressed.

I've considered switching to another gym for only two reasons. 24 hour access, and one closer to home. The staff is very nice and tries very hard. The floors in the facility as well as women's bathroom and shower area needs a thorough sweeping and mopping. Not as clean as would be expected with all of the covid stuff.
