I've been a student at RGF doing aerial hoop for 5 years (wow 5 already!). They really have established the most welcoming and inviting environment for students of all ability levels. All of the staff are so supportive and willing to help in any way they can in nice, low stress classes. Even if I'm having a bad day, I know everyone here will be there for me and support me.

I joined RGF a year ago after moving back home to the area, and was looking for a new pole home. From the day I joined, I have been in such a fun and welcoming community with some great people. The instructors are great, recognize every body is different, and celebrate our differences while also teaching us a lot. I also feel like the pricing is pretty reasonable considering I do two apparatuses, and am in the studio multiple days out of the week. This is definitely a great place to be!

The instructors are incredibly skilled, supportive, and passionate about helping students build strength, confidence, and grace through pole fitness, aerial, and flexibility training. Each class is thoughtfully structured to challenge you while still being fun and encouraging, making it easy to see your progress both physically and mentally. The studio itself is clean, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything you need for a safe and inspiring workout experience. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, every class feels inclusive and uplifting.

What really makes Rising Goddess Fitness stand out is the positive, community-focused atmosphere it fosters. The instructors and fellow members cheer each other on, creating a space that’s not only about fitness but also self-expression and empowerment. You can tell the team genuinely cares about every student’s journey, taking time to guide, motivate, and celebrate small victories along the way. It’s more than just a fitness studio — it’s a place where you can grow stronger, more confident, and more connected. Rising Goddess Fitness truly lives up to its name, helping everyone who walks in feel like the best version of themselves.

I’ve been a student at RGF for almost three years now as I’ve worked my way up from beginner to more advanced on pole, hammock and hoop. The environment is SO friendly and inviting, which includes the owners, instructors, staff and other students. We learn, create, play, and grow together, and are all each other’s best cheerleaders along the way! I would highly recommend RGF for anyone at any skill level.

I had an amazing experience with this place until it was time to cancel. It’s like a gym membership, they make it so hard to cancel. Not to mention, you are paying for this membership every 28 days, so basically 13 months per year.

The instructors were great and made each class a fun time, but it just didn’t seem worth it to me. I paid for a membership and when it neared the end, I inquired about cancelling. I spoke to a staff member who convinced me to do another month, which was fine. I was in agreement and let her know that I would probably still be cancelling after that. She stated that I can cancel the next membership, and that I would just reach out to them to cancel. Not once during this interaction, did she let me know I needed to cancel 28 days before the renewal.

I have a class on a Friday and my membership is supposed to renew on Monday. At this class, I explicitly stated that I would NOT like to renew my membership and I was told “a member of management will reach out to you.” Fine. No one reaches out ALL WEEKEND, despite the fact that I messaged them on Sunday to be sure that I would not be charged. Monday rolls around and I am charged the full $119. A member of management Laurial decided to reach out to me on Monday (I have a class this day) after I was charged to let me know that it was too late to cancel and the charge cannot be undone. At this point, I was extremely irritated and unfortunately I had to be snippy with Laurial about this matter. She tried to overpower me by informing me that she’s the owner, as if I would back down about getting my refund. I explicitly stated to her that I need to cancel and I need a refund immediately. The student should not have to pay because you and your staff did not approach the situation correctly. She did end up giving me a refund under the terms that I cancel the Monday class, even though it was scheduled under the current membership.

Laurial really put a bad taste in my mouth and I would never return or recommend this place to anyone again.

I could not love this place any more. My biggest regret is not finding them and starting 10 years ago. Rising Goddess is a fun, supportive, and caring environment. There is truly something for everyone. The instructors are all WONDERFUL. I look forward to classes so, so much. RGF is the best place to get fit, have a great time, and look and feel sexy while doing it! IF I COULD LIVE HERE, I WOULD.

I have my last beginners pole fitness class tomorrow, and am excited to continue on this journey and signed up for membership after the first class. The teacher is awesome! Front desk lady is super sweet!!! But I wish I could give more stars because this place CARES!!!

I was signed up for last months beginner class, and during that time, my grandmother was bedridden on hospice care. I was going there 6 days a week to take care of her and was honestly an emotional wreck. As gratifying as it is to care for someone in the last moments of their life, It is also very hard thing to witness. The day I was supposed to start last month I felt so burnt out and kept talking myself into going, but I just was not feeling it. I thought About just not showing up or calling to cancel and just losing out on the $90 that it cost for the beginner class. My husband told me to just call and explain my situation and see if I can switch to the next month. To my surprise, they accepted my request and told me to feel better.

