I took a group reformer class and Julia was amazing. Super sweet and welcoming. You don’t always get that with smaller classes. I had not done a reformer class in awhile (or any form of physical exercise other than walk/hike) due to injury and pain, so I was a bit nervous. Julia explained everything and proper technique and made sure to check in to see how we all were feeling. I left the class feeling great and confident that I can continue reformer without pain. I will be back!

I absolutely love The Yoga Projekt! There is a wide variety of classes but my favorites are the Vinyasa Flow and Ashtanga classes in the heated studio on the balcony level. The teachers are welcoming and knowledgeable, and the studio space is beautiful!

Great educated staff, wide range of class types and difficulties. My favorite classes are the hot vinyasa and the reformer Pilates! Located in the plaza near pour bros, some classes are on The ground level and some classes are on the balcony depending on class type!

Signed up for a class, and nobody was there. They had every resource to let others know it was cancelled or directions on where it would be, yet chose to let people drive there to find out. Not cool, bad business :-(

Went for my first reformer class today with Cindy and it was wonderful! This is the first time I’ve worked out in years and the difficulty level was perfect! I was challenged without being overwhelmed or feeling like I was going to die. The classes are small so you get a lot of one on one instruction which is very helpful, especially for a new person. She offers different options to make the exercises easier or harder as well. This class will be part of my new weekly workout routine! Excited to try yoga at this studio later this week!

This is a top of the line yoga studio. The instructors are highly trained. This is yoga that I have not learned anywhere in the area. I’m excited that I am gaining strength and muscle with these classes. You can go at your own pace which is awesome

I'm new to the area, and I visited every yoga studio within a 30 minute radius of my home. The Yoga Projekt is by far the best studio for atmosphere, friendliness, content, and variety. I love the traditional yoga classes as well as the yoga sculpt. Their barre and hiit are also phenomenal. Check them out!

Yoga Projekt has the best instructors for yoga, barre and Hiit classes. They work you hard ! I love the environment which I have made many friendships and look forward to working out to see the instructors and everyone in the class! Even during the “shelter in place” the instructors have found a way through zoom to keep classes going! I love YP❤️

More than highly recommend taking classes here. Even if yoga isn’t your thing, try kettlebell or barre. The atmosphere is one of acceptance and always welcoming. The class sizes are small enough to where one can get individual instruction if needed. Love being apart of this studio.

The yoga projekt is one of the best places for yoga in this area. I’ve been to a couple other studios and nothing has come close to what the yoga projekt offers. The instructors are phenomenal, always taking the extra time to help guide you through a pose. I’ve been to almost all the classes and can say that there are not more caring and helpful people around. The owner is very sweet and truly a genuine person. The Yoga Projekt’s atmosphere sends you on an escape every time you go. It’s a great place for beginner and advanced yogis! Highly recommended!

The owner is very nice and so are most of the instructors. I wish I could rate this studio higher. It’s a very nice setup and normally relaxing.
Bailey is THE WORST instructor I’ve ever encountered in the years I’ve done yoga. She was obviously new because she didn’t know how to cue poses. On top of that she rhetorically asked my friend and me, “do you know how much you’re taking?” in a snotty way. I had been telling my friend how to do a pose because he was completely new to yoga! Upon leaving she had not apologized or offered an explanation to her rudeness.
The best part of a studio is the atmosphere and part of that is sharing knowledge. When I first started I felt included when classmates helped me (especially in larger studios). Unfortunately that is not the environment fostered here.

I went there and the instructors name was Bailey. I am a beginner, and I do not know all the poses super well. My girlfriend was helping me out telling me how to do them correctly since Bailey could not. She came over to us and rudely said, “ Do you guys know how much you are talking?” My girlfriend is a pretty experienced in yoga, and she has gone to many studios all over the country. She said this class was nothing like she’s ever been too. Usually, in a mixed experienced level class the more experienced people help the beginners since the instructor has everybody to worry about and cannot see everything. We will not be going back there.

The Yoga Projekt is where I came to yoga. It has been life changing for me. I haven't been in a long time for health reasons, but I hope to be back very soon. I'm also very excited to see you're offering teacher training now too! I plan to take advantage of that in the future!

I was in from Chicago where I actively practice yoga and wanted to try a yoga studio here. I knew the Yoga Projeckt had recently moved so I left early to make sure I could find it. It was simple to find off North Prospect Road in Heritage Square on the second floor. The owner/instructor was incredibly friendly. Her class Vinyasa hot was great - challenging yet able to follow with her clear instructions and demonstrations. The space is lovely and peaceful. Exactly what I needed. I will definitely come here again anytime I visit. Highly recommended!

My girlfriend and I attended the hot Vinyasa class and had an incredible experience. Our instructor was fantastic and she provided plenty of variations of the poses so I could push myself as much or as little as I liked. Make sure to bring a towel! We will definitely be back.

A friend from out of town was visiting this weekend and wanted to do a barre class, so we signed up for one at the Yoga Project. I didn't know they had moved from Junction City as I've never been to a class there, so I had to Google the address after I drove all over looking for the studio. Once we got to the location where google directed us, there were no signs anywhere for the Yoga Project - not even a temporary banner, realtor sign, nothing. I called the number in my confirmation email from the studio and it was no longer in service. There was construction all over the place and we had to walk up a construction staircase and through an unfinished unit before stumbling across the studio by chance. We walked in a few minutes late to the class already in progress, but the instructor did not greet us or acknowledge us in any way, so we were scrambling looking for hand weights and other equipment everyone else had. I noticed that there were no ceiling fans and the temperature in the studio was VERY WARM, almost like there was no air conditioning on AT ALL? I specifically read online that this class was NOT heated, but it appeared to be quite heated or they just didn't have the air on at all. Which is odd when it was projected to be 95 degrees outside that day with heat index warnings in the 100s. It became quite uncomfortable in the studio as the class went on. The instructor was decent, but her cuing was very soft spoken and hard to hear with the music. I can't say from this experience I would ever be back, especially considering the price point. Just overall not a great first impression.

I have attended four classes at The Yoga Projekt and am overall very satisfied with my experiences. I travel to Peoria weekly for work and had been looking for a yoga studio for quite a while before finding The Yoga Projekt. I attend Monday nights and usually have Aaron as an instructor. He is knowledgeable and leads the class very well, independent of skill level. He provides many opportunities to practice according to your skill level. I like that he shows the 'basic' or easiest pose/progression, but also demonstrates more advanced methods so that you know what you are working towards. He also shares some of his own experiences which make his impressive skill seem attainable (albeit with years of practice).
