South Elgin Pure Barre is the absolute best palce to come workout! The owner Molly, and her entire team at this Pure Barre are absolutely incredible! They never seize to amaze me with their kindness, and ability to maintain a professional business outlook while also encouraging you to push through during your workout!

I have been going through a rough patch recently and each time I called to obtain help with my membership or any concerns I have they are always available via phone, and offer solutions/alternatives.

Molly went out of her way to speak with my on the phone when there was some clarifications I needed for myself, she scheduled a time to speak with me on the phone, she is extremely patient and understanding. Thank you so much Molly! I can only imagine what it takes to keep a business open.

I am forever blessed that I found this place back in January and am able to have a outlet for my good and bad days. Thank you ladies!! <3

I love coming to PB South Elgin! Ever since I signed up in 2022, the instructors and staff have all been incredibly welcoming. I am someone who hates working out, and PB is the only exercise routine I’ve been able to stick to and actually enjoy. The workouts are challenging and effective without being intimidating, and I definitely notice a difference in my strength and flexibility over time. I also love that the other women there are of all different ages, sizes, and fitness levels - no matter where you’re at in your fitness journey, PB can be tailored to your needs. Joining Pure Barre South Elgin (PBSE) has truly been one of the best decisions I've made for both my physical and mental well-being. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re welcomed with warmth, encouragement, and an energy that’s simply contagious.
The coaches at PBSE are absolutely incredible—not only are they knowledgeable and passionate about what they do, but they’re also some of the kindest, most uplifting people you’ll meet. They take time to know you personally, offer modifications when needed, and always cheer you on.
Physically, the classes have transformed my strength, flexibility, and endurance. Each workout is thoughtfully designed to challenge you in the best way, leaving you feeling stronger and more empowered after every session. But what I didn’t expect was how much it would improve my mental health. This past year has been really tough and PBSE was an anchor for me.
And the community at PBSE is just amazing. It’s a space filled with positivity, support, and shared goals. Whether you’re brand new or a long-time member, you’ll feel like part of a team that truly cares about one another.

After I broke my clavicle in two places while volunteering at an animal shelter I found it very difficult to get back into working out. At that point I discovered Pure Barre in South Elgin. I drove by it a couple of times and finally gained the courage to walk in the door. The first person I spoke to was Becky. I told her the cliff notes of my injury and difficult road recovery. She was very encouraging so I signed up for a free class the following week. During that class I saw the support and encouragement of not only the instructor but the amazing women that took the class. I was hooked from then on out and signed up for the unlimited membership. Pure Barre, its instructors and fellow members, helped me get my confidence and body back, I feel so much better not only physically but mentally. I’ll forever be a member of this amazing community! 💕

Pure Barre has become my go-to weekly workout because, after three years, I’ve never stopped seeing results. With a variety of classes and constantly changing choreography, the workouts are always challenging and the results are obvious. As someone who was very nervous about restarting my fitness journey after an extremely long, unplanned hiatus, I am so glad I decided to take the plunge and become a Pure Barre member. I have never felt uncomfortable in any class, every instructor is so kind, helpful, and willing to offer modifications, which I still very much need, and moreover, I've met some amazing like-minded women and found a sense of community I'd been searching for. I enjoy the variety of classes offered and the fact that the routines change frequently, which keeps classes from feeling stagnant. LOVE Pure Barre South Elgin! Been going 3-6Xs/week since June & this 50 yo feels strong. Cannot say enough about the instructors! They are SO good & helpful. I’m so happy I found Pure Barre South Elgin. My job in analytics requires long time sitting and looking at the screen. With other risk factors and pre-disposed disease, my doctor prescribed “low to medium impact exercise regularly”. I had done Yoga, Pilate, Zumba, Step aerobics and dance over the years, but was not able to keep doing it due to various reasons, until I found Pure Barre in February last year. It blends all elements of exercises into one effective full body workout, the perfect type of exercise for me. What’s amazing is it’s conveniently located in the Thornwood neighborhood where I live. Post COVID, work migrated from office to hybrid which gave me great flexibility. Now I can take advantage of lunch time break to hit the gym 3-4 times a week. I feel more energetic in the afternoon and able to stay focused. I just made my milestone of 250 classes today. I want to say THANK YOU to PBSE coaches and staff for making it such a wonderful place to help me stay healthy and fit. I can’t recommend it enough to anyone who is looking to make an impact on your own health.