My grandma literally passed away two days before the first class this month, So it was very good timing honestly. Well, the other day I checked my mail and there was a handwritten note giving condolences for my loss. Honestly, it is little touches like that. That makes such a huge difference.. I am very glad that I signed up to continue this journey with them, and I am so grateful to be part of a group of people who give a crap About other people!!!

The place itself is clean, and has a cozy atmosphere with fun little touches that make it feel very much like a community!!! I highly recommend this place.

I have been a member for 6 months, and chose Rising Goddess for the atmosphere, sense of community, and willingness to accommodate all body types and abilities. Office staff and instructors are kind, patient, and flexible, and you can reach them by text if you're more comfortable communicating that way. Newcomers to the studio are provided with a tour and explanation of the other classes available.

The classes are a lot of fun, starting with a wraparound question or meditation, warm-up, then the introduction of new moves with choreography. Modifications are offered to suit each person's ability and comfort level. Class ends with free dance time, where you are welcome to improvise, incorporating any of the moves you have been cleared for. Each person can record their dance to track their progress or share on social media, with the consent of all others nearby.

Finally, the community I've found there is amazing! There are pop-up party classes, studio-wide celebrations, and the front lobby is a place where you can just hang out before/after class.

If you're looking to make connections and learn aerial arts in an open-minded environment, I highly recommend Rising Goddess!

Anyone I tell about this studio the first thing I tell them is how incredibly welcoming Rising Goddess is. I've been a member of RGF since they opened. I highly recommend them if you are looking for an aerial arts and flow studio with a wonderful community atmosphere. They reflect on class offerings, curriculum, and their members' needs and adjust to keep it fresh and engaging for all members, new and old. During the pandemic they have made safety and connection a top priority by offering virtual classes and virtual social gatherings. The physical space is comfortable and inviting. Instructors are knowledgable and well-trained. My favorite classes have been aerial hammocks, hula hooping, yoga, and barre.

Adding to my older review, the studio is now in it's 11th year and still going strong. They continue to train excellent teachers. They keep the focus on welcoming all individuals into a supportive community of fun and learning. I've added Lyra as another favorite class. I highly recommend trying the studio if you have an interest or curiosity about the aerial arts.

I've been a student at RGF since April 2024, and honestly I love it here!!!

The studio itself is very spacious, very clean, and always smells of organic healing. When you walk in, you're greeted with cheer from someone at the front desk, and it's just such a welcoming atmosphere. The instructors are amazing, and do a great job at meeting us students where we are at. I feel seen and supported in every single class (currently taking pole and aerial hoop).

I highly recommend this place to anyone who is considering it. Whether your why be to build confidence, make friends, challenge yourself mentally, feel strong physically, to learn something new - RGF is definitely the place to do so.

I'm so grateful to be part of the RGF community. It's full of some really wonderful, creative and talented women! And if you're scared, do it anyway. I was nervous to commit at first and honestly, I've upgraded my membership at least twice since starting haha. I really love it here 💙

Been going to pole here since February 2024. The environment and the instructors are so supportive and empowering! While I'm often the person in class who "gets" a skill last, no one has ever made me feel like I'm behind. My time at the studio has really influenced my daily mindset, and has helped me better be proud of and more kind to myself and my body. I also had a great birthday party here planned by my bestie in September, and it was so much fun to share the experience of poling with my closest friends.

I have been going to RGF for almost 2 years. I love the variety of classes and workshops including restorative yoga, chair dance, and wall dance to name a few. Oh, and I cannot forget about Shelf Indulgence, the monthly book club, or the pop-up parties, holiday themed events, and the AMAZING space for gatherings. It was perfect for my daughter’s Bridal Shower!

The recently renovated space is one where I get to be me. It is a place where I am encouraged to be curious instead of judgmental. I am encouraged to come as I am. Time and again I leave feeling like I (finally) exhaled. I feel centered, empowered, and beautiful. Because of RGF, I am more comfortable in my own skin and appreciative of the MANY ways my body "shows up" for me every day. The instructors are real; they instruct and support. They encourage creativity and individuality. They are inclusive, welcoming questions and sharing feedback and modifications.

