I have to work out close to peak hours and there are lots and lots and lots of people who spend an extended amount of time on a machine or bench, looking down at their phones. I think this really lacks consideration for others, it would not appear they need to be on the machine so long but they are getting distracted.

And/ or, PF could remove at least 30% of the cardio equipment and there would still never be a back up of people wanting to do cardio, and add more of the most popular machines - smith machines, adjustable cables, chest fly, glute extension, benches and free weights (ESPECIALLY benches and free weights!) These areas are VERY difficult to get time on, especially with the aforementioned issue.

Please also add a few hip thruster machines!

Two solid stars for the affordability and also cleanliness —- people do a great job of wiping down the equipment after they are done, and the overall facility is very clean.

This Planet Fitness is probably the cleanest PF I’ve ever been to. Ben, the worker present at the time, made sure this PF exceeded standard regulation and protocol. I recently visited the Planet Fitness in Des Plaines with my girlfriend and our son. Unfortunately, our experience was not what we expected. While we were in the process of signing up our son for a membership, he urgently needed to use the restroom due to a long journey. Despite explaining the situation, we were told that he could not enter the facility until the membership process was complete. This policy seemed extremely unreasonable and lacking compassion.

It was quite distressing to see how inflexible and unaccommodating the staff were in such a situation. As a result, both my girlfriend and I decided to cancel our memberships, and our son chose not to join at all. The customer service representative name was Hannah and I ask her to talk to with the manager and managers name was Carly when I told her that this was inhumane to let someone to suffer and I would like to cancel our membership due to this reason . And she did not even apologize and the other Hannah suggested my son to go the Jewel Osco market which is 1000 feet away for the restroom .

I hope that the management will take this feedback seriously and ensure better customer service and understanding in the future.

Second time visiting this gym. Hana was super nice and explained this location doesnt care if a member comes from another location with the black card. Many locations only allow 10 visits per month if your home gym is elsewhere. I thought when I signed up with the black card I could go to any location unlimited times.

While it's not a large gym, it offers all the necessary equipment and more. I personally prefer smaller, less expensive gyms; they achieve the same results without the high cost. Planet Fitness is affordable, clean, and even during busy times, there's sufficient equipment for everyone. I would highly recommend Planet Fitness.

This Planet Fitness location is hands-down the nastiest gym I’ve ever been to. The smell hits you as soon as you walk in—like a mix of sweat, mildew, and people who have never discovered deodorant. And no, it’s not just the equipment… it’s the people. It’s honestly shocking how little regard there is for basic hygiene here.

They proudly advertise themselves as a “Judgment Free Zone,” but let’s be real—it should be called the “Hygiene Free Zone.” I mean, how are you supposed to get a decent workout in when you’re busy trying not to gag?

I gave it a shot, but after a few visits, I had to cancel my membership. I just couldn’t take the stench anymore. If you’re looking for a clean, breathable environment to work out in, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place.

It's 24 hours but it's seems they have more treadmills than anything. They need more strength training equipment for chest, legs, and back, hammer strength plate loaded equipment to be exact. Kind of limited equipment, so I wouldn't come during the day because it's probably way too crowded.

They let a “transgender” (it was an obvious cis straight white teenage male who was being a creeper, he wasnt a part of the LGBTQ+ community which I AM A PART OF) try and forcefully enter my changing stall. I called the police, filed a report, and they banned me to be politically correct and protect the predator who was obviously trying to hurt me. They obviously dont have cameras in the locker rooms so they automatically took his side to “protect his rights” to attempt to kick into the stall I was changing in after he could obviously tell I was in there. What about my rights? This was last year and I re registered and went for an entire week until yesterday when they told me im banned for this incident which occurred last year, of which they never communicated I was banned. I WAS THE ONE TO CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP last year. My mistake to give them another chance
