Shred415 is an instructor-led, calorie burning, high intensity interval training class divided into intervals for the most effective workout, alternating between treadmill drills and strength training. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all fitness. Instead, we empower you to work at your own level and speed so that you can gradually push to your next level. We’ll alternate between treadmill drills and floor work, including strength training and cardio bursts. Your instructor will be there every step of the way, creating personalized modifications to help you get the most out of your workout.

Shred415 is such a welcoming workout spot with amazing instructors who bring so much energy and encouragement to every class. The playlists are always on point and keep the vibe super fun, which makes the workouts fly by. I always leave dripping in sweat but feeling stronger, accomplished, and motivated to come back. No matter what level you’re at, the classes are really approachable and can be modified, so it always feels like a supportive community. This place has definitely become one of my favorite ways to work out—I truly love it here!

The best thing that could happen to me this year was to find SHRED415! Hands down, best choice I've made for my fitness journey.. 2025 VERY friendly team who keep me motivated to come back and workout ! I love the fact that I joined right when they had special deals for the 10th year anniversary! Went from a 8 pack shredder to a 12 pack shredder ! I plan to stick with you guys for a long time ! ❤️❤️❤️ thank you to all the coaches and staff for making me feel welcomed ! The summer challenge made me feel even more motivated ! Shred Hinsdale is the best! The workouts are challenging, efficient, and effective. Each class is different (so it doesn’t get boring!) and the instructors are all motivating and supportive. The kids lounge is also very convenient!

I started going to Shred in September 2024 during an especially stressful time in my life. From the moment my daughter and I walked in, we were hooked. The dark room, the loud music, and the motivating instructors made this the perfect 1-hour escape from stress. I look forward to all of my classes but especially Saturdays with Jill and Monday nights with Riley.

Shred415 is ah-mazing. If you’ve landed on this page and you’re considering a class, do not waste another minute. Just sign up and go. 😊🦾
Here’s what:
1- The workouts are both efficient and effective. They get you in-and-out in 50 or 60 minutes with good cardio, strength and a few min of stretching too. The time flies by with 4+ segments in class- they keep you moving.
Of note, there are many members who’ve clocked 1000+ classes which tells you how you can endure over time with it too.
2- Instructors are great- positive, motivating, fun. Seraphina, Jim, Anne, Melissa, Kimmy and Jill are my regulars. Each has their own style and give you a nice mix of intensity and motivation plus different music styles too.
3- Front desk is also great- helpful, warm and welcoming. They work hard to create a nice community and I find myself just happy to be there
If you’re looking to bring out the best in yourself and make your health and fitness a priority, this is your place. It might take your body a couple weeks to get used to the intensity- just be patient and stick with it. It works!

I discovered Shred415 back in 2016, and I was hooked from day one. Over the years, I’ve had some breaks due to pregnancies and life changes, but Shred415 has always been the place that I always come back to. The workouts are always different and intense and have been a game-changer for me, both physically and mentally!

I keep coming back to Shred! From 2016, preparing for my wedding, after two babies, and now, when I’m trying to stay healthy heading into my 40s. The workout is never boring and each instructor has their own style (from music to coaching style to exercise type). There’s something for everyone. I can’t say enough good things!

Truly the best for a one stop, complete workout! You can push yourself as hard as you want to but they also do an excellent job of providing modifications if needed. I have absolutely LOVED coming to Shred! (Even as I write this I’m still sore from yesterday’s class, but who doesn’t love that?!). Shalee was the one who introduced me to class, but not only did she bring me into the community, she’s an amazing instructor that brings joy into everything she does. During class Shalee demonstrates each skill while providing accommodations for those who need it. Anytime I’ve gone to her class I feel challenged, welcomed, and enthused! I’ve been working out at Shred for a few years now and can’t say enough good things about it! The workouts are challenging, efficient and dynamic, including strength and cardio. The instructors are motivating, high energy, accommodating to all fitness levels and offer modifications often. They really make the class fun and I am always surprised by how quickly the hour goes by. The music is also amazing! The front desk and all other staff are welcoming, the locker room is stocked with everything you need to get ready for the day, and all of my kids are always excited to come along with me and hang out in the kids lounge while I work out. They have fun challenges and a really great sense of community in the studio. Also, don’t be scared if you are not a runner- I was not when I joined Shred, but can confidently say that I am now! They also offer climb classes (walking on incline), strength only, and an endurance treadmill class. There’s something for everyone. Absolutely love Shred415!

TLDR: I LOVE Shred415, the people, the efficiency of the workout, the vibe.
Shred415 is a workout unlike any other to motivate me, push me harder, feel a sense of community, keep me sane and get stronger. The instructors know how to encourage the class with high energy prompts. I also did Shred when pregnant and they are super accommodating with adjustments and childcare if you’re a mom. I’ve found my marathon times to improve as a result of the hill and speed work. From a strength standpoint, I appreciate the focus on certain body parts yet always feel like I’m walking out with a true full body workout thanks to compound strength training moves. The front desk is super welcoming with a smile. The locker room set up is convenient if you’re prepping to head to work, errands, etc post class.

Shred is a great workout with a wonderful community! I drive past 10 other gyms and studios to get to my closest Shred. Each instructor brings their own style to the classes and you can’t go wrong with any of them! I love a standard format full body class but be sure to also try the Climb incline class and the Strength only class for different workouts. 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

As an avid shredder when I lived in Chicago I was thrilled to see I could continue at the Hinsdale location when I moved to the suburbs! This studio is now home to me and the instructors are fantastic - Serafina, Alex and Heather are some favorites. What I like most about Shred is the efficiency - in 60 minutes I have worked every part of my body in a high energy fast paced environment. You won't regret trying it!

I absolutely LOVE Shred!! I’ve been shredding at the Hinsdale location since they opened their doors. I love the community, motivating instructors and variety of class times. I also love the instructional levels that each instructor brings to their classes and how you can modify the intensity to meet you where you are at on any particular day. I am so happy that I found Shred415 Hinsdale. I live in Berwyn and there isn't much close. Everyone at Shred Hinsdale is so friendly from the front desk to the instructors. Any issues I've had (which are few) were immediately rectified. The classes are such a great workout too- currently loving the strength only classes. I highly recommend Shred415 Hinsdale!

Omg! I LOVED Heather McCarthy’s class! First off, she is in the best shape of her life, so that in and of itself is inspirational and she had the best music! I was losing steam and she must’ve sensed it because she then said some encouraging positive remarks that gave me the burst of energy that I needed right at the right moment! I had been hearing about shred for a couple of years from all of my friends, and now I see what all the hype is about! I can’t wait to buy a package and go again. I love going to shred415, it's by far the best workout I've ever had. I kind of dislike that there's a fee to cancel a class and the price per class is more on the high end but it's the financial motivation to get your lazy butt up and go to class it's well worth it in the end. I've lost 30lbs in three months. If shred415 is reading this I highly suggest tinting the front door facing Ogden Ave it lets too much light in I prefer the darker room concept much like south loop. The only reason you didn't get 5 stars.