Another thing I found at RGF is community. I didn’t even know I was missing this in my life until I found it here. My fellow goddesses and I laugh, learn, and strut our stuff unapologetically. We’re silly, serious, and take more than our fair share of selfies.
I saw this quote in the studio at my first pole foundations class: “The journey in between what you once were and who you are now becoming is where the dance of life takes place.” ― Barbara De Angelis. I’m loving who I am becoming! Thank you RGF!

I started taking classes at Rising Goddess about 10 years ago. I signed up for a pole class because it was something most people wouldn’t expect from me. I needed to do something that was out of my comfort zone. I wasn’t 100% sure after my first class but the instructors and owners were kind and inviting. The foundations classes are appropriately leveled for beginners with no experience necessary. The curriculum helps build strength and confidence. I came back week after week because I could see small amounts of progress. I got stronger. I got more flexible. I got healthier. I made friends. I learned to dance without fear or judgment. Dance like no one is watching. Rising Goddess is like my second home.

Class levels are offered from Beginning to Advanced with something for all abilities. The main class offerings are Pole, Hammocks, and Lyra, but they also have a wide variety of fun spin off classes (heels, spin pole, chair, flexibility, general fitness).

Absolute waste of time and money. If you divide the cost of the packs of classes that you can purchase by the number of classes that you get, you get a giant and straight up scam. The price for a "deal" that they have on their website for each class is $30 for a total of ten classes. Hop on over to a completely different place, and their classes go for as little as $20 per class.

Dont bother with this sham. They promote all of the wrong things and try to play it off as something that will "free" you and make you "return to your youth" while they blatantly vacuum money out of your pockets for classes that are 80% worthless meditations that nobody really cares about or ever asked for in the first place, on top of movements and tricks that are done one at a time and for some reason take multiple classes to learn. From personal experience, there are far better places if you genuinely want to learn how to actually pole dance and actually progress at your own pace without the extremely cut and dry schedule this place provides. To top it all off, the "body positivity" this place provides is nothing but fake. They consistently talk about all of the things you need to remind yourself in order to "love" yourself and accept yourself for who you are, while simultaneously doing none of that through their classes and creating some extremely rigid and sterile structure that doesnt provide any actual fun and passion that they so desperately try to advertise. If you want a place where middle aged women are "seeking" to find themselves again through perpetuating fake positivity and pointless exercises then this is definitely the place for you.

Edit: this place also comes across as them needing to "fix" you or "empower" you and thats the reason why you came there in the first place. Rather than creating an environment where you just have fun and learn for the people that already love themselves, it comes off as this terrible hoobie-eastern medicine therapy session to "relearn" how to love yourself

This is an amazing studio with lots of amenities. 2 studios with 12 poles, 1 aerial studio with hammocks and lyras, and 1 open studio for floor, chair, or other activities not requiring permanent equipment. There's also a full kitchen for parties or member get togethers. It's 45 minutes from my house, which has discouraged me in past years, but I'm so glad I made it in, and I am looking forward to continuing on as a member.

In between my regular classes, I have taken their pole and aerial fit classes which has been very beneficial to me as it helps tone, learn control and build muscle. I have taken different types of workshops and movement classes to enhance my practice. Which also all have been very fun! I plan on trying their chair dance in the near future as I hear great things about it. Not only have I gotten stronger physically but mentally as well. Above all, the relationships I have here are ones that I will forever cherish. It is an amazing community and everyone is there to support you and your goals.

I am incredibly grateful for this pole dancing studio - it's been a transformative experience for me thus far! From my very first visit, I felt a warmth and acceptance that made me instantly at ease. The instructors here are not only skilled and knowledgeable, but they also have an amazing ability to connect with students on a personal level.

As someone who was initially nervous about trying pole dancing, the supportive atmosphere made a world of difference. The instructors patiently guide you through each step, celebrating every small victory along the way. It's more than just a workout; it's a community that uplifts and encourages.

The studio space itself is inviting and comfortable, creating the perfect environment to explore new moves and push your boundaries. No matter your skill level, you're met with understanding and encouragement. Every struggle has been an opportunity to learn. The variety of classes ensures there's always something new to learn and challenges to conquer, I haven't hammock, hopping or chair yet. But one day, I will plan to ;).

I've seen remarkable improvements in my strength and confidence since joining. The choreography is both artistic and empowering, allowing you to express yourself freely. What sets this studio apart is the genuine care they have for their students' progress and well-being. The students are also amazing, and have taught me some skills when I'm stuck. I can go on all day, this place is incredibly healing!