Started at Pure Barre South Elgin 7 weeks Postpartum with my second baby. I have done different barre classes at other studios, however nothing compares to the community that Molly and her team have made here! From day one I have felt part of the community and have been able to connect with so many members. From personal texts cheering me on through milestones, constant tags on social media, and endless shoutouts during classes, I know I have a team behind me helping me achieve my goals!
I was so inspired by the 5 am ladies, that I even pushed myself to complete the Platinum Barre Challenge! (Only 12 classes left 🤗)

If you want fast results try Pure Barre! I have a hard time staying committed to a workout, and this is a really good workout without being unbearable. I just hit 20 classes (3-4/week), and even my fiance noticed ive been looking more "toned", which is big for me :) They have a large variety of classes which make it perfect for me to have variety throughout the week. The instructors are encouraging and correct your form to make sure you're getting the most of your workout. You can tell everyone here truly loves PB

The top words that come to mind when I think of Pure Barre are "addictive" and "feel good." It is the perfect exercise for women as it's low impact yet effective and you could do it forever! It was recommended by a friend who had tried everything and stuck with Pure Barre after seeing results! After only 10 classes, I also saw a difference in how toned my entire body was becoming and noticed an increase in flexibility, coordination and strength (all things I need to work on.) I joined Pure Barre in South Elgin four months ago and it was the best decision I made. I was hesitant because I was nearing my 70TH decade and wasn’t sure if I could handle it. It was difficult at first, but everyone there is so kind and they help you move at your own pace and help you make adjustments as needed. What I love about the classes is you work every muscle group in each of the different classes that they offer. I am noticibly stronger and my muscles are much more toned in the short time I have been going. There are all different age groups that attend the classes and no one is judgemental. It is truly a wonderful place to work out, with many knowledgeable and talented instructors.

I stumbled upon Pure Barre thanks to a friend who insisted I give it a try, and let me tell you, it has been a game-changer for my fitness routine! Prior to joining PB, I'd been an avid runner and practiced a lot of at-home resistance strength training to balance my routine. I've never been much of a gym, let alone group fitness person, so I was a little skeptical about adding barre to the mix. Long story short, Pure Barre has completely won me over.

First and foremost, the sense of community at Pure Barre is unparalleled. The instructors are not only knowledgeable and motivating but also incredibly supportive both inside and outside of the studio. From day one, they've been a positive force, making me feel welcome and encouraged. The camaraderie among fellow members and PB staff adds an extra layer of motivation, creating a friendly and inclusive environment that I truly appreciate.

As a runner, cross-training is key to preventing injuries, and Pure Barre has become my go-to for strength and flexibility. The unique blend of movements, stretching, balance and core work has definitely improved my overall fitness. Plus, despite my headspace going into class, I leave refreshed and ready to take on the day (or what's left of it!)

It's worth mentioning that Pure Barre has a variety of classes, and the instructors always keep it fresh! The studio itself is clean and equipped with everything you need for a great workout (and maybe a tea or coffee before/after). You can tell that Molly and her team truly care about their members, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.

Pure Barre has exceeded my expectations in every way. It's not just a workout – it's a community, a challenge, and a source of genuine joy. I wholeheartedly recommend Pure Barre to anyone looking for a fun and effective way to enhance their fitness journey. I'm so glad I made the decision to join 1.5 years ago!

Pure Barre has changed my life. For REAL! I never enjoyed group fitness classes... okay, I HATED them before Pure Barre South Elgin. I could never find consistent motivation to workout at a gym since having my kids 9 years ago. For the first time in years I look forward to exercise!

The classes feel like hanging out with your friends while doing something wonderful for your health. The classes go by quickly and the teachers encourage you to work at your level and don't make you feel like a failure if something is hard. The entire staff is AMAZING and teachers like Wendy, Janelle, and Becky keep you laughing while pushing you to give your best every day.

I haven't felt this good since college as ballet and modern dancer. I sleep better at night, I have more energy, and I have more strength. This is the best thing you will do for your body, mind, and soul. Pure Barre South Elgin has created such a beautify community. You will never regret investing in yourself and this location is worth every bit of that investment.

Pure Barre was a workout I never knew I needed. It is challenging, but I always feel so proud and accomplished after a class! I truly love the classic classes as the low impact, HIGH energy is perfect for someone like me who has PCOS and need slowed workouts. TRUST me when I say you’ll be sweating. Bring a towel, hehe.

I have been doing Pure Barre for six (🤯) years now, and recently moved back to the area and was stoked to learn there was a new South Elgin location so close to home!

The staff and community here are so supportive and welcoming, and the workout is always fun and challenging and easy to tweak to fit how your body is feeling each day while still getting in a killer workout! With a bunch of class types offered throughout the day, there's always something to fit your schedule, too.

I work here so obviously I’m a bit biased but this is my favorite workout I’ve found in years, and I’ve done it all. I like how inclusive this studio is and it comes from ownership down. No one is “too out of shape” to do this workout and I love all the stretching. My pelvic floor has never been stronger and my sleep is less disturbed now that I dropped my HIIT workouts!

It’s a tough workout in the best way! You feel the burn! I didn’t have experience with barre when I started but the instructors are so great with helping to teach you the different moves.
