An excellent and clean workout environment. Plenty of machines and free weights, as well as enough cardio equipment, and that's just the first floor.

2 full locker rooms, one for men, one women, showers and lockers, as well as tanning beds. Also available is a small store of supplements, proteins, pre workouts, etc, all with a knowledgeable staff to recommend the best thing for you and your goals.

You can start your fitness dream at some cheap, mainstream gym, or you can make your dream a reality here. (As cheesy as that sounds)

Just started at Bartonville fitness and am impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness (9.9 out of 10), and the quality of exercise equipment. Give them a try.
I had been going to the RiverPlex facility for years and have watched it decline in critical areas.

The place is so dirty. Have left several notes about the cleaning. Several members have dropped due to unsanitary equipment. Inches of dust and dirt on and under equipment. Suppose to be under construction since Last year! I have not seen any changes and I was a member for 18 months. I could no longer justify Conveniency or Filth!!!! I cancelled my membership.

Pretty nice place to workout on off peak hours. It's pretty crowded during peak hours with groups of kids etc. Most people don't clean up their weights. I've seen a couple bring their 3 kids under 5 after hours and let them run around using equipment. Couple days ago a group of 4-5 kids came in after hours (Def under 18) left all the equipment they were using on the lowest setting with all the weights on. Trucks constantly park in the no truck zone. Hopefully they change some things soon or I'll pay more for a better gym.

Location and open 24 hours is the only reason i give it 2 stars.....been going here 6 months and from what ive seen, the place has never been cleaned...thought new ownership would clean the place up but that hasnt happened yet...if you dont live in close proximity, go somewhere else.

Good management. Stict no guess policy except for wensdays. I understand it is hard to complete with other gyms but they vary there best. Full equipment and well staffed.

After they bought bartonville fitness this gym went down hill. They got all new cardio machines but kept the old weight machines and just cleaned them up and put new red seats on them. When the owners first came in we tole the owner about our concerns because we have heard bad things about the east peoria gym. They said if we were not happy then we could be let out of our contract. It took over 6 months for them to do anything...and when we told them we wanted out the owner Craig acted like it was a big deal and that we could not offered a different gym. He was rude on the phone and yelled about the deal. We paid for the entire month and he would not refund use the pro-rated amount because he was doing us a "favor"... The gym is half clean and there is more cardio then anything all shoved in a tiny space. The staff knows nothing about working out and half of them don't look like they can run a mile on any given day. Its a shame they took a small down gym were everyone knew your name and turned it into a gym that is another box gym with robots.

Having been a member of the EP Fitness America when I heard that there was a Bartonville location I was very excited, EP has always provided a non threatening environment for me to work out in. Bartonville has followed in suit, amazing. Regardless of your fitness level this place is amazing, I can go in and not worry about feeling uncomfortable while working out. With the 24/7 access I can also go in when its convenient for me rather than on someone else's schedule. It is obvious that changes are being made daily with new equipment and upgrading the facilities, it excites me to see what is to come. The shocker above all is the cost, SOOO affordable for any budget. I am super impressed!