If you're seeking a place to grow physically and mentally, I can't recommend this studio enough. It's not just about pole dancing; it's about embracing your journey and finding your inner strength.

Discovering Rising Goddess was life changing! Not only did I fall in love with Aerial Hammocks, but I fell in love with myself. There is just something about watching yourself week after week progress, grow, and change. After a few weeks you start to recognize the woman in the mirror is you, and you love how beautiful she is.

The structuring of the classes make everything so accessible, even with no prior dance background. The instructors are there to help you through the struggles and celebrate the wins- and EVERYONE CELEBRATES THE WINS! At any given time you can walk through the studio and here all the cheers, claps and celebrations from each class. RGF has become a needed escape and anytime I walk in I feel like I am home. Being part of a community that fully encourages you to discover your authentic self, and just be you is transformational. Words will never fully express how grateful I am to Lauriel and Michelle for creating such a magical place and to the community for helping me see my value again.

Rising Goddess Fitness is an amazing GIANT heavenly space for learning many different forms of aerial arts to stay fit in a very fun way. The lovely environment is warm, welcoming & accepting of everyone, no matter your shape, size, or fitness level. I have fallen deeply in love with lyra (aerial hoop) & aerial hammocks... they are wonderful forms of exercise that put you in a state of euphoria that leaves you craving for more. It's easy to become obsessed with aerial arts, especially with their HIGH ceilings. They also offer children's classes, hula hoop, yoga, stretching, pilates intense interval training, pole dance & even a book club. They offer fun parties & have innovative ideas for encouraging healthy movement & community. The owners are very sweet & kind. This is a wonderful place to experience movement in an exquisite way that lifts your soul & makes you feel on top of the world. Try it with a friend or family member. You'll be so glad you did.

I absolutely love Rising Goddess Fitness! If you are interested in trying Pole Fitness, Aerial Hammocks, and/or Aerial Hoops this is your place! The staff is wonderfully kind and go above and beyond to create a community of self-loving and empowered individuals. I have made so many new friends by coming to classes and it has been so fun to be in a space that feels like it was made for us! They were also able to quickly adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic by offering online classes via Zoom - which I don't know how I would have survived the first lockdown without them!

Team RGF all the way, come join our community!

Signing up with Rising Goddess Fitness is the best decision I've ever made! There are not too many places an adult can try a new physical activity without feeling they started too late in the game. RGF welcomes all newcomers no matter where they are in their fitness journey and creates a safe environment to explore talents you may not have known you had. Every day I walk into this studio, I surprise myself by unleashing new strengths.

I'd be crazy not to also mention the friendships and sense of community you build along the way. The girls at this studio are genuinely welcoming, inspiring, and motivating, celebrating every victory with you no matter how big or small. Over the past 2 years, this studio has become my home away from home. I 100% say go for it if you are hesitant about signing up.

RGF is basically a second family at this point. I started here over 6 years ago with the intention of trying out a few classes. Years later I can honestly say there no place I’d rather spend my free time or money. Most of my friends are here, and that’s coming from someone who started this journey by herself. I didn’t know anyone going in and now the majority of my social life is planned around my fellow goddesses. Not only has RGF changed my social world but my body as well. It’s really all about how you can improve your own skills and not about how you compare to any of your peers. This is a supportive environment where you work on yourself with others to cheer you on. It’s honestly life changing and I cannot say enough good things about the staff and participants here.

This place is so amazing. When I started, I was very out of shape. I had been working from home for a few years and never exercised because I would get bored after 5 mins. Everyone from the instructors to the owners to your classmates are so supportive and welcoming! I was so self conscious when I started but no one judged me and I fell in love with the classes! I’m in so much better shape now and I’m never bored! I actually get sad when I have to miss a class! Highly recommended!

This studio is absolutely amazing. I’ve been coming here for over three years now for pole fitness and aerial hoop (lyra). Though I spent four years at another studio in the beginning, it wasn’t until I came here that I actually started to grow and become better skill-wise. They have a great variety of classes for beginner through advanced level students. The owners are incredibly passionate about the business and students are always a number one priority. I would highly recommend this studio for anyone looking to start or continue their aerial fitness journey.

