My son has to get evaluated on his swimming skill for a rowing camp. It was Friday afternoon and just say it was an eventful morning prior to the test. We came from north Chicago to an event in Naperville and head out to Superior Training. With road constructions and accidents to bypass along the way, we knew we couldn’t make it to the early afternoon appointment. Kristen took my call to rescheduled but even with that, we were a bit late. Walking in unsure of what will happen, Kristine was so kind still to take him. Of course, it only came to my realization then that I forgot the printed form she needed to complete the evaluation! With such calmness, Kristine gave me the email address I can send the form to her. She printed the form out and proceed to the testing.!! Talk about A+++ service!!! If all their staff or instructors are like her, I wish I live close by to enroll my son to their programs! The pools are clean and organized. They have 2 individual shallow pools that are separate from 2 pools for laps and 6 ft deep water.

Just had our first class here.

Father of 3, 5 and under. We had a Saturday 9:30 class with one of their competitors that cancelled while we were on the car ride over. Looking for a last minute option to get our now upset kids some promised swim time, we called Superior Training.

From the moment we interacted with them, their customer service was phenomenal. Their manager Stevie was responsive and flexible. They got us fully registered and into a later class in no time.

Kids had a blast and loved their instructors. Ratios were phenomenal. The owner even came up and introduced himself. I don’t know if I’ve had a company make a better first visit impression on me.

This place won our business.

We’ve had our son enrolled in lessons and now in Swim Stars, and we are excited for his continued path with Superior! He has actually learned to swim using real strokes unlike other swim schools we’ve tried. He has the same instructors each class, so there is continuity in their learning; the instructor also knows the swimmer and their progress, so after each class we know what’s going well and what needs improvement. We could not be happier with our choice of Superior Training, and we know they will help our son reach his swimming goals!

We started our 3 and 5 year old with swim lessons at Superior Training after trying multiple swim schools and not being satisfied with their progress. In just 5 months both girls are swimming confidently and independently and love going to their lessons. They are learning the proper technique for backstroke and freestyle and breathing techniques. The teachers are patient and kind as well as the staff and we couldn’t be happier with their progress. Hoping to transition to swim team as they move up with their skills. Highly recommend Superior!!

We started swimming classes few weeks ago and my son can do a lot only after few classes. He feels comfortable with his instructor and can’t wait for his next lesson. We went to different place before and after few months there was no progress. And at Superior Training it’s really visible. Classes are smaller than in other places which I really like. Instructors are really nice and update with the progress after each class. I highly recommend this place to anyone!

Also they give medals and diplomas after completing the level 😀

I’m so impressed with our time so far at Superior Training! I would highly recommend them, especially for someone who is just starting out or with a younger child taking lessons for the first time. They’ve been SO patient and kind (especially the manager!) towards our daughter who just started swimming, and to see everything she has already learnt so far is so impressive! I also love that you can see through their online portal what skills your child is working on and what they’ve attained so far.

Both our kids really enjoy swimming at Superior Training. We started during COVID with private lessons and now my daughter is in stroke school! They've become such great swimmers it really helps put our minds at ease when we go to public pools and out on our boat. They also like the holiday decorations and special events.

My son was afraid of swimming and being underwater. I wanted him to join a summer activity and swimming is one of those skills that everyone should learn. After his first lesson I was shocked how excited he was to practice his new skills. Coach Casey is patient, she provides feedback, and she also provides advice on what to practice on until their next lesson. Enrollment was easy. I also like how payment is based on per lesson and not a flat fee. At first I was planning for this to be a summer activity but now I'm going to commit him to do this year round. I love that its not crowded nor does his class exceeds 3 students. It is usually just him with his coach but either way he gets the 1 on 1 learning.

I started taking lessons here to train for an Ironman. When I started, I couldn’t swim 1 length of the pool because I felt like finding out how to breathe while swimming was the world’s greatest mystery (as was getting my legs to stop sinking). That was in October/November of 2021, now in January of 2022, I’m completing 2000m+ workouts while swimming over 1000m at a time without even thinking of stopping. Working with Landon and Morgan has been wonderful. I couldn’t be happier with my progress! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

My children have had a great experience with swim lessons at Superior Training. We had tried a park district years ago with my first, but we quickly realized how poor the level of interaction was with the instructors and the lack of progress being made. We switched to Superior and have had a great experience since then (in fact, we just enrolled our third child). The ratio of instructor to child is excellent, allowing swimmers to become comfortable in the water and learn skills at a faster rate. I highly recommend Superior Training!

Great environment for those of all ages. If you would like your younger ones to become better and stronger swimmers the program provides individual focus and results. For those that primarily swim for exercise this is a great option. For competitive swimmers a great option to work on specific areas of improvement. We have had great results!

This is a great in door pool for training swims. There are a lot of low cost membership options. I travel and have a hectic schedule so I buy a 5-pass for $40. I go when I can.

Got their Groupon for my 4 year old. Will absolutely be going back for more lessons. My son had a melt down before one of the lessons, and the lady coach couldn’t have been nicer and easily got him to calm down and do his lesson.

My high school son has been taking private competitive swim lessons for 2 months now. Not only has he earned a ton of personal best times, but he is understanding why he needs to make the micro adjustments as well. I HIGHLY recommend Superior Training if your child is a competitive swimmer. Kevin is our private instructor and really connects with our son and super positive. The owner of Superior Training, Adam, runs an amazing swimming pool, super clean facility, and the most positive swimming coaches we've ever experienced.

Took a groupon for 4 lessons, could only handle 3...no parking for the amount of kids coming, no seats for parents or guests have to stand the entire time...when I asked the manager if I could sit near my toddler being trained..he rudely answered no without explanation. Need more chairs, parking and teacher to student ratio like 1 to 20..- British Swim School is much better...told my kids we are not coming back...they were relieved...water is too cold to be proactive.

My 6 & 8 year old have been swimming here for almost two years. They have improved immensely in that time. The class sizes are small, there are numerous days and times to choose from, the coaches are friendly and fun, and they are very accommodating with makeup classes. I am glad we found West!

West is the best time Nicole! They have the greatest instructors for my kids, and me and my husband love the flexible hours for open lap swim! If your kids need swim lessons, I highly recommend Justina she is the best instructor there by far! My kids wouldn’t even get in the water before her, And now all they talk about at the dinner table is lessons with her! Thank you west and thank you Justina for everything!
