When we signed up our 2 girls (5 and 8) I thought it would be a weekly thing just to run around blown off steam and have fun. I never thought it would ever get to a point where they learned as much as they have! I am BLOWN AWAY with what they have learned. Every one of the instructors are soo good and have each equally brought them to where they are at now. Roundoffs, back walkovers, and backhand springs in just a years time. This place is definitely great!

As I’m seeing the bad reviews. I’m laughing at them this is the best place around .Only problem was when they had to call the police on a mom who was threatening the owner and swearing profusely in front of five year-old children the owner sharon told the woman to have a nice day. She even refunded her back and the lady kept going for 45 minutes. All because she was told she was not allowed to go inside the gym as the children are tumbling. No gym lets you go inside. Sharon told her she’s more then welcome to sit in the lobby and the mom wen off yelling and all. I do have to say they handled it a lot better than I would have ! I have now been here for 6 years with all of my children and have NOTHING bad to say I Absolutely love this place I’m laughing at the comments about the owner. She has always been super nice super sweet to all the kids and the only time there seems to be a problem is when the parents don’t want to pay, they drop their children off and leave without a payment or even a waiver. I have never heard any slide comments from anybody at that gym and we’re here three times a week the owner Sharon tries to help everybody and tries to come to some reasonable decision for both parties. The problem is parents just don’t want to pay and I have seen parents be extremely rude, yelling, swearing, and screaming, and the owner has kept. Her cool And did not argue back every business has policies. Every business has rules just like the real world There are rules to the gym they let them do make ups and Privates but you have to be members they go above and beyond for all families and children they keep the children safe and make them feel like they belong there. I can’t say enough good things about this gym. I have tried other gyms and I love the small class Ratio And I love how my child is treated if you want your child to have positive reinforcement and to learn and they feel good about themselves. This is the place to be the coaches are amazing and so is the owner and her son they do this, because they have a passion for teaching children the proper way. It’s easy to write a bad review when you can’t get your way, but really good reviews. Those are the people that are honest and true.as for the air conditioning most gyms don’t have air. The keep the doors
Open have big fans and give the kids breaks. If your child is a cheerleader the practice outside in the heat in the sun I so wish people would tell the truth when they write a review and not just one side.

I would not recommend this space based on my experience. I was genuinely surprised by any positive feedback about this gym. My encounter with the owner was disappointing. She came across as unprofessional and made several unnecessary, snide remarks. Her tone and attitude felt unwelcoming and concerning, especially in a space meant for children. I hope this feedback encourages improvements in how parents are treated moving forward.

10/10 will recommend. My children have been participating in private and group session here for 3yrs now. The staff are very well equipped and trained in getting your child to their desired skill set. Sharon (the owner) greets everyone when they come in the door and she does not forget a face. Coach Mya and Coach Ashley (just to name a few) are the absolute best. My daughter started as a beginner and now can complete a full layout!!!

Both of my daughters have been coming to Tumbling 4 Cheerleading (TCA) for a few years now — and they absolutely love it! We came from another gym, and Sharon welcomed us with open arms. She’s truly amazing — always taking the time to explain which classes are right for your kids and going out of her way to help you get into the ones you need.

The coaches at TCA are fantastic — very attentive, supportive, and genuinely care about each child’s progress. My daughters have grown and improved tremendously since joining, and they’ve also made wonderful new friendships.

The gym itself is spacious and clean, and the viewing area is a great feature — you can sit comfortably and watch everything your kids are doing.

I highly recommend TCA. It’s more than just a gym — it truly becomes a family.