I seriously can't say enough great things about RGF! I started taking Aerial Hoop classes this summer, and I'm OBSESSED. As someone with very little dance/yoga background, I really appreciate the finesse with which the instructors design the Foundations and Beginner level classes so that everyone can feel successful, empowered and strong. It seems like for every move we learn, there's a modified version for those of us who aren't quite ready and a challenging version for those of us who want an extra push. Classes are laid-back and fun - but still an excellent workout. There's a definite sense of community, and I love the supportive, judgement-free environment. Love love LOVE Rising Goddess!

When purchasing the set of foundation series classes, it was very misleading not only on the website but also when I asked in class to confirm after the first session if we will climb the pole... Michelle had stated we would.

With that being said I WASTED my money on two sessions & driving all the way there learning the most BASIC things and barely even did anything on the pole. When I go to express my opinions Michelle was extremely unprofessional and rude stating there was “nothing she could do.” And “sorry I didn’t like the class.” But I had clearly asked if we would learn how to climb the pole and she proceeds to tell me yes, but that was a lie. We learned the same routine two days... added maybe three things. Bascially learned how to hip circle for two hours. Such a waste of money.
The description of this class misleading I never knew there was such a thing as a PRE beginners class but this was that. Such a waste.

I’d like a refund on the two classes.

Whoever finds this helpful , I suggest visiting bombshell movement studio. Way more professional environment.

I love Rising Goddess! Michelle and Laurial are phenomenal owners. All of the instructors are just as fabulous. I have always felt welcomed here, and have never felt excluded. I have come to classes feeling super down because of things happening in my life, or I’ve been just feeling down on myself period, but have left classes feeling refreshed afterwards. That’s what this studio is. REFRESHING. I’ve always felt love and support from the owners, the instructors, and fellow classmates.
I have so much fun in class, and I am stronger and more confident because of pole.
If you want to feel great, sexy, gain strength, confidence, and friendships, this is the place you need to be.

Almost one year ago, I tried the snapshot of aerial hammocks, and I loved it! It is quite challenging, but the teachers are very understanding of our varying levels of strength, ability, and experience. In 11 months, I've seen drastic improvement, have lost weight, gained muscle and flexibility, and have met and befriended so many new people. I love RGF!! 💗💗

Michelle & Laurial are incredible instructors. I own a studio in WI and bring them up to my location to train my staff on aerial hammock. They give clear verbal cues and do an outstanding job of breaking down combinations into manageable chunks. I highly recommend studying with them!

I love Rising Goddess Fitness and I'm continually recommending it to all my friends. It's a fun and unique way to work out! I sometimes dread going to the gym or going for a run, but knowing I have a class is often the highlight of my day.

The instructors are great, genuinely interested in your improvement which also carries over to your fellow students. It's not just about exercise, it's also about the community that is fostered here.

I will warn you that aerial is addicting! I started out going to one class a week and now I try to fit as many as I can cram into my schedule. But I'm probably in the best shape of my life and better yet, the most content I've been with my body, and all thanks to my tribe at Rising Goddess Fitness.

Rising Goddes Fitness has become my home away from home. I started poling at a different studio, but switched to RGF mainly because of it being closer to my home. After six months there, I've started taking hammocks and lyra (aerial hoop) as well, plus started taking hula hoop classes. The owners and instructors are so incredible - it's clear they all care about their students as people, not just as numbers. I've cried with them, laughed with them - basically, this is my second family, my way to get healthy (physically, emotionally, and spiritually). The community that's sprung up in the studio is so incredibly supportive and fun.

I'm moving to Hawaii next month, and RGF was #2 on my 'reasons not to move' list. #1 was my family. If that doesn't give you an idea of how incredible this place is, I don't know what could!

Give it a try, even if you have no athletic or dance background. It's an incredible workout, incredible fun, and incredible way to get in touch with the person inside of you you never knew you had.

(And if you open an RGF Honolulu edition, I'll be first in the door!!)

I have been going to Rising Goddess Fitness for just about a year now. It has been an AMAZING, life changing experience for me! I never thought you would see me doing any form of AERIAL DANCE. My two FAVORITE classes at RGF are Aerial HAMMOCKS and Aerial POLE! These two classes have changed my body and mind for the better! I have gone from a size 8 to a size 0-2 in 9 months! RGF has many other classes like Hoop, TRX, Piyo and Lyra. They are AWESOME too! The environment is so welcoming for Men, Women, Teens and Children! Let your inner Goddess out! You will not regret it!
