About the Club

Unicus Fitness is actively providing Online Video Training and Coaching. We are providing our branded fitness training to customers around the globe who train with us at home or in a gym, all while online virtually. All levels of fitness training are provided but we excel with clients over 50.
In addition, Unicus Fitness also provides consulting services for Commercial and Residential Buildings as well as Hotels and Resorts for any fitness amenity project, including fitness center design & layout, equipment procurement, installation and programming/staffing needs.

Unicus Fitness has won international awards for its work as a fitness amenity expert and can help turn any location into a high performing asset for its building owners/managers.

When the lockdown started I was disappointed to stop training with Frank at Unicus Fitness. Though I didn't see how online training could work, I decided to try. It has been a great experience. I am getting the same benefits as in-person training and the same attention to correct form and safe exercises that have increased my strength and flexibility. Frank's knowledge of body mechanics and senior-appropriate exercises has had a positive impact on my health and well-being. Anyone undecided about online training should try one session and see how effective it is.

I cannot explain how incredibly happy I have been with my personal trainer, Frank! I reached out to him because I wanted to focus on a specific area of my stomach. After a 30 minute session I felt that burn (a great feeling!) for another 3 days! I wish virtual personal trainer sessions would have been available prior to Covid. I don’t like to go to gyms to workout so this is PERFECT! We just FaceTime or Zoom and it works perfectly as I’m in Michigan and he is in Chicago! I would have loved to have this service available for my uncle prior to his passing while he was in an assisted living home, in San Diego. He needed to someone to keep him moving and Frank, I’m sure, would have whipped him in to shape in no time!
So whatever your need for Fitness, Frank can make it happen! Loved being able to customize my workout with him and I loved doing it from the comfort of my living room! I give Frank 5 stars! I won’t go to any other trainer! He made me feel very comfortable and no judgement when I couldn’t hold a move for the entire count! Thank you so much Frank!! You have a customer for life!

I absolutely loved training with Frank Nunez before Covid. But when Chicago shut down, I was pretty convinced my workout days were behind me. As a woman in her 60s, that would have been disastrous for my health and well-being, but what could I do? Frank knew what I could do! He helped me pivot and adapt to working out with him over Zoom. It’s been a resounding success! Frank provides his undivided attention. The zoom camera permits him to see and hear me clearly and make adjustments based on how my body reacts to a particular exercise. Using a few weights and other inexpensive and small items that easily tuck away, Frank has designed an ever-changing and appropriately challenging plan for me. I’ve given up a lot since March, but not my workouts. I’m, healthier, stronger and more flexible than ever. I sincerely hope that Frank intends to carry this training option in the future. I’m in my seventies and have worked out regularly for over 50 years. I have trained with many people . I have learned more about my body mechanics from Frank at Unicus . I wish I had trained with his techniques and probably wouldn’t have the joint issues I’m dealing with. In a short period of time my mobility and flexibility have improved to a level I didn’t think possible. In particular the technique of proper sequencing, technique, pacing , stretching and restorative activities have altered my trajectory in an incredible direction. have worked with Frank now for over two months and I can tell the difference! don't let the word bootcamp scare you! it is not a crowded room where the trainer barely notices you. Frank pays close attention to make sure you have the correct form during the workouts. it is orange theory but better because you get individualized attention and not just told to go to each station but receives no supervision! also very convenient to public transportation

I'm about 3 weeks into a 3 month package for personal training and it's amazing! Granted sometimes I shoot Frank looks of evil as he makes me do exercises I struggle with but he means well (: He is very educated and doesn't just say "do 10 push ups" but will explain to you what muscle group it works, and how you can improve the exercise, or modify if necessary. He caters to your needs and still allows you to get a good workout in- ie: you skipped breakfast(so you don't have proper energy fro a hardcore workout), or pulled a muscle, etc- he will modify the planned routine to ensure you don't hurt yourself and still feel accomplished from the workout. Another plus side is that because the gym is slightly smaller, you will more than likely be alone during your workout so you don't have to worry about potentially looking silly or struggling in front of other gym goers! Frank is awesome! 10/10 recommend.

I take Lemont's classes , one TRX and the other Fat Burn Sweat and I absolutely love them. It's definitely hard work and Lemont doesn't mess around but I always leave feeling great and feeling energized. I wish he had a class every day but for now this will do :)

Frank has been my PT for almost 2 yrs. The concept of stretching after every exercise has prevented me from being injured. I am 72 and i seldom did exercises. never knew what to do. Since starting with Frank I have become stronger and motivated to do exercises. I thought i would do it for a month and it be over. It is now 2 yrs.

I began working out with Frank Nunez in 2015 to gain strength in preparation for major surgery. I believe my quick recovery is in a big part due to our training. He also helped me shape up for my wedding and then more importantly had a huge part in my recovery after a knee replacement and then shoulder surgery. I have severe RA and he is extremely knowledgeable on how to strengthen where it's needed to obtain maximum results without further joint damage.
