I just took my very first class at solidcore and I have to say I loved it. The studio itself is clean.
I've done quite a bit of Pilates in the past, but solidcore felt like a serious step up. The workout was definitely challenging, pushing my limits in a way I hadn’t experienced before.
What really made the experience stand out, though, was Kendall, our coach. She was absolutely amazing. Even when I didn’t fully understand some of the movements, she would demonstrate them clearly and help me through each step. She was attentive to everyone in the class and made sure we all felt supported. Thank you Kendall 🤍

I took my first [solidcore] class yesterday with Lauren B., and it was an incredible experience! She made me feel completely comfortable, even though I was a little nervous as a first-timer. I’m so excited to continue my [solidcore] journey after such a great start. I had no idea my body could move this way or that I could feel so many different muscle groups—even as a regular lifter! Lauren, thank you for leading such an amazing Starter50 class. I’ll definitely be back soon!

This location is nice but unfortunately the customer service leaves a lot to be desired… I’ve been trying to get my Chicago membership set up (my California membership was transferred over last month) for 5 days now and no one picks up their calls or calls back. I finally got into contact with someone via email, but my membership still hasn’t been set up 3 days later.

Loved my experience here! Compared to other classes, I really felt more challenged, motivated, and supported. The machines take a minute to get a hang of, but the instructor is very patient and explains things well. Will definitely be back!

What a hard workout! I thought this would be a "break day" workout and it was so freaking hard. I've continued to come back and the gains I've seen have been impressive. I normally do free-weights or other fitness studios. but this has made my core stronger than any other boutique fitness studio out there. Shoutout to some of the instructors - Cassie, Jared, Kyle, Lindsey, Shosh, Lexi and others. Top notch humans and super motivational.

As someone who didn’t think I would like reformer workouts — I was pleasantly surprised by the class I took at River North solid core. Kyle was amazing. So good at explaining and brought such positive and fun energy to the class. I will definitely be coming back to take Kyle’s class again. Highly recommend!

I’ve been going to solid core for a couple months now, I cannot recommend this studio and the coaches more !! I’ve been attending classes with both coach Jared and Kyle, their amazing human beings and so energetic. They’re both very nice and to be taken serious because of their physic and ambition to encourage a feel good work out.Heather is another coach I would recommend you attend a class with , her energy is so contagious!!

You can not find a better workout than SolidCore. Your body changes, you become stronger physically & mentally and most important it is super fun! The coaches - Kyle, Trevor, Lindsey, Roosha, etc - are absolutely fantastic!! Kyle even let’s his clients compose the class playlist ❤️. The studio is led by Claire who is always available for any info you need.
Highly recommend you try this awesome experience.

My review refers only to one of coaches, Kyle. And , since I cannot understand how management let this guy to teach humans, it reflects bad to studio in general.
My first 3 coaches were great. Last Saturday I had booked class w Kyle. It was listed as full body with attention to triceps and hamstrings. Class was horribly imbalanced , with triceps exercises taking 1/3 of class, and nothing else for upper body. Which is not a full body concept. My elbow started hurting as a result of numerous tricep exercises.
To cover his incompetency, Kyle talks non stop and let’s out f word quite often.
Also he does not look like he pays too much attn to his own core. Sort of.
I had emailed all that to Solidcire river north on Sunday w request for reimbursement for class and hours of my time w no response. That is not great for customer service either.

I was hoping to try out this gym. However, after learning they don’t require customers to be vaccinated nor have negative test results, I decided that I would not want to take the risks. Additionally, their website did not provide any indication on how they are taking extra precautions against Covid as most of the other fitness facilities do.
The yoga studio I went take necessary precautions and make me feel comfortable to go back to studio to practice. Only wish Solidcore could do the same.
They told me that they have 1 class that require people with vaccination to participate. It is one out of two week period. My hope is that they will eventually increase such options. Until then, I will stay away.

The class will speak for itself-challenging to say the least but a “at your own fitness/strength level”push! So don’t be intimidated. What’s better than the class are the instructors. They are so happy to see you, encourage you, challenge you and have you addicted in no time! Even up early for 5AM classes!

Y’all let me tell you, the full body class KICKED MY BUTT, full body. I workout regularly and even the beginner setting was challenging. Worked my body in a whole new way and I LOVED IT, high energy teacher that is motivating and communicative.

I've only done two classes, but if you want an exercise routine that really works body areas that you normally ignore, then this is the place for you.

I took a beginner class today with Allison. To say she was incredible would be an understatement. She spent time explaining the machines and the basic movements prior to starting. Her high energy and encouragement kept me going 💯 percent. She came around to help with form and placement on the machine. I recommended this place to friends immediately upon leaving. Two have already signed up! I’m a regular at Barrys, Soul Cycle and Shred415 so I have lots of experience e with instructors. I definitely prefer this to other Pilates based classes I’ve attended here in River North.

I had heard how much of a butt-kicking SolidCore is but I was not expecting it to be so effective! I workout 5-6 days a week so I thought I was in good shape, but SolidCore is next level! My arms, abs, and legs were already shaking the first 10 minutes of class and I really felt it the next day. It's a challenge but you feel accomplished after. I will def be back!

Went to my first class at Solidcore Chicago this past Sunday. I work out 4-5 days a week already but wanted to try something with less impact. I arrived a little nervous because I have never even seen, much less used, one of these machines. I was greeted by my instructor Rachel who took me into the studio and explained the whole machine and process to me. She was a great instructor who helped me with several variations as I'm not the the most fit or strong person. She even helped me to use a staff for balance and we changed some of the springs to accommodate my fitness level. I must say I was shocked when after a few different movements she said, " we are almost done with the warm up phase." At that moment I was thinking, oh no what did I just get myself into? At that point I was already into a major sweat. I am planning on going again later this week. The place is clean and everyone was nice. The workout really worked as I had some soreness the next day in spots where I was anticipating there would be. I can't wait to go back and am really happy that there are early morning classes so I can go before the workday. I have a feeling this is going to become another Good Habit for me to have, Thanks!!

What an amazing workout and experience! This was my first time at Solid Core and I didn't know exactly what to expect. As someone who trains 5-6 times per week I figured it wouldn't be too challenging, well guess again! It was high intensity, slow and controlled resistance training that felt very challenging at times but incredible. The instructor Todd was high energy, motivating and excellent at what he does! The group atmosphere is great for getting you through challenging moments and I am looking forward to implementing Solid Core into my workout regimen. What a workout! Thanks to Caitlin and Danielle at Once Upon a Dollhouse for telling me about this place.
