TRAIN Moment offers group fitness classes that focus on strength training with high-intensity interval training (HIIT) cardio. Our unique approach is designed to improve overall strength, cardiovascular health, and mental well-being in a supportive group environment.

Train Moment is an awesome gym with amazing people and coaches. They really push you while keeping it fun and motivating. I’d never done group classes before, but I love how these are strength-focused with the VersaClimber mixed in for cardio. The programming is really well thought out, so every class feels purposeful and challenging. I’m already seeing great results and highly recommend it for anyone looking to get stronger and enjoy the process!

I joined Train Moment because I wanted to go back to strength training and there was a new member special going on for two weeks. This gave me the opportunity to attend different classes with various coaches. I did not know what to expect, and I was thoroughly impressed with the classes and the coaches. Each day there is a different focus from strength to conditioning. It is best to start the trial at the beginning of the month because each month is a new focus/ new programming. On your first class, the coach will the flow of the class and introduce you to the climber. The class consist of three stations will several movements at each station. I was challenged at each station and was given feedback to improve the lift/ movement. The coaches also challenged me to go higher in weight knowing my background in lifting and how I was able to move lower weight easily. Safety is a main focus for the coaches as well, and they will ensure you are lifting properly and not using incorrect form. If you are looking to start strength training in a group setting, Train Moment is a great gym for you.

Train moment is my newest obsession. It is one of the first classes I’ve felt like is really giving me a good workout versus just sweating a lot in a heated class. The instructors are really great and give a lot of corrections. Would 100% recommend.

Since I moved to Chicago in 2022, I have been studio hopping & finally found a gym to call home ( less than 30 mins walk). I enjoy checking out different gyms around the city, but what I love about Train Moment is A LOT

A. The versa climbers are awesome cardio for a retired runner with a variety of injuries.

B. Each month there are benchmark lifts which give you a goal to work towards & keep trying again each week. I love the ability to know what to expect and work on going into a session.

C. They have charity climbs for autism & suicide prevention other causes etc. to help bring more awareness and visibility.

D. The coaches are the BEST! They check-in and provide adaptations to accommodate injuries but still push you to challenge yourself a little further.

E. Love the music choices & all the bangers even at 6:30am it still feels like a party!

F. I love how the coaches join in classes and celebrate their accomplishments inside & outside the gym.

I tried Train Moment through ClassPass, and was impressed with how welcoming the experience was + how the class challenged me in new ways. It can be a bit intimidating to try something new, though Coach Raina (new GM) was so friendly, helpful, and guided me through my first chin-up!

Highly recommend signing up for their 2-week trial...it's what I did after my first class; the trial is both affordable and a solid amount of time to acclimate to the various strength + conditioning classes that they so thoughtfully curate every week.

I've tried multiple fitness studios around the city, and will say that Train Moment is by far, the best. The coach and community vibe is uniquely special, and the classes are motivating, challenging and fun. I appreciate the modifications when I need them, and all of the coaches are so knowledgable with different fitness levels.

The group training format, badass coaches and authentic community are part of why I committed to a membership; the other part is because of previous GM Cecily's welcoming, sincere, supportive nature.

I can't say enough great things about them --> snag a trial and check out Train Moment!

Train Moment in River North is a solid gym with a lot to offer. The workouts are challenging in a good way and the programming is clearly thoughtful. You leave class feeling like you really got something out of it. The instructors are approachable and knowledgeable, and they do a great job of creating a welcoming environment no matter your fitness level.

The music and overall atmosphere help keep the energy up without feeling over the top. It’s motivating but still focused. What I appreciate most is that Train Moment is intentional about building community. Their involvement in events like CLMB 4 Autism shows that they care about making a difference beyond just fitness.

If you’re looking for a place that combines effective training with a sense of community, Train Moment is worth checking out.

Train Moment is a fantastic workout. My wife and I started going through the pandemic (as allowed) at the West Loop location. We've started using the River North location and it is just as good. The sessions have a focus on strength as well as a good cardio section. The best part is the coaches. They are fantastic and set a fun and challenging tone. I highly recommend Train Moment to anyone looking for a tough workout with a good community. One thing to know is that this location does not offer towels so if you are likely to sweat, bring a towel from home.

Recently joined in March, and this is now my favourite gym! I have gotten stronger and more confident with different exercises that I used to avoid pushing myself on. The monthly benchmark gives me a clear way to track progress and be more intentional towards lifting a little heavier week after week.
The coaches are supportive and are great about helping you progress with form and heavier lifts without pushing you too hard. My fellow members are also super friendly and supportive and it makes going for workout class a lot more enjoyable!

I was a little intimidated at first with how intense the workouts looked. But the second I walked in, that all shifted. I just finished my 50th class and I am so grateful for Train Moment! The gym and classes are well-organized and engaging. The small class size's make each session feel personal. And as a gym newbie, I really appreciate how the coaches provide modifications when needed while still pushing me.
