I’ve worked with personal trainers before, but my experience with Coach Shay and the TFC team has truly been one of the most incredible fitness journeys. The small class sizes create a welcoming environment where you can build real connections with other women who are all working toward the same goal.
The camaraderie during those little moments—switching moves, cheering each other on, laughing at something silly, or being challenged to push harder—is absolutely priceless. It’s a unique experience you can’t find everywhere.

I highly recommend Those Fitness Chicks! I first enrolled in Coach Shay’s virtual fitness program a few years ago, and while it was great, I enjoyed the 6-week in-person program the most. Coach Shay is compassionate and empathetic, but she will still push you with a fitness plan that challenges you.
If you follow her guidance, including the nutrition modifications, you WILL see results. (That’s my promise, not hers!) I remember feeling discouraged because my home scale wasn’t budging. When I went in for measurements and a weigh-in with Coach Shay, it turned out I had actually lost both weight and inches. My scale at home is clearly a hater—lol!
The program is challenging, but the results are worth it. If you are serious about getting healthier and stronger, Coach Shay will help you get there.

Wish I could give 10 stars. 5 stars just aren't enough. I just started my 3rd year training with Coach Shay and have made so many improvements, thanks to her passion for pushing women to move forward and thrive. Coach Shay's motivating spirit is real. I have been training with Those Fitness Chicks for 5 weeks now and I have lost more than 10lbs in just 4 weeks by just following the meal plan and training program. Coach Shay is so amazing. She really motivates you during workouts and even if the workouts can be challenging coach Shay has a way of making it really enjoyable. She also tells you the correct posture as you workout. The ladies enrolled in the classes are all very nice and sweet as well. If you are looking for a life changing complete package program try those fitness chicks and you will surely see results!

I have been training with Those Fitness Chicks since the beginning of the year. It has been a great experience so far training with Coach Shay and the other coaches. Prior to joining Those Fitness Chicks, I had been strength training for about 10 years but wasn't getting the results I have been able to get in the past few months. I have been able to lift heavier than I have previously and push past my comfort zones. I've gained a lot more lean muscle and have been able to slim down at a much faster rate than working out on my own. It is definitely a challenge balancing fitness and nutrition, but these women have helped me stay on track.

I saw a picture of me and did not like what I saw. I signed up for the 6-Week Challenge with Those Fitness Chicks in August 2023, weighing 184 pounds. Coach Shay and I made a schedule that allowed me to work out two days during the week and every Sunday. Of course, I utilized the Accountability App on my phone and linked it to my Apple Watch. I also wear a Fitbit.
Although I had to adjust to logging meals again, I welcomed changes to my diet and increased my water intake. I saw immediate results; I lost 12 pounds in six weeks. Because I did not have an exit plan, I worked out with Coach for an additional four weeks. I dropped four pounds. However, I needed to work on my diet. Even though I ended my in-person training, I stayed with Shay for nutritional coaching for eight weeks. I lost three more pounds. She increased my protein intake and decreased my fat consumption. Even though I wanted to lose five more pounds, I dropped two pant sizes and can now wear smaller-sized clothing from my favorite store. I love H&M.
If you want to start a healthy lifestyle journey, Coach Shay will provide you with a plan and place to get you started. It will be up to you to show up for class, attend virtual meetings, and follow your meal plans. In addition, she provides a friendly workout environment with like-minded women with similar goals. I appreciated the encouraging words from coaches and members in the group chat. Yes, I had a few moments where I questioned my commitment, but I got over that feeling. Every time I receive a compliment about how healthy I look, I get excited all over again about making better lifestyle choices.

Meeting Coach Shay during my consultation she really dug deep into getting to know me personally on finding out why I wanted to start my work out journey, and I’m glad that she did this because a lot of personal trainers don’t dwell on the deeper perspective of what’s really going on in your life, it is such a joy to be apart of a workout geared towards helping women get to their happy place, at least that’s what it does for me, going to work out with Coach Shay is very rewarding, we , small chat, but most of all we work out and when I say we work out, WE WORK OUT 😂😂 but it’s that work out that makes you feel great and vibrant, not to mention the personal delicious meal plan they put together for you, and holding you accountable for making sure do your part by logging in your meals, watching your weekly nutrition videos and also having personal home videos for when you’re unable to make it to class sometimes, I love working out with the ladies and Coach Shay, in just a short time I feel comfortable like I’m around my girlfriends having a wonderful workout!!! Hello Everyone Coach Shay is a phenomenal trainer!!! I started with her on March 13, 2023. I was told I was pre diabetic by doctors and Well after 6 months of her strength training I am proud to express that all my numbers went down. I've lost weight, I feel great and I am so happy that I didn't give up. Give her a try, I promise you, You will not be disappointed... I'm not done yet. This program is phenomenal! At first consultation, I knew I would not be disappointed with my decision to join. Coach Shay is amazing! She's a wealth of information and makes sure she has an understanding of what you need to continue on a successful journey. She's attentive to all details of what one hopes and needs to achieve ones' goals. There are no gimmicks, no catches. She's also surrounded herself with a fantastic staff of coaches.... Shout out to Coach Lei for all the motivation, tips and check-ins to help keep me on track. The workouts are very challenging; however, none of the crazy bootcamp, superhero training type workouts I've seen/experienced in the past. Coach Shay and her team develop workouts that get you results.... you're allowed to modify as needed without feeling as though you've failed. This I appreciated so much. And the icing on the cake was working out with a kicka$$ group of women. There was no cliquing of any sort, just hard working women with a common goal...a healthier lifestyle.

This is a great program for anyone who is looking to increase exercise and change your eating habits and being accountable for all that you do in the program. They provide meal/nutrition suggestions, exercises, and encouragement to assist you in getting your goals accomplished with constant communication. I was in the virtual program and I have made great changes in my eating habits (eating more vegetables; I was not doing a lot at all) and exercising and/or walking more frequently. I have changed my body some in the 6 week program and I am able to continue on my own for now. I would recommend this program if you are self motivated to get all tasks done! Since starting with coach Shay my motivation to get in better shape has only grown stronger! I never thought I’d be lifting the amount of weight I am today and I accredit to this awesome program. The things I enjoy about her program is that she really takes time on the individual and makes sure my workouts are done correctly and continues to push me to the next level. When covid hit I stopped working out at planet fitness. I started working out at home. I finally decided to look into personal trainers to get me back on track because I was bored trying to figure out the best workout routine and not motivated. I found that personal training can be quite expensive. I came across Those Fit Chicks and talked to Coach Shay. I told her I am on a tight budget and she worked with me so I was able to hire her and it didn’t break my bank account! I did not need to lose weight but just tone up. In a month I see the results. I couldn’t have done this on my own or at planet fitness. It was exactly what I was looking for and I finally have the results I wanted just in time for summer!

Love love love Coach Shay. I knew this was where I was meant to be when I found out we have the same name. She provides a customized program and is able to change an exercise on the spot when a move is just not working. Coach Shay is patient and encouraging- not overly intense like other trainers I’ve worked with. Since working with her, I’ve developed lean muscle and is down in body fat and inches.
