I have been wanting to try Pilates for quite sometime, but finally took the leap into trying something new. I've always been an athlete, and love being active, but would not say that I am confidently coordinated when it comes to organized classes. The fear of looking silly in front of others was a real barrier.
I have enjoyed coming to classes and love that Lauren and the instructors are truly thoughtful in their approach when it comes to providing guidance, corrections and encouragement to newbies like me. I also appreciate that this is a place where I can experience different exercise routines without getting bored.
Most importantly, this studio is a place I can go to prioritize myself and spend time with others who are there doing the same. Lauren has created something special, and I highly recommend The School of Pilates.

I had been going to Lauren for quite some time when she opened this new space. These Pilates and sculpt classes give me a workout that I could not achieve on my own. The instructors’ individualized cues and prompts stick with me in my day-to-day movements and help when I’m working out on my own. Lauren focuses on the things we all need when I didn’t even realize that I needed it! I leave these workouts with a stronger core and better posture. Best of all, this hour allows me to focus on nothing else, so I have found it to be so good for my mind. I can tell, both physically and mentally, when I haven’t been able to make it to class in a while.
Give it a try, it’s for any and all levels. You’ll find the magic too.

I can’t say enough good things about this Pilates school and its amazing instructors! Every class challenges my body while also teaching me how it moves. I feel stronger, more aware, and more confident than ever. Best of all, I feel safe pushing myself because the teachers are so knowledgeable and the community is so supportive.

As a Pilates beginner, I was unfamiliar with the practice and equipment. Lauren and her fellow instructors give clear instruction while pushing my limits and ensuring that I create the practice that’s right for me. I can already see improvement in myself and recommend the studio for beginners and experienced folks. Stellar instructors and a lovely studio setting.

I am so glad I found Lauren post hip surgery! Her workouts are effective, efficient and enjoyable. She knows just which muscles need help and her corrections are always very helpful. I love leaving class feeling stronger and leaner. Pilates has helped correct muscle imbalances, improve my strength, posture and balance, and increase my flexibility. The daily aches and pains that used to plague me after the surgery have become a distant memory! Also, I used to get stressed out planning my own workouts and trying to fit them into my day. After finding The School of Pilates, my schedule and workouts are pre-planned AND are much, much more effective than what I was doing on my own.

This Pilates studio is stunning — but that just barely scratches the surface. The instructors are outstanding, paying special attention to the goal of functional movement and progressing through your practice. The class sizes are small, with 7 reformers in the space, you have plenty of breathing room and lots of hands-on attention.
Lauren, the founder, is working to build more than just a place to go do Pilates, but an encouraging community that can come together to push each other to succeed in building lifelong habits and foundations.
I could not recommend this studio more!
