I was super excited to attended my first class here, however, it was a disappointing experience. Due to heavy snow and bad traffic, the bus was delayed by 8 minutes but prior to class time still. When I arrived, they wouldn’t let me join the class since they required 15 mins arrival prior. After a 30-minute commute in the snow, it felt like a complete waste of time. I wouldn’t recommend this studio to first-time students or newcomers.

Studio Lagree has been a game changer in my workout routine. I have strengthened my body and fixed a lot of weaker areas (lower back and arms especially). I am learning how to work out by building muscle and protect my back while doing so. I could not recommend Studio Lagree more- it takes 5-10 classes to get used to the flow of class, so be prepared for that learning curve. The workouts don't get easier- it's a very humbling workout, you get used to the class flow and different moves, but there's always ways to challenge yourself the longer you stick with it.

I’ve been to all of the chicago studios except highland park, if that counts. All of the studios are super clean and the staff are friendly. Instructors are all great, but the reality is Pilates/Lagree is harrrrd. You’re mostly just focused on yourself… your form and not dying haha so if you enjoy a good workout, no doubt, you should at least try it! And I recommend committing to 3-4 classes to really get the hang of it. I took ~10 classes in a month and I was challenged intensely every class, no matter the instructor. :)

Super tough workout, not for the faint of heart. Love that it is low impact while still leaving you sweaty and sore. Nice, open space too. Tip: Bring your own sticky socks as they charge $17 (!) for a pair in studio.

I love how amazing I feel after these classes - often painful but in a really good way. Each class is different, but I always feel like I got a serious, well rounded workout. The instructors are always so positive, and really make sure your form is correct so you get the best from every class.

Lagree is the first workout, that I’ve found in my six years in Chicago, that has me hooked! I love that every workout is intense, challenging and can be made as hard as you want it to. I love the quick transitions and the shake and sweat mentality. This isn’t a workout that you pay for and leave feeling disappointed. I work hard, feel motivated and see the results continuously. Formally an athlete, personal trainer and fitness instructor myself, to say I’m picky.. well it’s an understatemnt. I’ve left many fitness classes in Chicago, feeling like I need to go workout again, and then never returning. I’ve been taking Lagree since August 2015 and hope to never stop. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Such a great studio! The classes are short, 50 mins, but it's more than enough of a workout for the whole day! My legs are shaking when I leave class. They also play fun music. So worth it!
