Not my home club, but I stayed in Springfield for a month and a half for a Coast Guard deployment, and they let me train with them. Very friendly atmosphere, great coaches (gave advice and helped significantly with armory), and nice facility.

Fencing is free for those with experience and very cheap for those without. I took an eight week into class for a one-time fee of less than $70, as opposed to other cities where the monthly fee for fencing is over $100
