Came in as a guest with another member. My first thought was I just wanted to walk right back out because it is normally a bad sign when an employee is talking bad about other employees and the customers to another group. This was all being done at the front desk. I over heard a guy in the group refer to the employee that was partaking in this as Carlos. The things this gentleman was saying definitely did not make me feel like this was a judgement freezone as well he was reading this group of people personal information from members profiles. This definitely does not make me want any of my information in the system. However I did decide to still rate 5 stars because for a gym that is opening 24 hours it was amazingly clean and well kept. I really considering a membership here but I could not see myself coming in here daily/nightly if this gentleman was at the counter especially with some of the cruel and unsafe things he was saying with the group about another employee….

They’re always polite and super supportive.
Whenever I have questions or need help, they have never failed to provide excellent costumer support!
I’ve been to other Planet Fitness Gyms (here and in Louisville) and have always felt comfortable with no issues but the Planet Fitness here on Sangamon Ave has been even better than those!

I come here almost 6 days a week after my fitness class across town that is also 6 days a week. I’m only able to do that because of the great atmosphere that the employees instill here.

As I continue on my fitness journey, I will be coming here for sure!

We’ve been working out at Planet Fitness on Sangamon for about a month and absolutely love this place! This gym is SO clean, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the hydromassage bed is the best ten minutes of my day! I also love that there are no contracts and the pricing is straightforward. Definitely recommend!

My best friend's mom works there and she is amazing. Ashley does an amazing job at keeping everything in place. AMAZING gym, I love going in and working out almost every day. This gym is one of the best ones that I have ever been too. Speaking for my best friend too. We both love this gym and we usually go when her mom works because we feel safe.

I’m extremely disappointed with how Planet Fitness handled a serious situation involving my fiancé. He was harassed by staff and other members, and when he reached out to corporate for help, instead of addressing the issue, they removed him from the gym entirely. They even left a negative note on his check-in status — something that’s supposed to be kept private and handled professionally. One of the employees went as far as having people harass him outside of the gym, and when corporate was made aware, they did everything possible to cover it up instead of taking responsibility. This location clearly doesn’t care about member safety or accountability, and corporate’s response was shameful.

hi general public i am writing this post out of desperation of how ive been treated at planet fitness . After 7 months i got my gym membership revoked because I brought up multiple issues . I left a review a few months ago complaining about staff and now this is the end result . They even put BAD REVIEW IN BRIGHT RED LETTERS under my check in . This is after I was harassed about my dad WHO I HADNT SPOKEN TO IN 25 YEARS. and complete breech of privacy and I was very uncomfortable. They are very very shady characters. STAY AWAY .

Tiffany is amazing , every time I see her she has a smile on her face and looks happy to be on work. She always gives a warm welcoming and tells me to have a good day when I leave. Any time I’ve had an issue with my account or anything she addressed it and actually seems to care. Even down to the little stuff like I noticed she noticed the women’s bathroom was out of soap and she immediately checked it and replaced it. (A lot of people of have left it on the next person or waited for a customer to mention it) she is a keeper give her a raise and a promotion!!!

This facility is newer but continues to stay very clean. I love the additional perks you get with the Black Card…massage chair, tanning, etc. The morning crew is very friendly and helpful. They are cleaning continuously where needed rather than waiting till the end of the shift or the end of the day. Shelby gave me a thorough tour explaining the different areas and machines rather than throwing me in there to figure it out myself and ask questions later.
