My favorite studio in the Chicago area. I am closer to another studio but will make the drive to Streeterville as they have the best instructors and stuff. Always accommodating and friendly.

Love the classes and I want to shout out Farwah for her 5 star treatment! The app was glitching and wasn’t allowing me to book classes so she helped me reserve a spot and added my card to my account! Now I can keep strengthening my core 😊

I am 59 years old. Working out has been a part of my life since middle school—weight training, running, and cycling. At one point in my life, I was a certified personal trainer and owned a gym. As I've grown older, I've got bored in the weight room. Understanding the importance of strength training, especially as we grow older, I've been looking for alternatives. I started with Solidcore in December to try something new and different. Originally, my plan was to do Solidcore for the winter months—December through March. However, I’ve been doing it now for 9 months and I find myself addicted!! Solidcore workouts are some of the most challenging workouts I have ever experienced. For 50 minutes, I shut out the world; it’s just me and the coach (and a dozen or so other participants). For 50 minutes, I shut out the noise of the world, it’s the music and the coach’s commands and me focusing on the movements! Sure, I’m not very athletic-looking or graceful doing the movements; I shake and sweat buckets (I am sure I stink too), but afterward, there is no better feeling! I’ve lost weight; I’ve gotten stronger—my abs are starting to show—and it’s been something like 30 years since they last made an appearance! I’m convinced I need this to keep my quality of life as I get older.

The Solidcore studio in Streeterville is clean. The coaches (Alyssa B. YOU ROCK!) are empathetic, educated, present (they’re paying attention and will correct you – I’ve needed a lot of correction LOL), fun and motivating! Overall great experience!

My WORST Pilates experience and won’t recommend, especially NOT for any beginner / intermediates. The instruction was difficult to hear, posture adjustments were nonexistent (even verbal cues).

1) The instruction provided during the session was poor, with the instructor's guidance being barely audible. I’ve been to other clubbing/neon light studios too but never seen so many people confused about the springs and postures.

2) Despite noticeable incorrect form among participants, there were no posture adjustments or corrections offered. I’m a yoga instructor and I can tell MOST people had wrong posture and compromised other muscles. Also, she didn’t offer any modification options to the group who was clearly mostly beginners.

3)Another coach in the session kept screening, causing disruption without any explanation provided.

Unfortunately I will never take part in a solidcore class. My not great experience was just about signing up.
It was not clear that they would be charging my card immediately for a 2 week trial pass. I thought I would be able to start the two weeks whenever and it was immediate. I was nursing an injury so I couldn't start right away. Once I had been charged, they then sent their terms and agreements which stated no refunds. If I realized that, I would not have given my credit card information. I had two emails go unanswered until I followed up. Their only solution was to push back my trial start date. I would have, but at that point I was disconcerted about the lack of communication and no longer wanted to try. Just make sure you get all information upfront.

Taken 2 classes with Cherita in Streeterville. I can totally say I’ve fallen in love with solidcore. She is a phenomenal motivator and I love the music she chooses for her class.

This studio is beautiful and has so many machines! I’ve been to other locations where it’s impossible to book a class because they only had 12 reformers. The process was much smoother because of the availability.

I went to a class with Alyssa B and it was really challenging in the best way. She’s really motivational, offered hands on correction and the class moved at a good pace. One of the best reformer classes I’ve been to in a long time.