TCA is hands down the best place I have brought my daughter. She has shown more progress and confidence in herself and the staff is so amazing and welcoming and patient no matter the situation. I had a very disappointing experience at this gym. If I could give zero stars, I would. I strongly advise against sending your children here. In my experience, Sharon demonstrated unprofessional behavior and a concerning lack of inclusivity. These are not qualities I feel comfortable entrusting with my child’s care or development. Additionally, my child frequently complained about the excessive heat and poor ventilation inside the facility—an issue that is especially troubling for a space dedicated to physical activity. We love TCA! All coaches have been great! My girls are in 6th and 3rd grades, and they are both top tumblers on their cheer teams. We started from barely doing cartwheels 2 years ago and they have both come such a long way with the encouragement and support from TCA. We are currently working with Jon and Ashley, and we do 1x week classes and 1x week private lessons year round. The coaching staff really care about the girls and push them to succeed!

TCA is AMAZING! My daughter has tried other places and they wouldn't advance her because she didn't have a back walk over. We were fortunate enough to learn about TCA and it's been a game changer. She walked in only being able to do a cart wheel & round off. 4 months later with weekly classes and help from Jon's private lessons she's made the JV High School Cheer Team, is nailing her flip flop and almost has her tuck. My daughter absolutely loves all of the instructors there but Jon & Ellie are her faves! Everyone is so accommodating and I love that they have classes in the evenings and make up classes incase we miss one. Thank you!! We are so grateful!! 🧡🖤

I've been using TCA for many years now. I wouldn't imagine going anywhere else. The prices are very fair and reasonable compared to other local gyms I've seen. The staff is always very welcoming and helpful when it comes to what your goals are and what you are trying to accomplish. We've had a lot of success with our skills in the last few months and I really owe it to TCA. The Owner always goes above to help me register for classes as well. She's really helpful if we've missed a class as well, they offer many make up class options. The online system is really nice - if you are already a member, it give you priority registration so you can keep the class and times you want. The amount of kids per class is really nice, it doesn't get over crowded and we get a lot of attention from our tumbling instructor. Can't say enough about TCA but it's really a great business overall.

I am not seeing any recent reviews or updates so I thought I'd share my personal opinion of the gym. All the coaches are so sweet and motivating but I often find that parents can agree that Sharon is unprofessional and rude and makes snide marks. Her tone and attitude are very alarming I always feel like she isn’t welcoming to students when I drop my girls off for their lessons. I also am seeing that many girls are complaining about the heat and lack of air in the gym. It is a SPORTS gym, please add some a/c before one of our girls falls from a heat stroke.

My daughter was involved for several years in a gymnastics program prior to joining TCA. I reluctantly joined TCA late in summer for her to get the back handspring perfect for high school cheer tryout. The price is right for the service they provide and I don’t think it’s unreasonable for a yearly enrollment fee. Those fees help hold parents accountable for their kids activities!! (Yes, us parents do get busy and don’t always want to go to another practice) Although we didn’t make the cheer team this year, she is determined to make it next year. As a parent I have seen her focus and ability make significant improvements since joining the Tumbling for Cheer Academy in Mokena, IL. I commute an hour there, wait for an hour class, and then drive an hour home. Joining TCA has been the BEST CHOICE WE MADE! I don’t mind the hour drive because it gives us time together, and I see my daughter setting and crushing the goals she sets within herself. I have since signed up for 2 more sessions due to her tumbling success. I truly thank the help of the friendly and knowledgeable staff at TCA. They have helped build confidence in my teenager along with teaching her the techniques she needs for cheerleading. She literally tried for almost two years to do a back handspring and in 3 months now has the confidence to do a running back handspring. Our next goal is the back tuck. Looking forward to what the next session goals are. I would definitely recommend if you’re considering joining TCA. Small business is what builds a community and they definitely have their heart in the game at TCA.

Update: After Re-registering my girls in 2019 after being gone for two years the service was so much better. They remembered my girls and treated them fairly well. I think one of my girls should have been in a bit higher level class based on the information from the site and the skills she was able to perform, but they did have fun.

Need more tumbling coaches on weekends. Haven't been able to get a weekend class but there always seem to be open makeups on that day and I rarely see girls there on Saturday mornings. Front desk staff can be rude. Girls were in line to check in for class but they had them wait because a parent was registering. That made these girls late for class and when a parent questioned why leave these girls in a long line outside the door they were told "well it's warm they'll be okay".
