Their code on ClassPass didn’t work but I downloaded the solidcore app and it can open the gym’s door about 5 mins before class starts. Love this location!

I just attempted to attend a workout class at Solidcore through ClassPass and was really disappointed. I arrived only 3 minutes late, but as a new visitor, I had no idea that I needed a special code to even get inside the building. ClassPass didn’t provide this information, and there was no one at the front desk or available by phone to help. I ended up spending 20 minutes standing outside the door instead of taking the class I signed up for. For a studio that markets itself as a welcoming fitness experience, this felt very unorganized and unaccommodating for newcomers.

My first Starter class was coached by Abigail and she was amazing! Doing their recommended introductory series is worth it to not feel weird or like class is hard to keep up with.
I know several people talked about not having a greeter or that the doors were locked. It was clear to me on the instructions for this location so I recommend reading any initial email you get from the studio and go to a evening/night class to give yourself time to get used to the space.

I come to different locations and I absolutely love them. I came to this location and was so upset and disappointed. Our instructor amber made my experience horrible and made me question if I will continue booking with you guys. We have a grace minute of 5 minutes due to traffic and parking. We walked in 2 minutes after our class at 7:15. There’s was 4 of us and she said “our policy states if someone is new they have to come in early to I can teach them how to use to machine.” We stated we could help her because we are experienced using the machines. She said no and basically kicked us out of the class and continued teaching. It felt like she was happy to kick us out too. Four people paid money for each class and had to leave without working out or getting their moneys worth. So rude and unprofessional. She shouldn’t even be teaching.

Love this studio! Truly every coach puts in their all and offers support and encouragement. Wicker park specifically has that homey feel with the atmosphere and people!

I don’t really know why there’s so many one star reviews because I think this studio is GREAT!!

It’s clean, it feels newer, everything is always fully stoked. But best of all the instructors are fab!! I’ve gone to about 20 classes so far with various instructors and each one of the instructors have been great! None of them carry an attitude, and all of them are very helpful and extremely motivating! Also all their playlists have been bomb - not one song I’ve wanted them to skip!! I especially really like Tim, Abigail, Courtney, and Lizzy’s classes.

This was a very odd experience. I have worked in the fitness industry for 10 years so I definitely have experience working in all different types of studios. I live in the neighborhood and I was going to do a drop in so I arrived a few minutes early the door was locked, so I had to wait for another participant to let me in, Which was already offputting. When I got into the lobby and waited for the front desk worker to greet me, to my surprise, there was no one there. I just stood in the lobby while the class started and decided to leave because it was obvious that no one was going to greet me or let me in class.

i arrived on time for my reservation at 10am but couldn’t get inside because the door was locked -_- i knocked and called but nothing came of it. the people at this solid core location are so thirsty to lock the doors. i had to dispute it w class pass to get my credits back and reschedule. absolutely ridiculous, i arrived on time why the hell am i locked out? have some compassion for people that are keeping you in business and for people that are trying to make a better life for themselves. i wasted gas rushing my ass over here. not cool at all

I booked via class pass and was given the code to enter studio. This was my first time attending and I was 5 minutes late, the door was locked and the code did not work... I guess there is also no front desk or anything to hear me knock? Seems like the instructor is the only person working there. A waste of a drive, do not recommend visiting.

The instructors vary so much. There are some that I think are excellent and others that I think are people worth avoiding. I'm giving them 1 stars because while I like the classes and coaches overall, I've had a headache of a time dealing with their membership/ billing team. Between double charging, blind billing, "credits" when promised a refund, and very inconsistent and spotty communication, the customer service here is the worst I've ever experienced in a fitness business.

I LOVE SOLIDCORE! I do this alongside barre, and holy s it literally changed my life. I am not even going to bring up the physical benefits, but I find myself having less stress in my day to day life, having more confidence, developing a growth mindset, etc. I just took an AMAAAAZING class which prompted me to write this review, shoutout to Justin the vibes were so great and I failed with a smile on my face! Also, shoutout to Hannah, Peyton, and Leslie, I love their classes as well and always try to fit their classes in my schedule. Everyone is so sweet and helpful. I've never not seen a solidcore instructor without a smile on their face. I also love how prompt solidcore is with their class times! This makes it super easy to fit in morning workouts before starting work, so I can trust I can make it to work on time :) THANK YOU SOLIDCORE WICKER PARK <3

Payton was rude and didn’t help at all . She wouldn’t let me into the class just because I was four minutes late. What an awful experience with Peyton the instructor. I was stuck in traffic for an hour and 15 minutes. Please be mindful and don’t let this be all about money. Ontop of all that, she mentioned that she wouldn’t be able to take me onto the next class even if she had a spot available just because I paid through ClassPass how dare she say that? What an awfull customer services . Payton, you are still Getting paid regardless. Your job is to help people and make them feel good! Stop making it all about the money!

Love this location and instructors. Lisa in particular goes out of her way to make class challenging yet accessible and safe - plus her playlists make the time fly by!

I've been going to solidcore for over a year. I really do not like this location and primarily because of the instructors. I had one instructor who cued so fast most of the class was lost and it was not in line with moving slow and controlled like the solidcore brand. I had such a hard time following her I went to her after class and said I was struggling with the speed of cuing and said it was just my experience but i know I struggled and slowing down just a bit would be a lot easier to follow and more in line with expectations given the consistency across the brand. If I struggled after taking more than 50 classes, I can only imagine how hard a new comer would struggle. Speaking with other members after they felt the class and instructor was also very challenging (not in a good way). When I approached the coach she said verbatim "oh you must be new..." i told her i had been to 50 classes and she said "OK ya no one else has ever said anything and my class is faster because that's how i teach but thanks " and I just said "okay Im sorry i was just sharing my experience in case it was helpful " and then she gave me a rude smile and turned away and i honestly haven't been back since. I do, however, LOVE the boys town location. I've never been to a bad class there. Highly recommend.

I’ve taken classes by two different instructors here and each time was incredible. I am not a reformer pro but I always have a positive experience and walk out loving life. I highly recommend this location for all levels.

One of my favorite workouts in the city! The instructors are amazing and I love the low lights/loud music that is unlike other pilates/lagree-type workout places.

This was my first solidcore/Pilates class and the instructor Eleanor was so nice and welcoming! We came a little early and she gave a great introduction to how everything works and an intro to some of the moves we would be doing so we weren’t totally lost. The workout itself was very challenging and Eleanor definitely pushed me at times, I had a ton of fun and really enjoyed it overall. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to get into Pilates/wants to try something new!

I took my first [solidcore] class in July 2019 and instantly became hooked with the [solidcore] shakes that I became an unlimited member. [Solidcore] is such a fun workout and I’m still in shock on how sweaty I am after the 50 minutes are up. The Wicker Park coaches are so friendly and are really cheering you on during class (even when I give them side eye). The WP studio is welcoming to all participants as coaches take the time to walk you through the workout or just to stop and have a conversation. I’ve made some really great friends by just showing up to class. If you have always wanted to try the workout - GO, you and your future obliques won’t regret it.

My favorite workout that I’ve done in Chicago. Low impact but so intense! All of the coaches are so helpful and friendly. Everything has been super safe with smaller class sizes and masks required. Highly recommend!
