From the moment we met Karen and Dan, I felt right at home. They were super friendly, easy to talk to and made sure we were happy. They continued to say “this is your day” and made every accommodation possible. We were drawn to The Riviera because of this. The pricing was affordable, the food was great and they have a beautiful gazebo with a view for an outdoor ceremony. Karen answered emails promptly and we never felt rushed in any decision we made. Come wedding day, we experienced challenges, however Karen and Dan expertly guided us and ensured everything stayed on schedule and things ran smoothly. It was perfect and we are so happy with our choice. It was filled with love, and laughter. Our family and friends are still talking about how much fun they had at our wedding. Thank you Karen and Dan for all your help in making our day special and unique to us.

I went to this Banquet Hall because I was performing there with my Band. It looked nice from the outside and smelled like flowers. The inside was clean. The food was not that good. Plenty of parking. I had the chicken and it was extremely dry with no flavor. Some others had the steak but they only had two options. One was medium and the other one was well done. I personally would not have anything at that Banquet Hall because of the food.

I recently had my wedding at the Riviera. They made my day wonderful. Karen was there for us every step of the way. Their wedding package is one you just can't find anywhere else. We had an amazing wedding and appreciate how hard the staff worked! I had nothing to worry about once we got there. All I needed to do was focus on my husband, Riviera took my worries and stress for me so I could enjoy our day. Thank you Karen and the staff who helped at our event!

If only I could give this place less of a rating. It's falling apart, and I mean literally. Holes in the roof that let any small amount of rain through. Most facilities have not been updated in years, it shows in the locker rooms and pool area.

Great atmosphere with am amazing amount of things to do. Indoor and outdoor pool with water slide and poolside food service, jacuzzi, steam, enormous amount of weight lifting equipment and machines, giant locker rooms with showers,tennis, boxing, indoor track, women's only area, fitness classes, ping pong, Gatto's restaurant attached, and much more!

My husband and I had our wedding here on June 14, 2016 and could not have asked for anything better. From the first time I walked in and spoke with Karen I knew things would run smoothly and that she cared about us as people and not as an amount of money they will profit off of. The food was amazing, the bar/ wait staff went above and beyond and Dan and Karen made sure everyone was taken care of at all times throughout the planning all the way down to when the night was over. I honestly could not have asked for a better place. They treat you like family and even calm you down when you need it, just because they know not because you ask.

The staff at Riviera Country Club were always so accommodating! We started planning our wedding in February 2015 and had our wedding in September. It turned out exactly how we wanted it! Everything was perfect. The gazebo was such a gorgeous place to have our ceremony, everyone loved it! The food was fantastic, and all of our guests raved about how well everything turned out. The bar staff was really friendly. We opted to have the chocolate fountain feature that Riviera offers, and we heard nothing but good things. There was room for the photo booth we rented and everyone had a great time! We would highly recommend this venue, considering our budget and our short-term planning period, Riviera made everything so much easier for us and we are forever grateful!

Karen, Dan, and the rest of the staff were absolutely amazing. They were always so helpful and so quick to respond. Food was great, everything is included, room is decorated beautifully, service is wonderful, and the ceremony area is amazing. I dealt with Jackie a lot and I do not have enough good things to say about her. She checked in on me from time to time and also let me bug her during her vacation (I felt horrible, I didn't know she was on vacation, haha). Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and the Riviera was a huge part of that. I am so pleased with how everything turned out and whenever I am in need of a venue, they will be my go to! I don't have a single bad thing to say. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Riviera Country Club is a very nice facility. Dan and Karen O'Donnell are genuine people and do a great job of operating the facility. You can find a broad spectrum of work out equipment, along with sporting areas that can keep an individual actively involved. Highly recommended.

I had found the Riviera in search for a ceremony/reception location for my daughter. On our first visit to the Riviera we were actually so pleased with the reception room and the outdoor ceremony location that we had skipped our visit to another venue that we originally planned to visit the same day. We were looking forward to the next step which was the tasting. However unfortunately with my daughter and son in laws busy schedules we were unable to go on the days scheduled. We almost passed the Rivera up because of this. I then emailed with Karen the issue we were having and she accommodated us. We loved the food at the tasting and this time my daughters fiance was with us and he loved the location also.
This is not my first time needing a ceremony/reception location. Therefore I feel the need to point out some extras that come with the reception room and you may use at no extra cost.

Please keep in mind these are white and some may not prefer the all white but what we did was added table runners and a few other decor of my daughters wedding colors that popped out more because of the white. I also feel I should point out that I own a wedding supplies business and with that being said I have access to all the decor we would have needed and we did not need to replace any of the supplied from the Riviera nor did we have to use a lot extra.
The Gazebo for the ceremony is beautiful and large. I have to mention that when you first see the outdoor location if you have a huge guest list as we did this may make you nervous if you don't see the actual seating setup. However believe Karen when she assures you they can accommodate the seating. As the Riviera did for us.
Karen is very helpful and she is a wonderful person. Very attentive staff also.
All of our guests were amazed with how beautiful the Rivera is and how amazing the food was.
Even if you do not need a ceremony location the reception rooms are just perfect at the Riviera.
We have no complaints and everyone is very happy that we chose the Riviera.

The staff at Riviera was amazing to work with. My husband and I got married 10/12/13 and we couldn't have picked a better place. Our guest are still talking about the mashed potatoes and the rum and cokes, hahaha. The location was perfect, there was another wedding going on in the other room and we didn't have any sound problems with the different dj's. The gazebo outside was my photographer's dream, we took so many pictures outside. As for pricing, Karen and Julie were very reasonable especially given the quality of the food and service you receive. I would definitely recommend them again, not that I plan of ever getting married again :-)

It was a month before I was supposed to get married and we received the news that our banquet hall was in a fire and it was burnt down. My heart was broken. There I was a month before the biggest day of my life and we had no banquet hall. My fiancé and I began to search frantically for a new hall and it was TOUGH! Most places were either booked or the room was just way too small for our 200+ guest! I honestly thought at one point that we would have to postpone the wedding. I was devastated. I found The Riviera Country Club in Orland after reading some reviews online one night. People raved about their food so I contacted them since the quality of the food was a HUGE factor for us. Karen from the club contacted me right away! We made an appt to see the venue & let me say that the pictures on their website really do not show how BEAUTIFUL those halls really are! As soon as I walked into the room that they have available for us my eyes lit up! It was exactly what I had envisioned & I seriously fell in love. I loved the décor that they had available for us to use, a small lake as a back drop and they even had an outside gazebo that we could use for photos! Dan and Karen quickly set up a food tasting for us even before we decided to go with them! And that is where my fiancé fell in love and that won him over. =] [Especially their chicken!!] We STILL have people telling us that they LOVED the hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour and food during dinner. Our guests were impressed by the quality of service that they received that day and that they did not even have to ask for a refill because the waiters were consistent in refilling their food. [We did the family style] Considering we had only a few weeks until our wedding, let me RAVE how Karen and Dan were just SOOOOOOOOO accommodating during the process! Karen was remarkable at replying to my constant emails and answered all my daily questions! =] We were constantly reminded that our day was going to go by smoothly and they seemed like REALLY sincere, honest, genuine people! Our wedding day was simply awesome and I was beyond impressed w/The Rivera Country Club that day! So THANK U THANK U THANK U to The Riviera Country Club for everything that they did for us. I am beyond thankful and God blessed us with placing you guys in our paths!
