A Studio That Feels Like Home!
My daughter has been dancing at The Rebecca McCarthy School of Dance for the past 7 years, and I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this studio. From her first Creative Dance class to now, the studio has become our second home.

The instructors are not only exceptionally talented, but also deeply committed to nurturing each dancer’s growth — both technically and personally. They strike the perfect balance between pushing the students to be their best while also supporting them with kindness and encouragement. Over the years, I’ve watched my daughter grow into a confident, graceful, and resilient dancer. I credit the instructors for much of this growth.

The instructors choreography is creative and challenging, and the performances are always polished, professional, and full of heart.

But what sets this studio apart most is the sense of family. The camaraderie among dancers, the support among parents, and the dedication of the staff have created a truly special community. It’s a place where lifelong friendships are formed and unforgettable memories are made.

I don’t even know where to begin! Our experience at RMSD has been nothing short of wonderful.

Both of my girls dance at this studio and it has been such a positive experience for them. They have gained confidence in themselves and their dance skills which has been so sweet to watch.

The instructors are fantastic! Everyone here is so welcoming and kind - they truly care about the dancers. There is a true family feel and I love that.

What stands out the most is how dedicated Rebecca is to all the dancers and families. She shows so much care, interest and concern for each dancer. You can tell how much she wants everyone to succeed and grow and that means so much.

I would HIGHLY recommend this studio to anyone. We are so grateful to be a part of RMSD! ❤️

We signed up our oldest Child back in 2017 for jazz/tap.. she saw the Irish dancers and never looked back..

since then she has continually taken multiple style dance classes and joined the Mc Dance company. She has also been offered an apprentice type of program helping the younger dancers during classes..

Over the years our oldest has learned to work as a team, responsibility, conditioning, time management, resolving differences, and responsibility..

Our youngest started creative dance last year and is all in with Rebecca McCarthy School of Dance.. she looks up to all the dancers and the staff and looks forward to dance class each week..

Rebecca McCarthy school of dance is a comfortable, warm, and inviting environment for all who desire to be part of a team and family environment and look forward to working on their craft and technique..

When I drop my daughter off at RMSD it is nice to see so many happy little faces. It is also comforting to know that Rebecca McCarthy School of Dance has installed the highest quality of air purifiers and air scrubbers and ALWAYS has the best interest of all her dancers at heart.

My kids absolutely loved dancing with Miss Rebecca! She is kind and patient while teaching technique and helping kids grow as dancers. This is a place where they felt comfortable and welcomed from the second they walked in. Thank you for developing their skills and making it fun at the same time!

With all of the bad and negative that’s been going on in the year 2020, Rebecca McCarthy School of Dance has been a HUGE positive that my family is so grateful for. Rebecca has AP 3000 purifiers placed throughout the studio which makes me feel comfortable with my daughter going into the studio during these times. I also know that I’m leaving my daughter in good hands when I drop her off at dance. The teachers at RMSD teach their students to dance while building a relationship with them so that it’s easy to motivate them to be the best dancers that they can be. I have also watched older dancers help teach the younger dancers in class which teaches the older dancers how to be leaders and roll models to the younger dancers, not to mention that my daughter thinks she’s cool when hanging with the “older girls” who are so sweet to her. All good things to say about this studio!

Rebecca McCarthy School of Dance is a wonderful, professional, and family oriented dance studio. The studio makes everyone that walks in feel like family. Hands down the best studio in the area. We researched and visited many studios around but nothing compared to RMSD. My daughter’s dance career started right before her 2nd birthday and she has loved all her instructors every step of the way.

Our daughter started ballet at 18 months and intermittently participated at another studio in town and at the park district. When she was 3, we started her with Rebecca McCarthy. This is where her love for dance truly fostered! She immediately took to Rebecca and the studio, and is in her 3rd year of dancing with no end in sight (which we're excited about)! Our experience with RMSD has been nothing short of wonderful. The program is excellent, the instructors are phenomenal. Everything is organized, articulate, and well thought out- the schedule, special events, picture day, recital, etc. The energy and passion Rebecca has shows in all she does, and most importantly, shows in the dancers. We are grateful to be here and highly recommend.

We have been with the Rebecca McCarthy School of Dance for 7 years now and both my daughters LOVE it!! I researched many studios in the area and RMSD was by far the best! They offer a wide variety of dance styles, the instructors are very professional, structured, and great with kids. Every time my daughter performs with the dance company at different events, spectators will come up and say how wonderful the dancers are and how impressed they are! I have recommended this studio to many families and will continue to do so. We are so lucky to have a studio that makes us feel like we are a part of their dance family!

Rebecca McCarthy School of Dance has come to our preschool for the last couple years during March (St. Patrick's Day Season) and we have ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!! She teaches the children all about St. Patrick's Day and teaches them all Irish Dancing! What a great program this dance studio has!
